Your Souls, Please! (魂ちょうだい! Tamashii Chōdai!) is the third episode of Gosei Sentai Dairanger. It is the first part of a two-part story involving the battle with the Key Jester.
Synopsis[]
Daigo is brought in to help Shoji and Kazu after a girl accuses them of hurting her little brother attacked by a Gorma Minion.
Plot[]
Kazu is driving a convertible through the city when Shoji challenges him to a race. Kazu takes up the challenge, and they speed up. During the race, a kid named Masao runs into the road, forcing the two to swerve out of the way. They got off their vehicles to ask if the boy is OK, it is then a girl named Kaori runs out, criticizes the two men and forces them to give up their personal information.
Elsewhere, a strange man on roller blades skates through the city, ad proclaims he has keys that can open anything. Entering a house, he approaches Masao in his room, and presents a key that can open the door to people's souls. He transforms into his Gorma form, Key Jester, and jams the key into Masao's chest, retrieving his soul. Kaori opens up the door, which is then the Gorma disappeared. Kaori discovers Masao completely comatose.
The next day, Kazu receives a call from Kaori, asking him to come to the hospital. Kazu and Shoji arrive, and Kaori who insists it is their fault for Masao's condition. The doctor states he doesn't think so, saying that they have been receiving many children with the same symptoms.
As they leave the hospital, they agree to keep it a secret from their teammates. It is then a car chase them down. The car stops once it crashes into a pole, and Shoji opens the door, only to find a puppet of a dwarf in the driver seat. The puppet leaps onto Shoji, strangles him before running away.
Later, Shoji and Kazu tells their teammates of the attack, only for them to not believe the two. As Ryo, Rin and Kazu walk off, Daigo stays, stating they should investigate.
At a stadium, Key Jester meets with the Gorma Triumvirate and is berated by them for going against the plan and attacking the Dairangers. They ask him to comply, and he agrees.
Shoji, Kazu and Daigo meet Kaori and questions her if anything strange happened. Kaori stills insists Shoji and Kazu are at fault, causing them to walk away. Daigo stays and asks her what happened. Kaori explains everything, it is then they hear a scream. They spot Key Jester stealing the soul of another kid. Daigo chase after him, with Kaori following, but was attacked by puppets. The puppet harass the two, and then get in a car and drive off.
Meanwhile at a restaurant, Shoji and Kazu rationalize what happened was most likely a prank, and decides to not worry about it.
Meanwhile, Daigo and Kaori follows the car to an abandoned factory, where they hear children singing. They see the singing came from puppets, with Key Jester there bringing them to life with the souls he stole. Daigo transforms into ShishiRanger and fights Key Jester. Fighting alone, he was easily overwhelmed by the Gorma, and the Gorma Triumvirate appear to help Key Jester defeat the Dairanger. Daigo is forced to watch as Key Jester steals Kaori's soul, and throws her body off the cliff. Daigo catches her, when the rest of the Dairangers arrive. In a fit of rage, Daigo punches Shoji and Kazu, and carries away Kaori's comatose body.
