Protect it! A Lifeform of Space (守れ! 宇宙の一粒の命 Mamore! Uchū no Hitotsubu no Inochi) is the thirty-ninth episode of Choju Sentai Liveman.
Synopsis[]
Jou assists an alien in retrieving a seed from its homeworld trapped within a meteor Brain Beast.
Plot[]
Guildos and Butchy find a meteor. They take it back to Brain Base, where Gash turns it into Meteor Brain. The once-human doctors are skeptical.
The Livemen attempt to battle Meteor Brain, but Meteor Brain is too tough for their weapons.
Meanwhile, alien messenger Bebu comes to Earth. Injured, he crosses paths with Jou and informs him that the meteor came from his home world, Planet Doha in the M15 Galaxy, which was destroyed. All that remains from Doha is the seed they planted in a meteorite, and Bebu is its protector. Bebu had intended to plant the flower on Earth.
Coming up with a plan to save the seed, the Livemen outfit Lion Bazooka with an icy warhead to become a Freezing Gun. When Meteor Brain is frozen, the Livemen attack with their respective weapons. However, Meteor Brain is unfazed.
Bebu fires a telepathic laser at Meteor Brain to save the seed; however, this uses all of his energy. He collapses and relays his dying wish for peace in the arms of Yellow Lion before he disintegrates.
The Livemen aim the Biomotion Buster at the small puncture wound left by Bebu's attack. The Livemen then destroy the enlarged Meteor Brain with Live Boxer. Jou recovers Bebu's seed and plants it as it begins to rain. The seed quickly grows and sprouts.
Jou imagines Bebu still alive to care for the flower, and the narrator relays his hopes that peace will come before the flower blooms.
