Infiltration! CRIME Fortress Island (潜入! クライム要塞島 Sennyū! Kuraimu Yōsai-tō) is the thirty-fourth and penultimate episode of J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai. This is the first part of the two-part series finale.

Synopsis[]

Goro and Karen invade CRIME's fortress island just as Shine's most powerful general enacts their greatest scheme for controlling the Earth.

Plot[]

Nonsense! The commander of CRIME is me, Iron Claw
Shine tells Iron Claw to consider Icarus' orders as his orders
The Operation Stardust is a plan to move Earth closer to planet Shine
Icarus explains about Operation Stardust as the rocket booster activates itself on the globe

At CRIME Fortress Island, a Crimer explains the kind of this plan to install these huge rocket boosters inside CRIME Fortress Island, as Iron Claw admits he's just follow the plan as Shine commanded. Another Crimers tells Iron Claw to get back of his chair, but the command of CRIME Great King Icarus sits on his chair, acting as the commander of CRIME, as Iron Claw denies because he's still the commander, asking to move. Icarus denies, as Iron Claw tries to execute him, Shine appears, warning Iron Claw to understand and consider Icarus' orders as his orders. He understands, as he told by Shine to work with Icarus, continuing with Operation Stardust. Icarus explains what Operation Stardust is, a plan to move Earth closer to planet Shine in the Second Galaxy System so that he may colonize it, and soon Earth will become a moon of Shine, so that's why Icarus built those massive powerful rocket boosters. An alarm rings, alerting that Sky Ace is approaching just in patrol, as Iron Claw orders to shoot that plane, and if the enemy gets too close, taking them out as their strategy.

Sakurai and Karen rides Sky Ace rights to Sky Point 0273 of CRIME Fortress Island, satisfying how the ocean is prettier today. Daichi seems it must be nice for them two having fun in the sky, as Sakurai feels like flying all the way to Mediterranean, loving Karen and could taking a trip to an Island in the Aegean someday, and Karen hopes that day for a trip to Aegean comes, praying to enjoy a peace. When they are going to enjoy the sky, the Devil Sharks approaching to shoot Sky Ace, as Sakurai won't forfeit for launching Sky Rocketter, destroying Devil Sharks. Karen advises the Sky Ace is run out of fuel, so they must return to JAKQ HQ for retreat, as Sakurai claims CRIME must have shot the fuel tank. Seeming Sky Ace has run away, though three Devil Sharks were shot down, Iron Claw claims this was a loss for CRIME, but Icarus won't let him to meddle his strategies. The crippled Sky Ace made it back to JAKQ HQ to have its fuel tank repaired by ISSIS mechanics. Sakurai reports to Banba that it will be 2 days until the repairs are completed, while Daichi thinks Sakurai and Karen dream about couple vacation to Aegean Sea, claiming that something has shot from below at Sky Point 0273. Higashi then shows, Sky Point 0273 is likely a CRIME Fortress Island, and that's why they evaded the radar, launching from there, leading them to investigate.

Sakurai and Karen goes investigating CRIME Fortress Island, and this time they ride by a boat, thinking if it's a fortress, they could attack at all cost, as they speaks how they disguise as fishermen then. As Icarus detects the two JAKQ, he decides to ensure the Operation Stardust succeds in a crucial times, ordering to sink a boat. Jumping from the boat, the two JAKQ dives through the sea, going to infiltrate CRIME Fortress Island, dodging CRIME's bullets and shots, as Sakurai smashes a machinegun from CRIME, but Karen was injured on her left thigh. Sakurai then carries Karen walking, as he admits that was CRIME Fotress Island, and she has to destroy it at all cost, but he can't allow her with that injury, as she seems will be fine soon, leading them to slow down the infiltration, if he's not back in 30 minutes, they must leave the island. Sneaking into the top of the fortress' entry, he spots many Crimers guarding until he jumps, grabbing and fighting the Crimers. The Crimers see the death of a guardian Crimer, as Sakurai escapes and sneaks into CRIME's Operation Room, even possibly CRIME continues a plan for the rocket boosters on Earth to move it through space. Icarus appears, showing his plan is continuing nicely, but Sakurai won't let Icarus to do something so crazy, catching Icarus, then disappears, commencing to launch some anethetic gas on him.

