Iit's a Special Compilation!! (特別編だよっ!! Tokubetsu Hen Da yō!!) is the thirty-ninth episode of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.

Synopsis

The Announcer returns with behind-the-scenes coverage of the Kakuranger as they take on a Yokai claiming to be invincible.

Plot

A Yokai is rampaging through the streets as Dorodoro attack people as the Kakuranger appear before it; it introduces itself as Nopperabo stating he's the most feared killer in the Yokai world and he's been instructed by Daimaou to eliminate them. The Kakuranger transform and deal with the Dorodoro when the Announcer suddenly pops out of a trash can and hits one in the head! The Announcer tries to introduce himself but another Dorodoro flies towards him making him smash it with a beer bottle as the Announcer states he's going to do a Special Compilation that he doesn't do often to show off the Kakuranger and Yokai secrets. The Kakuranger soon use the Shark Driver to smash into Nopperabo, scaring the Announcer further.

A bit later, the Announcer appears before a camp site for the Kakuranger at 6 in the morning after defeating the Yokai deciding to show how the team looks as they sleep, showing the males just laying about at random as he tickles Jiraiya's nose; the Announcer states they don't sleep in a normal bed due to their fight. The Announcer soon goes into Tsuruhime's tent asking to kiss her but she screams as she tries to go back to sleep. He them talks to Nekomaru as he decides to go inside the Yokai bus, seeing the items inside including the means to make crepes to make a living. He soon finds a remote that opens the blind to the crepe stand, then pushing another revealing cannons that he doesn't see leading to it to start shooting at the tents waking the Kakuranger and forcing the Announcer to retreat!

Later, the Kakuranger are selling crepes while the Announcer states the team is always training to fight Yokai. Tsuruhime finishes selling crepes as she throws coins into jars without looking; while Jiraiya opens up a whole carton of eggs without problem. Seikai is seen working on Nekomaru on a bed of nails, while Saizou is sewing blindfolded and Sasuke ends up sleeping on a one-legged chair, impressing the announcer. Soon, he notices two Dorodoro appearing; he starts chasing them while explaining the story of the Kakuranger, including the original Yokai battle and the Kakuranger reopening it forcing them to fight the Yokai in the modern day.

The Announcer then soon reviews all the Yokai in order as they arrive at the Yokai Mansion where Daimaou lives. The crew sneak through the mansion while he states it's dangerous but they're inside, yet worry where the Dorodoro are. They soon discover a pool where the Flowery Kunoichi-gumi are undressing and playing around as he reminds the cast they're actually cats. The Announcer starts drooling as they bring the camera over, sneaking about until a camera states they'll see them. He soon spies on Hakumenrou as he looks over his sword, the Announcer reminding that he works on both sides. Reaching Daimaou, the leader states that the team let their guard down after defeating Nopperabo, surprising the Announcer that he's still alive; the Yokai states he's invincible but Daimaou states to not let them defeat him again as the Yokai gets stitched up by the Dorodoro, reinforcing him while he gains new power to defeat the Kakuranger in multiple weapons that he lodges into openings on his body. The Announcer states this will probably lead to another Kakuranger/Yokai battle until Daimaou notices a human inside his base, forcing the camera crew to be chased by the Dorodoro and the Announcer to be tossed down a river as he yells for help and gets lodged into a tree before falling out.

The Kakuranger soon arrive in a quarry as Nopperabo and the Flowery Kunoichi appear; they're surprised he's still alive and sent a challenge, with the Yokai stating he's invincible and the team will now die, which Sasuke states they won't as they transform. Nopperabo soon wiggles his fingers and summons chains to bind them, stating this was his trap as he summons a gun from his arm; it states that Daimaou implanted weapons into it's body and that he'll make a beehive out of them with his new machine gun starting with Sasuke. NinjaRed, though, soon uses his remove to fire Nekomaru's gun as the Yokai bus bites down breaking the chains, NinjaRed wondering if they were going to fall for it so easily. The Flowery Kunoichi and Dorodoro soon head out to fight, the Kakuranger showing their abilities off including Ninjutsu, Shuriken and trickery; Nopperabo soon uses his weapons including a machine gun and missiles as Sasuke charges out and uses Hikarimaru and the Lightning Cut to knock the Yokai down again. Soon using the Yoki Cloud to grow, the Kakuranger soon summon their Ninja God Beasts; Sasuke uses a "clone technique" to have God Saruder also summon Red Saruder and Battle Saruder, using all three to attack the giant Nopperabo destroying him as his pieces fall about before they all reform and the Yokai declares he's invincible again. Nopperabo soon summons the Noppera Gun from his shoulder, but Ninjaman soon appears and attacks with his sword caught by the Yokai until he calls him a Novice, leading to Ninjaman to turn into Samuraiman and the Kakuranger to summon Super Kakure Daishogun. With Samuraiman declaring to teach him a lesson, they use Samurai Rage Bomber and Iron Fish Flying Finish to make Nopperabo fall apart; but then he rebuilds himself again. But without warning, he realizes his stomach is missing, with Samuraiman standing on top of it! As the Yokai yells to get it back, he states his stomach got cold and he dies.

The Announcer wonders if everyone loved it but also states he missed the fight and tells everyone to keep supporting the Kakuranger while trying to nurse his wounds.
