This article is about an episode in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger.

Ep. 33: Choose Your World! The Ultimate Final Sword! (世界を選べ！究極最終剣！ Sekai o Erabe! Kyūkyoku Saishū Ken!) is the thirty-third episode of No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. It features the debut of the RyoTegaSword and TegaSword GozyuWolf, as well as four combinations of Queen TegaJune with copied TegaSword Rings.

Synopsis[]

The Calamity, Bellum, and Rei have put the Gozyugers in a big pinch...! In response, the petrified "Final Sword" appears in front of Hoeru. As a test of the sword, Hoeru is asked by TegaSword to choose one of two worlds: the world he lives in now, or the world without TegaSword, where Hoeru is happy with his brother Hisamitsu, not his parents or "Kuon". TegaSword tells Hoeru, "If you choose the world without me, the Calamity will disappear." What will Hoeru choose at the crossroads of fate...!?

Plot[]

The episode begins with Mashiro telling the other Gozyugers about when he used fight Bellum and sealed him, which Ryugi recalls Pestis. The champion also informs them that they will keep reviving, taking advantage of weak hearts, like prey; and that since Rei was afflicted with an illness and lost his dream, he was an easy target for Bellum and he became Bellum's host. Mashiro tells them that one member can destroy a planet and if they were to revive the Calamity’s boss, nobody knows what might happen next. Meanwhile, a house on the street, Hoeru is doing another part-time job as a deliveryman, delivering a package to the house, until he realises that this was his house where his parents and family didn't recognise him. When Hoeru's mom opened the door, she was happy a delivery came as the kids run into the house with joy. Hoeru drops the package and leaves, happy to see that his mom is doing well and that he cannot come back. Suddenly, the outcast feels a strange sensation in his brain, showing him images as he appears at Robo Graveyard again before hearing TegaSword's voice when asked why he was there. Hoeru claims he saw a sword in his mind and TegaSword claims that it needs to fight the Calamity as it glows.

In Rei's hideout, Bellum is telling a weakened Rei that he hasn't got enough time and needs to release his hatred because he's not the only one suffering. Just then, he absorbs the Kyuranger Sentai Ring into his Infinity Ring, bringing his total to four (Magiranger, Zenkaiger, Zyuohger, and Kyuranger). All of a sudden, the ring turns evil and black and uses it to summon a new monster, Temuno. On a roof, Fire Candle meets with Bouquet and asks each other if they have found Mr. Shining Knife. Bouquet is aware of how Mrs. Sweet Cake died and doesn't want Shining Knife to rampage and torment himself again, wondering why Kuon didn't do anything. At the Ring Case Castle Hall, Queen TegaJune is punishing Kuon for disobeying her. She tells him that he has doubts and those doubts are something she doesn't possess and that is why she chose him, but she doesn't allow betrayal. Meanwhile, Temuno is rampaging near a warehouse and killing the workers before the Gozyugers arrive and Rei informs them that his ring has evolved and it was able to summon Temuno, a strong swordsman and follower of Bellum. Rei's wish is Bellum's wish and whoever Temuno kills will be absorbed into Rei's new ring and that will be used to revive Cladis before summoning past Sentai Foot Soldiers (Zolohs, Jinmmers, Ular Soldiers, Batsuler Soldiers, and Orgets) to attack the Gozyugers. The Gozyugers waste no more time and the 5 of them engage and transform while fighting Rei's footsoldiers.

Hoeru returns home

With Hoeru, TegaSword tells him that the sword he saw is the Final Sword and that no one has managed to pull it out yet. He tells the stray that he saw it so he was chosen to wield it as a test. Just then, the sword lights up and Hoeru is in front of his house. Hoeru's mom opens the door and welcomes Hoeru back. Hoeru is very confused but follows and sees that there is dinner being set up. Hoeru is surprised to see his father and his brother, Hisamitsu. The outcast then sees pictures of him and his family before his mom announces that Hoeru's favorite dish, hamburger steaks were being made. With delight, Hoeru comes and sits down with his reunited family and joins them with the feast, TegaSword catches a glimpse of this from the window and is happy to see this.

