9 Pokers!! The Beauty's Trap (9ポーカー!! 美女の罠 Nain Pōkā!! Bijo no Wana) is the sixth episode of J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai.
Synopsis[]
Ryu investigates a woman who may be connected to a CRIME agent causing strange earthquakes.
Plot[]
On the Bousou Peninsula, Goro is observing a boat travelling to the port. CRIME is suspected of operating in the area, and J.A.K.Q. is there to find out the truth. Goro uses a Remote Hearing Device built into his ear to eavesdrop on two men talking from a distance. The man was telling a story about how a whirlpool formed under his boat and tried to suck him in, but the older man did not believe him. As Goro looked away for a moment, he notices the older man is gone, and the younger man had been assassinated.
Ryu and Karen finds a body washed ashore from a shipwreck, and Ryu notes it's the 26th body they had found so far. It is then a mysterious earthquake occurred, and they run for shelter. They run into their outpost, where Bunta is monitoring the situation. Ryu and Karen states they can't find anything that could have caused it. The four members meet up at the hotel and draw their conclusions. Goro states the quakes were caused by CRIME using hydroelectric generators to build a secret underground base in the area.
At CRIME Island Fortress, Crime Boss Tomioka meets with Iron Claw to inform him of the success. The base can generate enough energy that CRIME can carry out any plans. Iron Claw worries about J.A.K.Q.'s involvement, but Tomioka reassures they will be dealt with soon enough.
Later, Goro and Ryu are tailing a Tomioka and woman at the hotel. Ryu sits down in a poker game with the Crime Boss, and wins effortlessly using his cyborg ability to cheat at the game. He wins a date with the woman, and they will meet the next day.
Ryu meets with the woman, and they go on a date, where Ryu plants a tracker on her. Karen and Bunta track Tomioka, who disappeared into the sea. Iron Claw makes contact with the woman, who is revealed to be Devil Amazon. Devil Amazon relays information that Tomioka plans to betray him and become the leader, while a J.A.K.Q. attack is only a matter of time. Iron Claw orders her to deal with the threat. Devil Amazon then dives into the sea.
Bunta and Karen sneak into the base, unknowingly being monitored by the Crime Boss. As Tomioka announces his plan to defeat Iron Claw and become the new boss of CRIME, Devil Amazon attacks him, shooting him dead just as Karen and Bunta enter the room. They fight off Crimers, and Ryu arrives to get them out of there. As the J.A.K.Q. flee on speedboat, they were ambushed by Devil Sharks. Goro arrives in the Sky Ace, and saves them.
As they make it to shore, they transform and fight off Crimers and Devil Amazon. Devil Amazon is finally defeated using the J.A.K.Q. Covack.
