The Nonstop Home Delivery Weapon (ノンストップ宅配武器 Nonsutoppu Takuhai Buki) is the twenty-sixth episode of Gekisou Sentai Carranger. It introduces the Giga Booster, the Carrangers' second team cannon.
Synopsis[]
After accidentally sending off the Carranger's new weapon for delivery, Minoru goes on a mad chase to Hokkaido to get it back while the others try to hold firm against a Gorotsuki with an innumerable arsenal.
Plot[]
Minoru returns to Pegasus Garage as he's confronted by the other workers about "what he's done". Minoru wonders what they mean as Natsumi refers to a box left prior before slapping him and asking what he did; Minoru states that the grandmother of Mr. Hirose, their first customer, moved to Hokkaido and now has a grandchild and sent them a special cradle that he bought for it as a gift, sent first thing that morning. The other Carranger relent as Minoru thinks he did a good thing, but Kyosuke points him to a box revealed to be the very cradle; with the box he sent to Hokkaido a new weapon to deal with the more vicious Bowzock attacks, working extremely hard to devise it for the team! (Minoru being the only one who didn't work on it being the sales rep) That weapon was their new ultimate weapon: the Giga Booster, which Dappu hid in a box so Pegasus' boss wouldn't see it; but Yoko states that if a normal person tried to use it, it could cause chaos! Minoru decides to get it back as he transforms into Green Racer and picks up the cradle box; pushing Dappu out of the way as the alien wonders where he's going during a Bowzock attack, revealed to be Bowzock's best catalogue shipper: DD Donmo! Minoru wonders why the Bowzock is attacking now and rushes to try to get to the Giga Booster using Dragon Cruiser and the Car Navic to research where the weapon is discovering it Ibaraki prefecture as he's motivated to get it back.
In the city, DD Donmo pulls out a catalogue to place an order, asking for "item N-1" to be sent immediately to "Earsh" through Space Telephone Shopping! A missile flies towards him releasing DD Donmo's new weapon: the Skyscraper Cutter to cut down hard-to-cut buildings, which he does by extending a poll and chopping one with a pair of scissors stating it's easy to use for all ages! The Carranger soon arrive as DD Donmo states he was waiting for them and uses his Skyscraper Cutter to attack them and slice their surroundings with ease. Kyosuke slices it up as Yoko states he can't attack with that as he attacks with beams from his eyes.
At the same time, Minoru was driving into Fukushima chasing the delivery truck into Aizuwakamatsu City. Minoru pleads for the truck to stop but is stopped by a red light, stating how hard fighting for traffic safety is. Several kids notice him and climb onto Dragon Cruiser, forcing him to get them away until the light turns green and someone yells at him to move, making him complain.
In Tokyo, Red Racer calls for Giga Formula, making DD Donmo order P-27, the Super Beam Bouncer, a shield he uses; Kyosuke states it's useless but the shield protects DD Donmo's body and knock the Carranger out of transformation! With no enemies around, DD Donmo decides to order more weapons, but gets a busy signal, forcing him to wait.
In Aizuwakamatsu, Minoru sends Dragon Cruiser home due to getting too much attention and rents a car to chase the truck, ending up next in Sendai. Minoru discovers the target and starts speeding up, but Signalman pulls him over as he approaches, the officer stating he can't drive like that with a huge parcel as he realizes he's one of the Pegasus workers. When Minoru asks why Signalman's in Sendai, he states he was giving a speech on traffic safety as the Miyagi City of Trees Culture Hall as Ichitaro confirms it. The Tenma boy reveals he was traveling this summer as Signalman's manager; when he asks why Minoru's there, he tries to ask for the officer's help to help save the Carranger, confusing the officer.
In Tokyo, DD Donmo finally gets through to the catalogue company to order weapons; the team worrying if he orders weapons from the catalogue, he could destroy the city! Kyosuke ignores them with his eyes closed as he realizes they need to be "cooling-off": you can return a purchase within one week, giving him an idea. As DD Donmo waits for the weapons, RV Robo is formed intercepting the delivery as Red Racer uses "Gekisou Cooling-Off" to return it. Angered, DD Donmo looks in the catalogue but is shocked they don't sell imo youkan, deciding to replace the order instead and sending two more missiles. Kyosuke orders Yoko to use the Radial Shield to perform "Gekisou Radial Cooling Off", spinning RV Robo as they knock away the weapons as Naoki pleads for Minoru to return with their weapon.
