The 600-Million-Year-Old Boy Warrior (6億歳少年戦士 6 Oku Sai Shōnen Senshi) is the twenty-sixth episode of Choriki Sentai Ohranger. This episode is the first of a three-part story, introducing two child-like beings from Pangaea: the warrior Riki and the mysterious Dorin; as well as Baranoia's Machine Beast Tamer Keris.
Synopsis[]
When the hero who defeated Baranoia in the past returns to Earth in present times, the Ohranger must find and protect him as Bacchus Wrath sends a Machine Beast tamer to deal with him.
Plot[]
In an extradimensional space, a giant tetrahedron vehicle traverses as a small reptilian creature crawls through the object as two child-like beings, a male clad in gold and a female in robes, rest. A voice within the vehicle proclaims it will arrive at the dimensional hole in 30 seconds and that the dimensional exchange system on standby. As the time elapses, the tetrahedron passes through the hole as it enters into the new dimension, a kanji for "King" appearing on a nearby sphere.
At UAOH headquarters, Miura sees the "King" kanji on the Tetrahedron, realizing it is the "Mark of Riki". Meanwhile, Momo alerts that a dimensional rift has appeared ten-thousand km above Earth with an object appearing from it. As the alert goes off, the tetrahedron building lands on the planet in the city, emitting a beam of light into the sky as both the boy, Riki, and girl, Dorin, awake within. While UAOH noticed that the mysterious object has disappeared after landing in Japanese airspace, Miura speaks to Gorou about Riki, a boy from pre-ancient times while showing his "Mark" to the team; Miura explains that Riki is a legendary hero from pre-ancient times while showing an image of him, Dorin and the lizard to them from ancient ruins; Momo claims he isn't much of a hero and Juri claims he's adorable. Miura states that 600 million years ago, the ancient people lived in peace alongside a race known as "The Dorin", which were charming innocent beings who weren't human that pre-ancients revered as messengers of the Gods. However, a war broke out and most of the Dorin were killed; when Juri asked with whom, Miura states he infers it may have been the Machine Beasts, shocking the team. When Juri asks if the pre-ancients created the Machine Beasts, Miura confirms, stating they were made most likely to be their servants but the machines rebelled to kill humans and take Earth for themselves; the rebellion was put down and nearly all of the Machine Beasts were destroyed. But the pre-ancients realized that the Machine Beasts would revive in 600 million years; thus they chose one of the few remaining Dorin and placed her in a spaceship with the warrior Riki into a dimension outside time where neither would age to return at the time the Machine Beasts came back. Yuji wonders if the strange phenomenon was their return; but Miura states their priority now should be locating the vanished spaceship; since by finding that, they'll understand everything.
At the ship, an orb rises up as Dorin realizes they've returned to Earth in the future; the hero realizes how amazing this new world is while Dorin tells him to not lose and protect Earth from the clutches of Bacchus Wrath which he confirms he will. Dorin soon summons a staff which Riki takes as she sees him off with the lizard. After leaving his base, Riki leaps into an amusement park at night, confused where he is until he's suddenly attacked by a platoon of strange trench coat men descending and surrounding him before rising up and floating around him and regrouping, "melting" into Barlo Soldiers! Riki fights the machine enemies, crushing one under his foot as he realizes they are signs of Bacchus Wrath.
On the moon, Acha approaches Baranoia's Royal Zoological and Botanical Laboratory where several Machine Beasts are being held in cages. A woman named Keris tells one of them, Goblin, to settle as Bacchus Wrath yells for her disgusted that Riki would have to appear on Earth at this very moment! Keris appears before the Baranoia leader as Bacchus Wrath tells her that her time has come and he will use her to get revenge on Riki after 600 million years.
The Ohranger head out in search of the mysterious object as Gorou tells them to search for them until a Takonpas battalion force him and Shouhei away to fight them off. Elsewhere, Dorin chases after Paku, her lizard partner, as the other Ohranger discover the tetrahedron building and Momo finds the Dorin girl. Dorin searches for Paku as the lizard runs into bushes as the Ohranger pursue her. Elsewhere, Riki continues to observe while Gorou and Shouhei chase the Takonpas, discovering the boy warrior standing nearby. Rushing to meet with him, Gorou and Shouhei search until the boy attacks both of them, Shouhei trying to restrain him as Gorou states they're on his side. Without warning, more Barlos appear to attack the duo, forcing Gorou and Shouhei to transform and fight the Baranoia forces off. Riki is surprised the duo know how to use Choriki as Bacchus Wrath appears before them laughing stating it's been a while and he needs to repay his debt of 600 million years ago, firing a beam before he is revealed as a hologram by the King Smashers leading to an opening for the Barlos to attack them. Riki helps the duo fight them off.
Elsewhere, Dorin continues to chase after Paku as Yuji, Juri and Momo pursue; the girl yells out as the lizard appears in a nearby lake before diving back beneath. Dorin captures Paku reprimanding it for leaving while Riki was out and telling it they're going back to the ship; but she's suddenly attacked as Keris appears before them and the three Ohranger. At a crack of her whip, several Barlos appear surrounding them as she proclaims she will take the Dorin's life and the trio are forced to protect her. Keris soon cracks her whip at Dorin and the Ohranger, forcing Riki to come to her aid at the girl's peril but with the Takonpas attacking him and the other Ohranger. Yuji's team transforms to fight back and save Dorin, but Keris summons Bara Goblin who howls out and descends on the three Ohranger, attacking them with a ram attack. The three Ohranger fight the Machine Beast but have a hard time against him, even with their Choriki attacks being deflected with ease and the King Smashers doing nothing on him before it fires an electric attack from it's horns. Yuji's squad get to Dorin and try to help her escape while Keris proclaims that Bara Goblin has never failed to catch it's prey, while Riki yells for Dorin's safety as he, Gorou and Shouhei continue to be attacked by Takonpas.
At Baranoia's Zoological Laboratory, Keris orders Acha to prepare things while Bacchus Wrath reveals his origins to Hysteria and Buldont: he is the only survivor of the Machine Beasts from 600 million years ago, escaping into space and inventing his entire empire on the planet Baranoia; while revealing the Riki was the one that ultimately drove him away from Earth in the first place as humanity's leader, defeating him time and again and proclaiming he will pay. After watching Bacchus Wrath's pledge of vengeance, the bird-like Camera Trick flies towards Earth.
On Earth, Yuji's squad continues to protect Dorin with their lives from Bara Goblin as they run until they reach a cliff. Keris laughs stating this is the end of the Ohranger and tells Dorin she will be dying here before ordering Bara Goblin to attack them, throwing them to the ground before edging closer. The strange girl yells for Riki while the ancient warrior, OhRed and OhGreen roll down a hill still being shot at by the Baranoia Takonpas forces to try and reach her.
