This article is about an episode in Chodenshi Bioman. |
Rise up! Bio Robo (起て!バイオロボ Tate! Baio Robo) is the sixth episode of Chodenshi Bioman. This is notable as the final episode where Yuki Yajima both performs and voices the actions of her character, Mika Koizumi, the first Yellow4. Due to the unusual circumstances involving Yajima's departure with several episodes filmed but with incomplete post-production, the next several episodes until her final departure will be dubbed by a voice actress.
In the Philippine English Dub, the title of the episode changed to "The Pollution Conspiracy".
Synopsis[]
Mika's pursuit of a lead when a Mecha-Gigan crash lands near a mountain leads her into a confrontation with Farah over a plot connected with a trap by Gear to stop Bio Robo.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Doctor Man launching Rhino Canth in a launch pod. Mika sees the launch pod make it's landing and, believing it to be a UFO, takes pictures. She sends the pictures to her team and departs to the UFO, But hears something suspicious in the grounds.
Down below, Rhino Canth drills onto the ceiling and places poison gas in them. He also places booby traps in the ceiling to capture the Bio Robo. She walks across a bridge to avoid the gas, but gets ambushed by Fara and Faracat. Mika transforms into Yellow4, but Aquaiger attacks, until the rest of the Biomen arrive. Fara and Faracat disappear and Aquaiger escapes. Mika hears the underground drilling again and leaves to try and stop Gear on her own.
She sneaks into the base, disarms the switch box, and steals it. Gear corners her, but the rest of the Biomen arrive and Mika destroys the switch box. After the team defeats the Mechaclones, Aquaiger arrives with a spare switch box. The Biomen defeat Aquaiger with the Bio Miracle Wave, but Fara activates the gas. The Bio Jets combine to form the Bio Robo. Bio Robo blocks the gas, but gets captured by the booby trap. Rhino Canth grows larger to destroy Bio Robo, but Bio Robo breaks free and, after a brief fight, destroys Rhino Canth with the Straight Flush.
The episode ends with a race between Mika and Shirou, with Mika being happier than usual.