At the same time, Minoru, Signalman and Ichitaro continue to chase the truck driving all the way to Hokkaido, shocking the officer. Ichitaro asks where Hokkaido is, as the officer states it's half-the-month from Tokyo by foot, shocking the boy. The officer asks where the house is as Minoru realizes it's close, only for them to see the truck leaving the grandmother's relenting that the Giga Booster has been delivered to her! The old woman compliments Minoru for coming all this way and that her grandson loves his new present, stating that modern cradles are amazing as the baby is seen sitting on the weapon! Minoru complains that if the baby switches the weapon on, it could lead to a massive disaster! The grandmother worries but states her grandson is stubborn and tough to get him down; Signalman states he can handle a baby as he approaches the Giga Booster as the child keeps crawling on it towards the button, making Signalman states it's harder than it looks. Signalman asks the grandmother to keep her grandson busy as she states he likes jokes, loving the comedians on TV. Minoru volunteers but Signalman surprises by saying he'll do it, stating he once participated in a space comedy competition going far in it. The duo of Minoru and Signalman begin their routine, Minoru stating his siren is way too loud and he uses it so much it's no good; but Signalman states he has to as an officer, since as "Signalman" he'll "Soon-G'Man". The gag merely makes cows moo and the baby begin crying, shocking them.
In Tokyo, RV Robo tires from it's spinning allowing for one of DD Donmo's weapons to arrive to him: the Robo-Slipper XL (a giant banana peel) which he throws to make RV Robo slip, then summons 100 mini-bombs with his insignia on them that he throws at them making Kyosuke worry about Minoru's current status.
In Hokkaido, Minoru and Signalman continue their comedy routine as he states that "hot springs" can turn a grandpa into a "Carranger" by good effects, making them "Cure'n'joy". The baby shows disgust as it nears the button making the duo worry about getting a better gag to stop the kid. However out of nowhere, Ichitaro appears and takes the mike from them giving them a bad pun about if he's ready but "he's a boy", being enough to make the baby laugh. With the child happy, the grandmother takes the baby off the Giga Booster, freeing it so Minoru can return to Tokyo with it...except they're in Hokkaido and won't make it in time with a car!
In Tokyo, DD Donmo keeps throwing bombs at the Carranger before summoning the "S-4", the "Goodbye Hero Cannon", which he appears to receive but in a "Pegasus" box. A voice reveals that "this isn't for DD Donmo" as Minoru states he's been "delivered" with the Giga Booster and wonders where the Bowzock is! DD Donmo throws a mini-bomb as Minoru orders Giga Booster to activate, the cannon wheeling around before flying and shooting the Gorotsuki! With enough time, Minoru changes to Green Racer and orders Giga Booster onto Dragon Cruiser; DD Donmo decides to throw his whole box of mini-bombs but is blown up by Giga Booster's laser, giving the Carranger enough time to confirm their teammate's safety. Naoki wonders how he was able to get back from Hokkaido in time as Minoru reveals Signalman helped, ordering him to use Sirender to throw the box from Hokkaido all the way back to Tokyo, despite how scary it was!
But without too much time to rest, the Goodbye Hero Cannon arrives for DD Donmo, stating it's the "most powerful cannon in space". The Carranger decide to counter it with the Giga Booster; both charge energy as Giga Booster enters cannon mode and ignites the "Booster Cannon" shooting before the evil cannon activates and making it fall apart instantly as the Gorotsuki dies!
Minoru apologizes for what he did; the other Carranger complain he was doing stand-up comedy while they were fighting DD Donmo; Minoru asks if they want to see it as the team wonders what sort of gag he can do. Minoru decides to tell one, preparing to use Ichitaro's joke but the others immediately know the punch line, embarrassing him as the other workers run off; Minoru states Dragon Cruiser is his only friend as it leaves as well, forcing Green Racer to chase after them hoping to tell a better joke.
