Synopsis[]
Shoji tries to redeem himself after he fails to stop a boy from being abducted for a Gorma sacrifice ceremony.
Plot[]
RyuRanger battles Baron String on the RyuseiOh. RyuseiOh transforms into its Mythical Qi Warrior form, as the remaining four Dairangers board the cockpit. RyuseiOh defeats Baron String using the Great Windmill Slice attack.
Meanwhile, in the city, Zydos unleashes Purse Priest from a sack, with it being excited at its freedom.
At a boxing club, Shoji was sparring when he was knocked down, a boy named Kenbo is there to encourage him. They head to a nearby basketball court, where Kenbo watches men playing basketball. The ball was thrown out of court, and as Kenbo heads to grab it, it flies into the hand of a basketball player in black clothes. The ball becomes a red buddha head, and he throws it at the boy, and it attaches onto the boy's head. He cries out for help, and as Shoji runs after the basketball player, he disappears and Purse Priest appears. Shoji transforms into TenmaRanger, and battles the Gorma. Purse Priest performs the Gama Dunk attack, and TenmaRanger tries to deflect it with the Star Inversion Wave technique, but failed and was defeated.
The five Dairangers were called by Master Kaku, and they meet up. Kaku informs a new Gorma has appeared and is gathering victims as sacrifices for a wicked ceremony called Niidoro Buudoro. The ceremony is a celebration of the Gorma's revival, and five individuals who are pure of heart are offered as sacrifices. Kaku sends out the Dairangers except for Shoji, who was asked to stay behind. Master Kaku explains why his technique to deflect the Gorma's attacks didn't work. Master Kaku then has Shoji train at the base.
Meanwhile, Rin was being followed by Cotpotros. As Purse Priest captures more victims, Rin chases after him. Rin was then ambushed, and captured by the Gorma.
Shoji runs out after the Gorma in search of Rin, and finds the ceremony site. He sneaks in against Master Kaku's orders and watches the ceremony unfold. Rin was selected as the first sacrifice, and as Purse Priest, now dressed as an executioner, almost executes her, Shoji dives through the window and interrupted the ceremony. Shoji steals a sword from a Cotpotros, and cuts open the Gama Mask on Rin's head. They both fight the Gorma, and free the victims. As they are knocked down by the Gorma generals, the remaining three Dairangers appear and saves them. Gara, Shadam and Zydos teleport away, while Purse Priest attempts to escape on foot. Shoji and Rin transform, and they manage to intercept the escaping Gorma.
They fight the Gorma, with TenmaRanger focusing on Purse Priest. Purse Priest tried to use the Gama Dunk attack on him, but he uses Qi Power to dodge them and retaliates with a Revolving Kicks attack. As Purse Priest is about to throw an Enlargement Bomb to grow giant, the Dairangers stop him from doing so with their Dairen Rods. Purse Priest was destroyed using the Qi Power Bomber.
As Shoji trains with Kenbo, he runs into Rin. Shoji returns an earring to Rin, and she watches them train.
