The Son from the Darkness (闇からの息子, Yama Kara no Musuki) is the forty-eighth episode of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, the second part of the four-part endgame arc.

Synopsis

The Zyurangers struggle to deal with Kai and DoraTalos, which is made more difficult with a decision by King Brachion and the revelation regarding who Bandora and her son really are.

Plot

The massive power of Dora Talos overwhelms Daizyujin. Even after Geki summons Dragon Caesar and Gouryuujin is formed later it;s still not enough. When Geki tries to summon King Brachion, Barza stops him. Barza has figured out that Bandora's real purpose for this battle is to destroy the dinosaurs eggs maintained in King Brachion. However, King Brachion appears and Kyuukyoku Daizyujin destroys Dora Talos. With Dora Talo's head still intact, the four children that were hypnotized are rescued safely. However, King Brachion falls into Bandora's trap and is lost underground with the dinosaur eggs. Barza, after deciphering the book, 'Dyno Apocalypse,' explains to the Zyurangers about the real importance of the dinosaur eggs. The two eggs are the last pair of the dinosaurs on earth, and if they are destroyed, Dinosaurs are truly extinct from this world and Daizyujin will lose its major power source and might even die. Barza also tells the Zyurangers about a segment in 'Dyno Apocalypse,' describing a story of a Dal tribe queen, who lost her son by an accident caused by a dinosaur. The queen vowed revenge on dinosaurs and people who worship dinosaurs, and sold her soul to Satan, Meaning it was Bandora. Meanwhile, Bandora sets Satan's Tower on the Earth again and summons DaiSatan. Satan re-emerges from hell and starts to devastate the earth. Kai and the revived Dora Talos join Satan to spread the havoc. The Zyurangers and Daizyujin cannot find a way to defeat them without King Brachion.
