The Suspicious Exhaust Purging Operation (怪しい排ガス一掃作戦 Ayashii Haigasu Issō Sakusen) is the thirty-sixth episode of Gekisou Sentai Carranger. It is the conclusion of the Carranger's two-part battle to save Signalman and the planet Police from an evil influence.
Synopsis[]
With Signalman altered and allied with the Bowzock, the Carranger and Dapp must work out a way to remove the influence of the mind-altering gas to save both him and Sigtarou.
Plot[]
At a satellite station, Dappu states that the vehicles of the Carranger can't emit any exhaust gas since they are empowered by Carmagic and VRV Power as he types into a computer wondering who released the five-colored exhaust on Planet Police, believing if he can resolve the mystery of the gas, he can resolve the issue at hand. Dappu continues typing in until he realizes something; returning to the Carranger base, he states that the gases have an ability to brainwash; thus Signalman breathed it in and became brainwashed to attack the Carranger! When wondering about Sigtarou and the children of Police, Dappu hypothesizes that they breathed the gas in and brainwashed into having sore throats making them sick. The team wonders if the Bowzock is behind this, but Dappu states the scheme is too sophisticated to be pulled by them, making Natsumi realize there's another threat who worked to make Signalman and the Bowzock team up to defeat the Carranger, making Naoki and Dappu realizes they are formidable; but the alien wonders how to remove the gas within Signalman's body.
On the Baribarian, Signalman speaks to Zonnette asking her if they could be together if he divorced his wife; but Gynamo skirts him away to feel free to be more intimate with her. Grotch decides on a new opponent for the Carranger among their team: BB Koiya, Bowzock's best gardener! Signalman wonders how a gardener can fight the Carranger but he states he will first spread seeds that will bloom into flowers over the Carranger that wrap around them, then have space bees attack them to collect pollen, stinging them to death! Signalman finds the plan amusing as Gynamo tells BB Koiya to be impressed with doing so, which he does by dancing about.
At the Carranger base, Dappu continues to do research as he figures something out, immediately alerting the Carranger he figured the means to remove the gas from Signalman's body! As the team asks how, he reveals that it's a bottle of "cider soda", shocking the team as the alien states he should drink it, making him burp out the gas from his body, making everyone shocked on how easy and stupid it was! Dappu yells that who cares if it's simple or stupid, making the team finally agree. Getting an alert for the Bowzock, the Carranger transform and rush out in Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser as BB Koiya waters the flowers as he intended with the start of his plan. The Gorotsuki states he was waiting for them, stating that like a moth to a flame, the dying trees will bloom with flowers as he throws out his seeds as he plotted, but with the team avoiding them only for the two vehicles to be covered in vines and flowers binding them! As they writhe in pain, space bees fly in making Kyosuke worry that Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser will be covered in giant bee stings, making the team attempt to rip the flowers off and avoid the bees attacking them and the vehicle annoyingly! The bees soon zap their stings at the team hurting them and chasing the team as BB Koiya instructs the space bees after them; the Carranger even try their Auto Blasters but the bees avoid the shots; only being stopped when the female use the Navic Shot to kill several. Worrying for the safety of the space bees, BB Koiya fires his "Shower Beam" at the team throwing the Carranger back as Signalman soon appears, making them notice as he states he'll handle the left and BB Koiya sits down to watch. The officer rushes towards the team as Kyosuke states to leave it to him as he pulls out the cider soda asking if Signalman wants it; the officer panics as Kyosuke asks what the matter is as he punches Red Racer, shocking them as he states that the Carranger are treating the officer like a fool and suddenly summons Sirender, transforming it into battle mode as it too is corrupted as Signalman states he will crush the team and starts trying to stomp and shoot at the Carranger!
Kyosuke summons the VRV Machines with Dappu as the Carranger decide to use the VRV Fighters, Red Racer reasoning that if it's five vs. one, Signalman and Sirender will get exhausted, making him thirsty enough to drink the cider soda. The team change and face Sirender, being knocked around as the officer makes easy work of the Carranger. The team team up on Sirender in a pile as Signalman states it's not fair to fight all at once; Kyosuke states it's not over as they soon start punching him over and over pushing Sirender around as he flails about trying to deal with all the simultaneous opponents. Kyosuke sees Signalman as exhausted deciding that this is his chance as Sirender takes a rest near a building. On the roof, Kyosuke appears as a salesman of the cider soda stating that it's cold and refreshing as Signalman asks for one, the Ranger giving his business and the drink to the officer as he drinks it, making him burp up the gas and turning him back to normal, wondering why he's in Sirender as the Carranger tell him about the brainwashing gas he was under, shocking him about his state and wondering about his son as Natsumi states they also sent the cider soda to planet Police to help those infected by the gas, saving the civilization as the gases clear away from the planet. Signalman apologizes for being an idiot as the team claims he's alright and re-establish their teamwork.
On the ground, BB Koiya sees how well the team is getting along again as Zelmoda shows up wondering why he's observing, throwing over some Imocho imo youkan that he and the space bee both grow before Zelmoda departs. The Gorotsuki starts fighting Sirender and the Carranger, being overwhelmed as the officer faces against the plant master who throws an electric vine to shock him and the space bee flies into the VRV Fighters, making the team fuse into VRV Robo to stand a chance. BB Koiya and the space bee team up on Sirender as VRV Robo appears using the V Guns to shoot away the Gorotsuki and free Signalman's mecha from the vines. BB Koiya sends the space bee against Sirender, but Signalman states that even if he's a bee, enlarging without permission is against the rules as he uses his Siren Dagger to slash the space bee down and the Carranger finish the Gorotsuki off with the Victory Twister. Sirender and VRV Robo fist bump with their victory finally accomplished.
At the Kobaan Base, Ichitaro is still contemplating his hatred of Signalman as the officer finally returns, making the boy scurry away as Signalman asks for help to clean his base back up, pulling out a duster and broom to clear the dust as he laughs at how dirty his base is; the boy soon joining the officer as they reunite in friendship. The Pegasus Garage team watch from afar are the boy and officer finally reaffirm their partnership.
At the Carranger base, Dappu contemplates the evil force unlike anything he's ever realized potentially targeting Earth. On the Baribarian, Gynamo likewise contemplates Signalman becoming a hero again and even Zonnette shows embarrassment while the president states he has no guts. Near the Bowzock base, the mysterious gold-faced giant contemplates Signalman's return to heroism but states it's alright since he will conquer "Earsh" with his own power next time.
