Destruction!! The Super-Powered Base (壊滅！！超力基地 Kaimetsu!!Chōriki Kichi) is the forty-fifth episode of Choriki Sentai Ohranger. This is the first part of the four-part series finale, featuring the resumption of the Machine Empire Baranoia's invasion of Earth and the destruction of U.A.O.H.'s secret base in the Japan Alps.
Synopsis[]
Kaiser Buldont uses a machine-controlling Machine Beast to begin a final all-out assault of Earth, forcing the Ohranger into the beginning of their ultimate showdown.
Plot[]
Late at night, a strange earthquake occurs waking Mikio as he looks out the window noticing a giant Machine Beast, Bara Micron, outside. The boy witnesses the Machine Beast emitting a green pollen before it notices him and knocks him to the ground.
The next morning, Goro awakens in his apartment noticing his clock suddenly acting haywire as it spins out of controls and flies through the air and out the window, feeling impossible as it hangs from a tree and falls to the ground. Mikio reaches Goro telling him about the strange Machine Beast which made him black out; Goro asks where he saw it, but suddenly a car starts chasing pedestrians with no driver trying to run them over and crush them with it's hood. Goro and Mikio try to save him as OhRed asks what's going on as he contacts UAOH headquarters, Miura confirming machines running rampant; including a woman being dragged by a vacuum pursued by Juri and Momo and various appliances towering up and attacking the populace including Shouhei and Juri. Soon a giant shovel lifts up various construction workers and dumps them, making Goro escort Mikio away to safety.
Above the city, Bara Micron continues to emit it's green pollen, while in the Japan Alps, UAOH is keeping track of the haywire machines throughout Tokyo forcing everyone to attempt to escape but with a huge earthquake hitting knocking out the computers at their base. As the Ohranger arrive with Mikio, Miura reveals the first control box was knocked out and they need to switch to the second, which Juri and Momo get to. Goro states that Mikio saw a Machine Beast and Baranoia is behind this; commander asks what it was and the boy states it was like a centipede sending out whirls of light through the city, confusing Miura as he tells Momo to analyze the air in the room and display the results on the monitor. When OhPInk does so, it shows the strange green pollen surrounding everything, confirming the commander's suspicions about why the machines are acting strange, confirming them as "Dark Particles", particles smaller than light with zero mass that can infiltrate any machine and cause them to run out of control, making the Ohranger confirm them as the culprit. Miura curses out Baranoia for sending out such a powerful Machine Beast at this point. Goro tries to figure out what the purpose is now as an announcement occurs that a power outage has occurred throughout Tokyo due to a breakdown of all of Tokyo's power generators. Yuji wonders if this is the Dark Particles and states that without power, Tokyo could be destroyed! Another alarm goes off as a Baranoia fleet approaches Earth.
From within the descending Baranoia ships, Buldont announces that the "New Baranoia Empire" shall finally invade Earth and that this is the final battle of humanity and machines. He states that humans have treated machines like slaves for too long as Multiwa adds now the inverse shall occur: humans will be slaves to the machines! Through their beams, the machines reactivate running amuck through the city again via the Dark Particles causing further chaos. Goro orders the Ohranger to head out, but Miura stops them stating that Baranoia wants OhBlocker to be deployed to use the Dark Particles to make it malfunction. The team try to fight against their leader telling them they need to deploy it for their purpose to protect Earth, which leads to them heading out regardless of the warning, Miura worried.
As the Tankonpas begin new attacks on the city, the Ohranger send out OhBlocker to battle, confronting the machines as they fire their beams destroying them while withstanding more attacks and using the Twin Blocken Swords to deflect their assault and slice them apart. From a Baranoia ship, Buldont and Multiwa emerge; the emperor stating he knew they'd use OhBlocker and that their luck has run out, summoning Bara Micron to confront them as it marches towards them; OhBlocker uses it's swords to try and attack but is constricted in the process due to the huge body before the mecha is attacked by Bara Micron's beam. Buldont orders Bara Micron to use it's Dark Particles to cause OhBlocker to malfunction; but before it can, Goro orders OhGreen to emerge, which he does in Red Puncher and uses the Magna Puncher to disable the Machine Beast and allow for it to double-team against the threat as Shouhei states he'll finish it off. At Multiwa's worry, Buldont orders Bara Micron to use it's trump card, making it split apart and use multiple parts to pummel both mecha before firing a beam to hurt them! As they're pummeled, Bara Micron fires Dark Particles into Red Puncher, making it work out of control as it dances around. Joking around, Buldont orders Acha to fire music out as Red Puncher starts dancing around without control! Bara Micron soon does the same to OhBlocker, making both mecha dance about as Bara Micron reforms itself and the Baranoia leaders joke about their dancing as the music speeds up making both mecha go haywire, shocking both Miura and Mikio as the leader forces them to eject, making both OhBlocker and Red Puncher fall and forcing the Ohranger to depart them.
As the team regroups, Bara Micron shoots them from the ground making the team fire King Smashers but be attacked again and again making them open to Buldont and Multiwa's attacks and their swords and arrows. Changing her bow into a sword, Multiwa fights OhRed, crushing him while the other Ohranger are tossed about by Buldont before both crush the team long enough for Bara Micron to fire more Dark Particles at them, undoing their transformation! As they watch, one of Baranoia's saucers abducts OhBlocker, allowing Acha to analyze the mecha and use it to discover the location of the UAOH home base, leading to the emperor to order an attack immediately and making Goro yell out for their leader.
Reaching the Japan Alps, the saucers and Tankonpas of Baranoia attack the UAOH headquarters, destroying everything as Miura protects Mikio from the collapsing facility. The entire facility collapses around them as the workers try to escape as quickly as possible and an army of Barlo invade to assault and kill anyone they can find. Miura and Mikio escape to the room with the Tetrahedron empowering the Choriki of the team, the leader stating the base is done for as the Barlo continue rampaging. Miura states the only thing they can do is protect the remaining robots, sending Ohranger Robo and Tackle Boy to descend below the base for their protection. The Baranoia assault continues as the security and workers are assaulted and killed and the base explodes around them, Mikio falling to the ground as Miura is crushed by the nearby rubble! The boy rushes to protect the UAOH leader as he tells Mikio to run and tell the others that to get to somewhere Baranoia can't reach and plan a counterattack as the base continues to rumble and collapse around the two of them.
On the ground, the five Ohranger continue to run from Multiwa's attack as she pursues the team with Buldont, the duo cornering them around a cliff with nowhere to run. Shouhei and Yuji rush the Barlo telling Goro and the girls to run, the trio rushing away despite crying out for their safety. The three roll down a hill to escape as the girls worry about Shouhei and Yuji but Buldont and Multiwa keep attacking and sending Barlo against them giving chase. The emperor decides to take Shouhei and Yuji away as the three remaining Ohranger keep running, wondering if Baranoia will truly conquer Earth.
