It's a Full Model Change! VRV Robo (フルモデルチェンジだ!VRVロボ Furu Moderu Chenji da! Bui Aru Bui Robo) is the thirty-first episode of Gekiso Sentai Carranger. It is the conclusion of the three-part showdown featuring the final battles with RitchiRitchihiker and Braking, introducing the new VRV Robo mecha combination.
Synopsis[]
VRV Master continues to train the Carranger to fully utilize the potential of their new mechs, which they must complete on their own before their climactic battle with RitchiRitchihiker and his upgraded Braking.
Plot[]
At a temple the Carranger are praying; with Kyosuke prays for RV Robo's safety with the others. Meanwhile on the Baribarian, Instructor RitchiRitchihiker is rebuilding Braking cursing the Carranger wondering how they got the VRV Machines that defeated his mecha. He states he will teach them a lesson next he sees them with a "Rebuilt Braking". Grotch comes by with intel on the Carranger's new arsenal, revealing his information on the VRV Machines as RitchiRitchihiker recognizes VRV Master.
On Earth, VRV Master briefly removes his helmet to look after Dappu as the Carranger return to base and he puts it back on. The team states they're worried; they know they can fight Braking with the VRV Machines but know RitchiRitchihiker will challenge them with a tougher strategy, wondering what they can do. VRV Master states the answer is in "the park".
At the park, the five Rangers are playing volleyball all of a sudden; VRV Master says "play without complaining" and he'll treat them when they're done; wondering what it is, the master tells them to pay attention to the ball and not drop it. Natsumi wonders what volleyball has to do with fighting RitchiRitchihiker; he tells them to "push the red switch" and leaves, confusing everyone on what he means and making them more worried. Natsumi asks about playing more volleyball as Minoru more wonders what "treat" VRV Master is offering them.
At a pachinko bar, VRV Master plays stating "pachinko contains all the rules of the universe". Without warning, Zonnette appears as a servicewoman calling for Gynamo working the cashier; she wonders how long they're doing this; regardless of how rotten it is, he's still the Bowzock leader. Gynamo states they have to wait for the right time, no matter when that is but they need to eat some barbecue to strengthen their bodies, Zonnette only accepting if they add in kimchi. VRV Master appears to exchange his winnings, Gynamo approaching as he gives him another bag of goods. Once finishing pachinko, VRV Master eats a bowl of tokoroten, then go to the barber shop as part of his "Earsh" routine; getting "the usual" from the barber but knowing he isn't the usual guy while knowing that the real one is much more unfriendly and quiet. The barber reveals himself as RitchiRitchihiker; VRV Master asks where he is as he reveals the barber is captured and the instructor introduces himself; VRV Master rips the card up stating the worse a person is, the more likely they hand over a business card. RitchiRitchihiker ties VRV Master in chains and starts whipping him.
In the park, the Carranger grow tired wondering how long they keep playing and what VRV Master's "treat" is despite being better; but Kyosuke states they haven't found an excuse to stop it. The Bowzock alarm goes off and the team transforms as RitchiRitchihiker continues his assault on VRV Master wondering who he is and how he's connected to the Carranger. The master states he has no reason to explain it to a crook as he keeps getting whipped; Grotch and Zelmoda appear to stop their leader stating if he's whipped too much, he will die, forcing restraint from RitchiRitchihiker and forcing them to take him hostage, just in case. The Carranger soon arrive in Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser, the former firing a laser as they approach the villains and wondering what they want with VRV Master. RitchiRitchihiker states he can't tell them as Zelmoda releases the Wumpers, forcing the Rangers to fight against them in combat. After they're defeated, RitchiRitchihiker releases Rebuilt Braking, appearing in the city as he states their luck has run out as he fires eye beams that blast the team. Kyosuke soon summons the Victrailer and the team summon the VRV Machines and head to face the giant.
The VRV Machines begin their combat, V-Fire firing water again as RitchiRitchihiker states it won't work; V-Dozer and V-Dump try to attack the feet but Braking hits it, then uses the King Slugger mohawk blade to attack V-Police and V-Rescue. Seeing V-Fire approaching, RitchiRitchihiker shows off VRV Master in a cage, stating he they can't attack him with a hostage and offers to show the power of Rebuilt Braking as he fires a massive bomb bullet blowing up the VRV Machines! Wondering what to do when figuring how to deal with the hostage, Kyosuke sees a "red switch" on his VRV Machine realizing VRV Master wasn't lying about his strategy. The team join in pushing the same button, making all the VRV Machines form-change into robots; V-Fire attacks Rebuilt Braking to retake VRV Master and lowers him to the ground to safety as the leader states they are the "VRV Fighter": Fire Fighter, Police Fighter, Dump Fighter, Dozer Fighter and Rescue Fighter. Stating he will now show his real power, RitchiRitchihiker faces them as he fires his eyebeams at them, attacking all the VRV Fighters at the same time and withstanding their attacks and slapping them around, even transforming V-Police back to a vehicle before Naoki uses the Police Fighter Kick on him; the girls soon following with their own combo attacks and Minoru slamming into Rebuilt Braking with his own attacks before being stomped only to turn back into V-Dump to trip him. Rebuild Braking fires at Fire Fighter until Kyosuke changes back to V-Fire to close in, then changes back as he catches another bomb fired by Rebuilt Braking. Red Racer realizes that the volleyball practice was to train when the VRV Machines became VRV Fighters as a teamwork attack. VRV Master tells them to show what they learned from their training as the VRV Fighters head into combat surrounding Rebuilt Braking and begin a volleyball attack between each others as Fire Fighter attacks and smashes the bomb blowing up Rebuilt Braking!
Satisfied with their progress, VRV Master orders the team to use the "blue switch", confusing them as he states they'll figure it out. The five push it and the five VRV Machines begin to transform, merging together into one massive mecha, shocking RitchiRitchihiker! VRV Master announces the vehicle mecha as "VRV Robo" and summons the "Victory Twister" giving the Victrailer's weapons to the massive mecha as they activate the finisher, pummeling RitchiRitchihiker as he pronounces the Carranger as incredibly strong as both he and Braking explode, destroying both in the process.
At the Yakuniku BBQ, Zonnette pronounces their meal as delicious as Gynamo tells her to eat as much as she wants. As they eat, the TV news announces the Carranger's defeat of RitchiRitchihiker, shocking Gynamo and Zonnette!
Later as the sun sets, the Carranger realize the treat VRV Master was to show them, their new mecha and their victory. Natsumi states that VRV Master is a tad conceited but Yoko proclaims he's alright as he watches them from behind stating the sunset on Earth is too bright.
