Behold the Miracle Fortress (見よ奇跡の要塞 Miyo Kiseki no Yōsai) is the twenty-eighth episode of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. It is the conclusion of the three-part KingRanger introductory arc, featuring more on the true nature of Dorin, the final battle with Machine Beast Tamer Keris & the combat formation of Riki's personal mecha, King Pyramider.

Synopsis[]

Unsure of the fate of Riki after his capture and believing Keris' Bara King may be him, the Ohranger prepare to fight it despite Dorin claiming that it may not be.

Plot[]

At UAOH's base, Miura asks the team about their analysis of Bara King; based on their information, they discover that there is no proof that the Machine Beast is actually KingRanger, Riki himself; but that they move and fight similarly, making Yuji believe it is him. Miura claims they have no choice: regardless of whether it's Riki or not, Bara King must be destroyed due to kidnapping five girls already and they can't permit any more sacrifices. Momo worries that they shouldn't destroy Bara King and should capture to figure out for certain but the leader states that Bara King must be destroyed.

Elsewhere, Dorin looks down at a lake; as Gorou and Juri approach her, she states she knows that the Ohranger want to destroy Bara King regardless of whether or not it's Riki; she feels it's fine since she believes Bara King isn't KingRanger and she can feel it, stating that Riki is alive but somewhere far away. At the same time within a dark cave filled with skeletal remains, the actual Riki staggers until he falls to the ground, wondering where he is. He rises and continues to wander, climbing but falling due to the gravel he walks on. Back with Dorin, a yellow bird flies to her shoulder that she caresses while animals surround her and flowers bloom in her vicinity, comforting Dorin; she states she won't lose and believes Riki will come home safe in the end. Juri sees that Dorin has the power to communicate with animals and flowers as the creature goes to the ground to cuddle a rabbit; Gorou states that for Dorin's sake, they will save Riki and the captured girls from Baranoia.

Elsewhere, the captured girls are caged as Buldont torments them stating he's going to combine these girls with animals to turn them into his pets! Keris wonders about the makings of an "elephant girl" and a "lion girl" with their abilities, making the robot boy happier. Keris claims that she's one girl short being absent Dorin, making her wonder if she should be fused with a monkey; but Buldont worries with Dorin protected by the Ohranger, making the boy robot wonder if Keris can capture her with her security, which she states she will under the promise that she becomes a high-ranking officer in Baranoia with her success as she pulls out a cage and laughs.

As a battalion of Takonpas attack the city, the Ohranger emerge to fight the invading Barlo Soldiers, Shouhei alerting Gorou of the attack before he, Juri and Dorin are suddenly attacked by more Baranoia. Gorou and Juri transform to fend them off until Dorin runs off hearing the voice of Riki from elsewhere, distracting the Ohranger and making them fall. In the cave, Paku discovers the actual unconscious Riki and pecks at him, forcing the boy warrior up making him wonder why the lizard is there until he remembers his defeat by Keris and Paku being captured. Riki asks Paku if it knows the way out of the world which the lizard creature nods, becoming guided through the cave by it.

Dorin continues to run yelling for Riki only to be confronted by the trap set by Keris with Bara King, stating she has no one to save her this time. The Machine Beast pursues the Dorin girl until the birds suddenly fly in the air, a hawk attacking both Bara King and Keris with the bird biting and clawing at them holding them off until the Ohranger show up on their bikes. Discovering the flying birds in the sky, the team realize they're guiding them to Dorin's location.

Bara King and Keris soon defeat the bird of prey but not before the Ohranger arrive; Bara King shoots them with it's staff but the team attacks them; Keris knocking OhPink off her bike until she steps on her whip while Gorou keeps hitting the Machine Beast over and over. Forced into a corner, Keris turns into her true form again and becomes a giant, but the team soon summons their Chouriki Mobiles and form Ohranger Robo to fight her off, which Keris claims she was planning for as she summons a "Gilded Cage" to trap them and electrocute the mecha where it stands, stating not even Ohranger Robo can destroy the cage! Telling Bara King to get Dorin, the Machine Beast continues pursuit as she calls for Riki. Elsewhere, the boy warrior and Paku arrive at a cliff side and a multi-colored abyss, Riki wondering if this is actually the way out upon seeing it. Hearing Dorin's cries, the two dive off the cliff into the abyss, causing an earthquake within the quarry and saving Dorin in the nick of time from Bara King, confirming that he wasn't Bara King!

The boy warrior declares to Bara King that it won't touch Dorin as he fights it off with his attacks before transforming into KingRanger and using his abilities and King Stick to hit Bara King away before striking it with the King Victory Flash. Acha and Kocha soon grow Bara King as it fires beams at Riki, making him summon King Pyramider to assist in combating it. The fortress destroys the Gilded Cage before Gorou realizes he has to save the girls while they continue to fight as a giant. Descending, OhRed fights off the protecting Barlo Soldiers and breaks their cage with the Star Riser saving the girls. As the two giants continue their approach, he summons the Red Puncher as it and Ohranger Robo continue to fight off the two machines while further having problems with Keris's whip until Ohranger Robo kicks it down. Using a nipple breeze attack to blow away the mecha, OhRed becomes surprised when he sees the "Mark of Riki" on his screen, as it appears within both Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher! Riki also sees the signal as the Tetrahedron beneath UAOH Base reacts and the mark unites around all three Superpower machines! As everyone appears confused, Miura notices that if the three "Marks of Riki" appears, a new power will emerge. At the commander's orders, KingRanger forces King Pyramider into "Carrier Formation", transforming his fortress into a giant carrier that allows for all the machines to ride together and firing a barrage that destroys Bara King! At another order, King Pyramider soon enters "Battle Formation", making it rise into a giant humanoid form which all Chouriki Mobiles fuse within and Red Puncher stands on top. With all mecha together in a giant form, the team emits the Super Legend Beam, which fires at Keris, destroying her.

After the battle, Dorin returns to a rabbit showing it off to Paku as the other Ohranger and Riki watch over her making friends. Gorou wonders what Riki will do now as the young warrior states he's here to fight off Baranoia, with Shouhei wondering if they'll be together and Momo claiming he's the 6th Ohranger; but the warrior states he's Dorin's protector and only follows Dorin's orders, claiming they have their mission and he has his. Yuji wonders why he's high and mighty about this as Juri states it isn't a big deal since they're all protecting Earth. Dorin calls on Riki to help catch the rabbit by her orders, forcing the boy to listen to the young female being's commands. As they leave, Gorou states they'll be relying on King Pyramider from here on.
