The Last Day of the Three God Generals (三神将最期の日 Sanshinshō Saigo no Hi) is the forty-third episode of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
Synopsis[]
As the God Generals continue to face relentless assault from Daradara, they force the Kakuranger to track down Hakumenrou in hopes of using him to figure out the means to stop Daimaou's doppelganger.
Plot[]
As Daimaou orders Daradara to suck the God Generals' power away, the trio are sent away with the Kakuranger back to Wind Illusion Castle. The team asks the God Generals what's going on, but they reveal an image of Daradara running amuck through the city as Ninjaman states the masters will never emerge again; yet Daimaou says it doesn't matter since this destruction is punishment for their escape. The Kakuranger prepare to leave, but the God Generals say to not rush it and that Daradara will soon leave. At that very moment, Daimaou tells the creature to stop and withdraw; Saizou wonders what's going on, and the Gods state that Daimaou knows that if Daradara emerges again, they'll go out and try to defeat it even at the risk of Ninjaman's life. Seikai wonders if that's a good strategy but the Gods show that the people were living peacefully before the Yokai showed up and they three are the only ones who can save Earth alongside the Kakuranger. They mention they are willing to sacrifice their own lives to save the planet and Ninjaman feels the same. But Sasuke states that Ninjaman's a member and they can't sacrifice him, leading to the Gods instructing them to see Hakumenrou and he'll take them to where Ninjaman is captured, surprising the team and with Tsuruhime confirming that Hakumenrou's deceived everyone to be a spy on Daimaou. With no time to waste, the Gods instruct the Kakuranger to do what they're told to.
At the Yokai Mansion, Ninjaman confirms with Daimaou that the next time his masters appear, they will sacrifice his life to defeat Daradara. Daimaou calls them heartless and comments that justice is a cruel thing while Ninjaman confirms he's willing to die for the safety of others. However Daimaou realizes that Ninjaman's life is useful to him, thus instructing a new stage that will defeat the God Generals and Kakuranger. Hakumenrou wonders what the stage is while wondering how he can stop the process; returning to Daradara's eggshell, he wonders if he can find Daradara's weakness while the leader watches over him.
Elsewhere, the Kakuranger drive forth as Tsuruhime contemplates the ideas that her father isn't a traitor when they see Bun and the two German Shepards. The team confirms to the boy that Hakumenrou is on their side and Tsuruhime states they have no time and that he has to guide them to where the two of them meet. Convincing him, the group drive Nekomaru into a forest confirming the spot where Hakumenrou should be; Tsuruhime rushing out ahead and Sasuke staying behind realizing the Flowery Kunoichi are near telling Bun to stay behind. Tsuruhime calls out to her father as Sasuke states they should leave, that there is a strange presence that could be a trap. However Tsuruhime states they're about to find her father and that she won't leave until he's found, running around as Hakumenrou sees her but notices the approaching Flowery Kunoichi. Leaping out, Hakumenrou attacks the Kakuranger to their surprise; Jiraiya tells them they know everything but he continues on the attack, telling Sasuke to run as the team are attacked by Daimaou's forces; with Hakumenrou holding them off. However, the team becomes attacked by Yoki lightning as Daimaou appears before them, revealing he knew about his disloyalty and that he let him hang around to use him as part of his plan to defeat the Kakuranger and God Generals with Daradara! Daimaou mocks them stating that family love is all that's needed to defeat the Kakuranger and that his plan went better than planned. Angered, Hakumenrou charges but Daimaou attacks him, lifting him with Yoki lightning and attacking stating this is the fate of those who betray him. Hakumenrou calls out to his daughter while revealing a crane-shaped Shuriken he throws away before he appears destroyed, shocking Tsuruhime and the Kakuranger as they begin to transform. But as they do, they are prohibited, with Daimaou stating there was a barrier placed up preventing all Ninpo from working before summoning the Flowery Kunoichi to handle them as they're soon joined by Daradara. The team attempts to fight off the warriors, the Kakuranger being easily crushed by the Flowery Kunoichi before Sasuke is blown away by Sakura.
Sasuke runs for his life until he hits a watery cliffside, Sakura tells him to stop but is thrown into the water with her and Ran confirming he fell into the ocean as the other Kakuranger show themselves shocked while being captured themselves. Daimaou instructs them to search and to hunt him by any means possible while telling Daradara to suck away the power of the other Kakuranger and rampage to lure out the God Generals. With its' gooey hands, the creature approaches as the Kakuranger scream.
As the evening sun sets, Sasuke emerges from within the water but sees the pursuing Flowery Kunoichi, the ninja not wondering if there's anything he can do about this. As he runs, Daradara re-emerges in the city destroying everything while Daimaou pushes it to lure out the God Generals, while Tsuruhime blames her recklessness in causing this problem. Daimaou states that if the God Generals aren't going to come out from mere rampaging, he'll force them out, telling Daradara to reveal further power as it rains goo throughout the city making people start suffocating. Daimaou states this is a poisonous slime that will kill everyone in excruciating pain, tormenting the Gods to act or watch their people die in agony.
Ultimately the three Gods emerge on the scene, pleasing Daimaou as he reveals for Daradara to show it's true power, making it transform into a more powerful being with the power of not just Ninjaman but the four captured Kakuranger as well; thus all attacks will hurt not just Ninjaman but the four as well! Daimaou asks the God Generals what they will do as Tsuruhime tells the Gods to not mind them and to attack with the other Kakuranger joining in stating they have to be willing to sacrifice their lives for humanity. As people continue to struggle and writhe in pain, the Gods and Daradara stand in standoff.
Meanwhile, Sasuke continues to be pursued by the Flowery Kunoichi-gumi, the five female throwing down attacks as Daimaou laughs that everything has gone according to plan.
