Sentai's Public Execution!! (戦隊公開処刑！！ Sentai Kōkai Shokei!!) is the forty-second episode of Choriki Sentai Ohranger.
Synopsis[]
Dorin decides to release a forbidden ancient power in order to save the Ohranger when they become captured for Buldont's public execution, putting both herself and Riki at risk.
Plot[]
On a dark road, the Ohranger discover a basket with a crying baby hanging from a tree, stating that the information they accumulated was accurate. As they approach, Acha watches over them with a camera stating they've come and states this will make an amusing broadcast. Investigating, Gorou discovers the baby is actually a bomb in the shape of a doll, which he warns to avoid as it explodes, throwing them away! The lights of a nearby truck turns on as Multiwa attacks them, forcing them to transform but be blindsided by Kaiser Buldont. The Emperor and Empress assault them as Dorin watches from afar, the broadcast taped and broadcasted to the city as Buldont announces that he has prepared a magnificent show of cruelty. As Dorin continues to watch, a new Machine Beast, Bara Hunter, puts a sword to her neck telling her to be quiet as he fires a beam knocking the Ohranger out further. At headquarters, Miura tries to get the team to respond but they've vanished, Dorin noticing their Braces knocked off their wrists and damaged making her worry.
By the next day, Buldont and Multiwa laugh as four captured Ohranger struggle, the broadcast having the emperor announce the capture of the heroes and announcing his show of cruelty: the Ohranger's public execution! Multiwa states that once they have OhRed, the execution will begin. Dorin arrives at the headquarters with the braces as she cries it's her fault, making Miura concerned by what happened. As she explains, Dorin states that when Bara Hunter appeared, he told her to not cry out, thus she blames herself for the failure. Miura tells Dorin to not cry and that no one blames her for what happened and it will be fine; stating OhRed is still out there and will do the best for them as she tries to calm down.
Elsewhere, Gorou rushes through the fields being pursued by Bara Hunter, who tracks him with sight and sound and a tracker camera that allows him to attack from merely finding him by infrared stating he can't get away. Gorou is soon attacked by Bara Hunter's boomerang, Buldont stating the Machine Beast is fully equipped with an array of sensors and is impossible to escape. Dorin rushes out as a bird warns her of OhRed's circumstance, as Gorou continues to run trying to avoid Bara Hunter's pursuit as it continues to track him even in the midst of a reservoir where it fires and weakens him. Buldont and Multiwa find him as does Dorin as Bara Hunter shoots him down; the mysterious girl trying to protect him as the Machine Beast tries to force her out of the way, only for KingRanger to protect her from attack from him and Buldont. Gorou lunges at Bara Hunter telling Riki and Dorin to escape, KingRanger summoning King Pyramider and teleporting away with the girl to safety as he falls to the ground and untransforms in his mecha, Dorin crying for his safety and making her worry about how she keeps hurting everyone. Raising her head, Dorin realizes "this is the only way now" and rushes deeper into King Pyramider, making Riki worried as she rushes up stairs reaching a door covered by a mask. Dorin steps forwards as Riki tries to stop her, stating this is "The Forbidden Room" that cannot be opened at all, but Dorin tells him to let go. The boy warrior warns what would happen if the door was opened, but Dorin warns that "the forbidden power is all we have left"; Riki continues to try and get her away but Dorin cries that she's been useless as everyone else has been working their hardest against Baranoia. Riki states that Dorin shouldn't fight and some shouldn't fight no matter what and have a duty to teach that; but Dorin states she wants to fight to bring back with everyone else.
The Ohranger continue to struggle as Buldont torments them stating that saying goodbye may be hard but that is what they'll have to do soon. Gorou states justice will triumph as Shouhei adds that they won't lose to some scrap metal angering the emperor and forcing the start of the public execution as the team struggles on live broadcast.
In the Forbidden Room, Dorin worries that they aren't doing anything as the Ohranger struggle, making her approach the door again; even as Riki yells out, Dorin places her hand in the mouth as it bites down, opening pulling her and Riki inside! Within, the duo discover an ancient sword with two faces on it's hilt; Dorin reaches for it but Riki tries to prevent her from taking it; but as they place it in the water where it stood, the door opens throwing both of them and the sword outside!
Meanwhile, the Barlo hold up guns towards the helpless Ohranger, Gorou telling the team to not give up and stay strong until the end. Acha prepares to broadcast the Ohranger's final end as the team prepares for the worst until a huge demonic face descends before them, destroying Acha's broadcast truck and freeing the team! As it subsides, Riki and Dorin emerge with the sword planted in the ground; Dorin rushes to it but Riki takes it, stating swords don't suit her. Riki holds the sword over his head as he transforms, his face turning white with red markings on the side, surprising even Kaiser Buldont! Riki soon starts throwing the power around him, shocking both the Ohranger and Baranoia while freeing the team, attacking everything without abandon including Dorin! Miura arrives realizing that Riki is now using "The Forbidden Power"; as the Ohranger meet up with their leader and wonder what happens, he states that "those who use the forbidden power will continue to fight without end!" KingRanger continues to attack as Dorin worries she doesn't want to see Riki like this and Miura confirms if he keeps acting this way, he will die.
Bringing a new set of Braces, Miura allows the Ohranger to transform as they fight to hold Riki back but are hit by the power he's emitting. Miura tells Dorin to pray and that the prayers of the one person who must not fight no matter what can conquer any trial. At his advice, Dorin prays for the end of fighting, trying to bring back the peace that existed 600 million years ago throughout the Earth. As she prays, a flower blossoms in water as Riki finally loses control, screaming as the sword with the Forbidden Power is vaporized, restoring KingRanger to normal. The Ohranger check on Riki as Multiwa declares they'll get back at him, with the Baranoia duo and Bara Hunter charging towards them. Riki states he will protect Dorin until the day fighting ends, transforming into KingRanger and attacking Bara Hunter to support the Ohranger as they fight his blast attacks, KingRanger firing the King Victory Flash and the Ohranger the Ole Bazooka to stop it, leading to Acha and Kocha to grow the Machine Beast. Summoning the Blocker Robo, the team fight against the martial arts of Bara Hunter with his knife attacks and beams. King Pyramider soon joins blasting him before it's countered allowing for the creation of OhBlocker by the Ohranger. Bara Hunter fires a grappling hook and explosives to attack the mecha slashing at the Ohranger until they summon the Twin Blocken Sword to cut the wires and weapons yet becoming hit by the beam attack. Forming King Pyramider Battle Formation, the Ohranger and KingRanger finish off Bara Hunter with the Super Legend Beam.
Later, Riki chases Dorin as the Ohranger watch and laugh; the duo reconnect their bond making flowers in the water impressing the UAOH warriors as they run off again. Juri notes they're having fun while Gorou states that for Dorin and Riki who came from 600 million years ago, they have to restore the peace for Earth as soon as possible as the duo continue to run to allow for the Dorin to live as she is.
