Assemble!! The Choriki Sentai (集結！！超力戦隊 Shūketsu!! Chōriki Sentai) is the second episode of Choriki Sentai Ohranger. It continues Ohranger's opening arc with the creation of the four remaining members of the squadron after the previous introduction of OhRed, leading to the full formation of the Sentai team.
Synopsis[]
The four new Ohranger learn from Gorou and Commander Miura about the power they are now entrusted with as Baranoia sends down a giant to continue their rampage of Tokyo.
Plot[]
Despite Gorou defeating BaraDrill, Baranoia did not notice as they began a full-scale invasion of Earth destroying Tokyo with a massive attack and sending down Acha and Kocha to present a message. The butlers state that they have presented multiple requests for surrender from the planet but have yet to hear any reply and that thus, Baranoia will henceforth send force to force the planet under their thumb under the direct orders of emperor Bacchus Wrath.
In a UA helicopter, Yuji asks about the current status as Gorou states the invaders are causing massive destruction. Momo orders that they head to a United Airforce base while Juri wonders where he's taking them as the helicopter heads into the mountains. Once there, the quartet arrive at "their new base" as he explains the Ohranger as an "anti-Baranoia defense force"; with the world powers contributing massive funds to build this facility and the five of them are essential personnel to defeating the machines, with them fighting until Baranoia is defeated. When Shouhei asks why they couldn't just fight the machines with the rest of UA, Gorou explains that the problem is "science", explaining that Earth's current science can't defeat them and that they need a power of unprecedented magnitude to stand against them, which is here; Juri remembering Gorou as OhRed wondering what the captain transformed into.
Gorou takes the four to Colonel Miura, where he's introduced to the new team. Gorou explains Miura is a leader in the fields of engineering and archaeology and the founder of the Ohranger organization. Miura states they're the best pilots in the UA with excellent teamwork, thus why they were recruited into the Ohranger project. Taking them into an elevator, he asks them about "Pangaea", the ancient continent from 600 million years prior in the Earth's Cambrian period and explaining how the continent was eventually moved by tectonic plates to the current continents of the planet. Miura explains there were no humans at the time on the planet...or so they thought: there were humans that had an incredible civilization while taking them 15 floors beneath the surface revealing an ancient set of buildings. Miura claims the oldest known civilization was Mesopotamia, which were only six-thousand years prior; thus the idea there was a civilization six-hundred million years prior was shocking. He states that Pangaea had one civilization prior, and when the continent split, so did the civilization. Shouhei wonders what this has to do with them, but Miura calls him impatient while stating that those who built the Pangaea civilization possessed a power unknown to modern times: Choriki. Taking them to another part of the ruins, he tells them to enter the control room, showing them a device that gathers, amplifies and emits geomagnetism, geothermal heat and other natural Earth energy using structures like what they witnessed to further accelerate the development of their civilization. Gorou adds that through years of research, Miura was able to successfully able to replicate the structure, with the leader stating that he calls this power "Choriki", the super-power of the super-civilization which they can use to fight Baranoia.
As the phone rings, Gorou discovers that a giant enemy has started an attack on Tokyo, revealing a massive being known as Bara Saucer rampaging about throwing debris and attacking humans in the streets while lifting buildings and smashing them into the ground! Seeing a bus of kindergartners, Bara Saucer picks it up trapping a teacher and several teachers making them fear their death. Hysteria and Buldont celebrate while Bacchus Wrath considers this a glorious monument to commemorate their conquest of the Earth. Hysteria hears the screams of humanity, stating they makes a beautiful melody that stirs her soul as Buldont yells for more chaos.
At the Ohranger headquarters, Miura states they have no time and asks the quarter to stand in front of the pyramid as Gorou forces them. The colonel states they used the Choriki to develop power suits but to use them, their bodies must be altered accordingly. Gorou states he's already undergone the alteration as the colonel flips a switch, making the energy fly upwards and hitting the quartet, making them see bizarre visions of the ancient structures.
In the city, the teacher and kindergartners yell to be saved from Bara Saucer's monument as it continues to rampage. The five Ohranger soon ride into the city on their bikes seeing the trapped children, transforming into their Power Suits and announcing themselves to the Baranoia forces as the Choriki Sentai Ohranger. The Barlo Soldiers show confusion seeing them as the Ohranger begin to fight them, knocking them around with their enhanced strength and abilities as they're able to knock them around with ease. When confronted by spears, they use the Battle Sticks to knock them away, then the King Blasters to attack and destroy from far. Hysteria shows shock seeing the new warriors defeating their army as Bacchus Wrath tells Bara Saucer to destroy them. The five Ohranger are chased by a massive ball sent by the Machine Beast, as they notice a fire approaching the trapped civilians. Gorou tells OhBlue, OhYellow and OhPink to save the civilians while he and OhGreen attack with their weapons but with Gorou lifted by the giant. Yuji, Juri and Momo crash into the bus, saving the teacher and children while OhRed is thrown into a building and shot at before OhBlue shoots back before they're forced to the ground and attacked by cars thrown by the giant. Telling the civilians to escape, the children tell the team to do their best while they reveal their main weapons: the Star Riser, Square Crusher, Delta Tonfa, Twin Baton and Circle Defenser, the team leaping and attacking the giant from multiple points but with Gorou nearly being thrown off until he swings on a tendril and stabs it in the eyes. The Ohranger attack it piece by piece until they are thrown off, allowing the team to form the Big Bang Buster with their weapons to finally destroy Bara Saucer. Seeing the heroes, Hysteria screams as she feels pain from the actions of the Ohranger, with even Bacchus Wrath unsure what's going on and Buldont yelling at Acha and Kocha wondering who they are and throwing Kocha into a gear making it dizzy. From the confusion, Bacchus orders all forces away from the planet at once.
On Earth, the Ohranger untransform as the four new members fall to the ground in pain while Gorou shakes his head from the sweat of victory. Shouhei complains about his body in pain, but Gorou states he was like this at first too due to how much stamina is used for the transformation and they must only transform when necessary. Asking if his teammates are alright, they comply.
Bacchus Wrath discovers the Ohranger as Acha confirms they were created specifically to oppose the Baranoia threat in some new power. Hysteria notes they're fearless as she and her husband declares they will show the team what happens when facing them, with the army creating one perfect machine after another to destroy Earth from within before ordering an increase in production speed.
At UAOH's base, the Ohranger stand out into the snowy wilderness at the moon, acknowledging that they will face down the Baranoia threat stationed there while Gorou acknowledges his new teammates and their mutual mission.
