Synopsis[]
As the Kakuranger prepare to destroy the Seal Door to prevent Daimaou's arrival on Earth, they are suddenly confronted by the Yokai's tactician, who has a very close relation to Tsuruhime.
Plot[]
With the Hidden Scrolls in hand, the Kakuranger return to Wind Illusion Castle, where Sandayuu tells them to destroy the Seal Door to close the path between the worlds and prevent Daimaou from resurrecting and turn the people turned to stone back to normal.
In the city with the Siimaabandha base flying overhead, the Kakuranger approach, transforming before being stopped by Junior telling them to stand back and that it's too late, with Daimaou's footsteps approaching with the arrival into this world. Sasuke states it's not over until he's passed through, the five revealing their Ninja Beast Gods but Junior declaring the end of the war as he becomes his true Gashadokuro form. Saizou attacks first slashing the general with Seikai smashing the ground, Jiraiya throwing Gammer Fire, Tsuruhime the Flying Beam and Sasuke attacking with his twin swords. He tells the team to destroy the Seal Door; but a masked warrior asks Daimaou to grant him power, which he uses to stop the Beast Gods and throw the Kakuranger back to the ground. The warrior approaches the team with Sasuke asking who he is, the warrior revealing himself as Hakumenrou, Daimaou's strategist. Hakumenrou states it's too late to stop Daimaou's resurrection and to stand back; Sasuke throws a shuriken at his mask, removing it and revealing a face familiar to Tsuruhime as her deceased father! The warrior confirms that he is Tsuruhime's father but attacks to prevent her from getting close, making the Kakuranger surround her as he backs away and departs.
Later, Tsuruhime tries to state she can't believe that this new warrior is her father; Sasuke states that Tsuruhime's father died when she was seven years old, but Sandayuu confirms that it is him. He states that ten years prior when they were researching the Yokai, they discovered Daimaou in the Dark World and realized that if Daimaou stepped into this world, it would be a disaster. Thus her father decided to act before something happened, taking the boys Taro and Jiro on a journey; Saizou asks who those boys are and Tsuruhime recalls them as sons of a servant of Tsuruhime's father; their parents died when they were young and were raised as Tsuruhime like her real brothers. Yet in the midst, all three were captured by the Yokai: Taro and Jiro went missing while Tsuruhime's father stated the only way to save his own life was to join the Yokai. Sasuke wonders why it took Sandayuu to reveal this; the mentor states that her father betrayed humanity and he couldn't bear the thought of Tsuruhime finding out the truth. Upset, Tsuruhime runs off and cries, not believing that her father is part of the Yokai army.
Within the Yokai Mansion, Professor Yugami sees Junior complaining to Hakumenrou about his move, stating he would have defeated the Kakuranger on his own without his interference! The warrior tries to apologize but Junior shuts him up; stating he thanks him for all his service to the Yokai over the last ten years but that his loyalty remains with humanity in the end, which he accuses as his reason for stopping him. However a voice states that Junior disappoints him, with the face of Daimaou appearing within a ball in the lab, stating he doesn't admit his own failures with the Kakuranger and tries to put his blame on Hakumenrou is pathetic. Junior states he can't trust the human not knowing his intentions, but Daimaou breathes fire at him with the lord stating Hakumenrou pledged allegiance to him and they' all knew what would happen if he betrayed them. Daimaou reaffirms Junior that the tactician will not pull anything; but Junior remains upset that a human is ahead of him in the group despite him being the successor! Daimaou merely states there's one day prior to his resurrection and to be patient until then before vanishing. Junior stops Hakumenrou from leaving, stating that his father can't see the truth but he can't be fooled and that if he wants to be proven wrong, bring the Kakuranger down and he'll believe him, which the tactician agrees to before leaving. As he goes, Junior asks Yugami to invent the most magnificent weapon the world has ever seen which the scientist agrees to; Junior then states he'll get him if he betrays them.
Elsewhere, Sandayuu rushes through the woods, hearing a crowing before he sees Hakumenrou before him; the warrior giving him a request. Back at Nekomaru, Seikai asks what they can do for Tsuruhime as Jiraiya wonders how her father would be with the Yokai; but Saizou reminds them the greater worry remains the Seal Door and Daimaou's advent. Sasuke tells them to go and that the four can handle destroying the door while Tsuruhime can be left alone. However before they go, Tsuruhime notices a voice, heading away towards the roof of a building where she hears them surrounding her and looks at her Promise Bracelet, remembering Ryota and Keiko once again. Sasuke asks what's going on, as Tsuruhime mentions she can hear all the people trapped in stone screaming for help, hearing the agony as they continue to scream in their prisons. Tsuruhime states she's responsible for her task: even if her father is with the Yokai, they're Kakuranger and they have to help the people struggling at this time as they charge out.
As the team rush to the rescue, Hakumenrou confronts them again, Tsuruhime calling to her father as the warrior claims that Junior wants him to take their lives. Sasuke tells her to run but Tsuruhime has to fight even if it's her father; but Sasuke states they can't let her do that. The warrior charges as the four male Kakuranger transform, attacking the warrior; NinjaRed uses the Flaming Whirlwind but Hakumenrou returns it. At the same time, Sandayuu and Bun watch with the dogs behind them; the mentor stating the battle has started and orders Bun to do as ordered while the Kakuranger are being trounced with ease by the great warrior. Cornered by a waterfall, Tsuruhime yells at her father but Hakumenrou prepares for the final attack, firing an attack as Sasuke throws Tsuruhime away and the quartet fall into the water below, the ninja female yelling for them as they vanish! Hakumenrou once again removes his mask as Tsuruhime says she won't forgive her father for doing this, transforming to fight and charges towards him; the two clash swords as she calls for her father but is hit down; all while Junior is watching Hakumenrou and Tsuruhime's fight. Meanwhile at the Seal Door, Daimaou continues to draw closer to release while father and daughter continue their tragic battle.
