Ep. 2: A King for Whose Sake (誰がための王 Ta ga Tame no Ō) is the second episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. It features the debut of Tombo Ohger, the King Speeder, Guardian Rolling and Rolling King-Ohger.
Synopsis
The country "Shugodom" where the guardian deity resides is in a pinch by the "Bug Naraku" army revived from the emperor, but it is saved by Gira, who transforms into Kuwagata Ohger. However, he is chased by Shugodom's soldiers for defying King Rcules. The one who helped Gira was the king of Nkosopa, Yanma.
Plot
Gira is surrounded by royal guards under the order of Rcules Husty. As he is ready to follow them to face the corrupt king, God Tombo steps in and snatches him away. Yanma Gast, the president of Nkosopa, brings him to his country, a high-tech land, to ask him how he activated the King-Ohger.
As they talk, Sanagims appear in Nkosopa and attack its people. Kuwagata Ohger and Tombo Ohger arrive and easily defeat the grunts, before facing Desnarak VIII, leader of the Earth Empire Bug Naraku, and his Prime Minister Kamejim. Desnarak vows to destroy humankind and demands the heroes to surrender the Shugods, which he calls "World's greatest treasures". After demonstrating his power by destroying a large part of Nkosopa, Desnarak and Kamejim leave. Facing this devastation, the citizens of Nkosopa expect assistance from the quintet alliance, but Rcules, in a broadcast statement, excludes Nkosopa from the alliance for its sheltering of Gira. The citizens then become angry with Yanma and challenge him in a hacking duel, but he single-handedly defeats them all, much to Gira's surprise.
Back at Yanma's palace, Peta Castle, Gira demands the president to hand him over to Shugodom and apologize to Rcules so that his people may be spared. Yanma points out that Gira's speech of tyranny is merely an act to get back at Rcules and he is not actually evil. At night, Douga and Boshimar arrive in Nkosopa to receive the fugitive, who is being tied up. Yanma acts like he is about to bow to Rcules as an apology, but he refuses to do it at the last moment, claiming that he bows to nobody. After Shugodom's delegates left in disappointment, Gira asks Yanma why he is ignoring his people's needs, but quickly becomes surprised when Nkosopa's citizens are actually cheering and crying for him out of respect for the fact that their leader bows to no one.
Desnarak and Kamejim briefly appear in front of the two Rangers again to summon an enlarged Bodarujim to destroy them after they once again refused to hand over their Shugods. Gira and Yanma transform and pilot Ohsama Gattai King-Ohger, who can now fly thanks to the presence of Tombo Ohger in the cockpit. King-Ohger engages the Kaijim in an aerial battle and chases it across Nkosopa's skies. Bodarujim manages to catch the heroes off guard, but just when Bodarujim shoots at them, a building, controlled by Nkosopa's hackers, suddenly raises up and shields them from the blast. Tombo Ohger tells his people to show their enemy the power of Nkosopa, while Kuwagata Ohger distracts the monster on King Speeder. The N'kosopa citizens' combined hacking efforts direct all the power in the country to King-Ohger, while Shiokara mobilizes a Guardian Rolling, which becomes a hammer for King-Ohger. Rolling King-Ohger then performs a finisher and destroys Bodarujim.
After the battle, Yanma tells Gira that class division and hierachy no longer exist in Nkosopa, and everyone there is equal. A delighted Gira then tries to recruit them to his tyrant's team. Right after Yanma told Gira that it is not happening, God Kamakiri suddenly appears, snatching both Rangers and bringing them to Ishabana.