Karen, seeming just have been over 40 minutes, stating something is wrong must have happened to Sakurai, while moving in injury, and she falls with Big One comes to help her, mentioning Sakurai has been captured in CRIME Fortress Island as CRIME's HQ, complaining to get through the front will be tough, but Big One certains JAKQ will get in through the ventilation system, as only option to infiltrate, but Karen will risk her life to do that mission to save Sakurai. Big One carries Karen to CRIME HQ, as Iron Claw detects his sworn enemy beheading into him, leading him to change into his warrior form, Warrior Iron Claw, with the claws begin to target Big One, revealing himself when Big One and Karen go to fight Iron Claw's Crimers, while Big One orders Karen to run away. Iron Claw jumps, declaring if Karen can run whenever she wants, but she won't escape CRIME Island. Karen runs, but she was injured again by CRIME's bullets, falling into the pit where she has to save Sakurai. Back to Big One's fight with Iron Claw, Icarus casts the Squid Rings, so Big One can't move even in trouble, as Icarus come to interfere, as he told many times by him who breaks the ring to let Big One escape. Icarus reprimands Iron Claw, but he wants to defeat him, even calling Big One as a damn, as Icarus went against him.

Returning to JAKQ HQ, Banba feels a pain while retreated by Agents 9 and 10, claiming that CRIME Fortress Island is a nightmare, even Sakurai was captured, and Karen was ran into the jungle. Daichi contemplates if they could fly Sky Ace, they could go and attack. Hime comes to offer some freshly made ramen to Higashi and Daichi, but he denies Hime's offer, because this is no time for eating ramen, and even curry. At CRIME Island, Karen walks alone, stating she has to save Sakurai, remembering her visions when Karen and her father were caught in accident from that fiery car crash so long ago, as she saved by Sakurai, owing him her life, until she sneaks into CRIME Operations Room where Sakurai has been captured for a cyborg structure study, as ordered by CRIME, jumping into the Crimers, and fights, saving Sakurai when the Crimers were alerted to track and recapture him, leading the two jumps out of CRIME HQ. Reporting to a Crimer that Karen had taken Sakurai, he orders once more, even proclaiming they really think they can run from us on this tiny island. The Crimers continue to track and search for the two JAKQ, but Karen appears behind him, hitting the Crimers, then taking the motorcycle with Sakurai until they fall into the river. With Sakurai regains his consciousness, Karen seems that's CRIME Fortress Island, where they put a hypnotic gas on Sakurai as she finally saved him even CRIME targets them both.

Icarus continues their search and find Sakurai and Karen no matter what, but a Crimers said both they has been dead recently, claiming him as a fool. Sakurai and Karen continue walking, as a key to stop Operation Stardust, until they hide from Icarus' sight when CRIME continues to search both of them. Upon detecting their blood, Icarus keeps ordering CRIME to search and find everywhere until they are found. When Sakurai tries to walk with Karen, she was shot by Crimers' bullets, as Sakurai won't let her to die due to injuries, but he could never leave her behind; a Crimers reports to Icarus that Sakurai and Karen have been found, proclaiming there's no way they'll make it off this island. Walking with her injuries, Karen ensures his trust to Sakurai once again, even Sakurai grabs an injured Karen out of CRIME Island, relieving and healing Karen's injury from the herb to stop bleeding, as she dreams wanting to go with him at Aegean Island, a place of the Blue Sea and a White Boat, until Karen dies in an injury and Icarus finally found them both. Sakurai and Karen are in danger! The duo are at the brink of death! Do they have chance of escaping?!

  • Goro and Karen are seen in scuba outfits even though they were not wearing any when they jumped off the boat.
  • The production crew can be seen reflecting off the strips on Sokichi's suit when he saves Karen.

  • Viewership: 7.4%
  • This is the first episode in Super Sentai where not every Ranger appears transformed throughout the duration of the episode. Only Banba appears in this episode transformed as Big One; the other four J.A.K.Q. remain as themselves for the entire episode's length.
  • Goro and Karen's attraction to each other in this episode mirrored real life events, as both actors had started dating.
  • First appearance of Iron Claw's warrior form.