With the others, they are still fighting Temuno and are being overwhelmed by his power. Kinjiro uses the Kyoryuger Sentai Ring and uses his Gaburivolver to summon the Gabutyra Fang to help him, Ryugi, and Mashiro fight against Temuno, while Rikuo uses the Gaoranger Sentai Ring to combine the Gao Mane Buster with his LeonBuster50 and Sumino uses the Ryusoulger Sentai Ring to use the Dino Slash to finish off all the Foot Soldiers. Sumino then sees Rei and demands her sister Oto back. Rei tells that the more she becomes desperate, the more mean he will get. Petrified, Sumino charges at the grey-eyed guy before he also engages into MagiRed to take on Sumino and the others. While fighting Rei, Rikuo asks him why he would do such a thing. Rei tells him again that no one can save him and he can't save anyone too and claims the world shouldn't be saved either, before engaging and becoming Zenkaizer Black. He claims he and the world have a death wish, before finishing Rikuo off causing him to de-transform. One-by-one the other Gozyugers are also being finished off by Rei and Temuno and also de-transform from their power.

Hoeru at his crossroads

TegaSword gives Hoeru two choices

Back at Hoeru's house he is playing football with his big brother and claims he will not lose his brother in it as he's the ace player. Hisamitsu claims he has gotten a lot of things that him personally didn't have before, like being serious over a hamburger steak. Hoeru suddenly messes up his kick-ups and his older tells him he's still the No.1 in kick-ups. Just then, Hoeru hears TegaSword's voice saying No.1, No.1. Hoeru then appears in front of TegaSword where he gives him two choices. A - the original world with his Gozyuger friends or B - the world he is in with his family, without TegaSword, who shows him a flashback of the previous great battle against the Calamity. Hoeru is in confusion, which to choose from, he sees his family wanting him back and he sees his friends struggling to defeat Temuno and Rei and need his help. He asks TegaSword what will happen to his friends, to which he answers that the world without him would mean the Calamity also disappearing. Hoeru without TegaSword, the other Gozyugers' wishes are gone. He apologizes to his family and decides to choose the original world with his friends, reminiscing the times they had with each other. Saying that if their wishes are gone, he'll happily become a stray again. TegaSword tells him if he is not there, Hoeru can be happy again. Hoeru claims TegaSword doesn't decide his happiness, he'll make his own path and tries to pull the sword out with no avail. TegaSword claims if he can't pull out the sword his desire isn't strong enough. Hoeru claims him and TegaSword are collaborators and asks for his help. Moved by his words, TegaSword, without hesitation, helps him and the both of them pull out the sword together.

Meanwhile with the others, they are still fighting off Temuno and Rei and still being overpowered. Temuno aims at the weakened Gozyugers and tries to finish them off but just then, Hoeru comes and stops the attack with the RyoTegaSword. Hoeru tells them to leave the rest to him, before engaging and becoming the powerful, strong and the peak TegaSword GozyuWolf! Suddenly, TegaSword's voice is heard from within Hoeru claiming that he and Hoeru possess this power together as one. Mashiro is stunned by this, claiming they've fused and Ryugi is jealous by this. Hoeru announces Temuno as his prey and the Swordsman No.1 Battle begins! Hoeru begins to fight the footsoldiers one-by-one overpowering each one of them before battling with Temuno, using the Shinkenger Sentai Ring to use the Many Fires Profusion used by Shinken Red's Rekka Daizantou, before using his finisher on Temuno, winning the Swordsman No.1 Battle! Bellum takes over Rei and notices that TegaSword has a new power before becoming giant.

TegaJune descends into battle

TegaJune awakens and doesn't like how the Calamity has wounded her children, and announces that he will pay with his life. TegaJune and Bellum have a brawl. She uses copied versions of each of the Gozyuger's rings to overpower Bellum. Just then, Bellum claims the path of the Cladis is the noble path and instead, finishes TegaJune off as she crashes into multiple buildings, to Fire Candle and Bouquet's horror. Both TegaJune and Bellum escape.

Hoeru accepts his new life

Hoeru decides to choose his current life over his original life

Hoeru once again arrives at his house to deliver a package to his family, bringing pizza for his family. He tells his little brother to share the pizza with their parents. Just as Hoeru is about to leave, his mom stops him and tells him she remembers him from somewhere and asks if he's going to come back so that they can treat him to tea. Happy, he claims that he'll visit them again one day and leaves. When Hoeru's dad checks up on his mom, she hesitates a little and Hoeru walks off as the episode ends.
