Ep. 26: Birth of a New Kingdom (新王国の誕生 Shin Ōkoku no Tanjō) is the twenty-sixth episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. It features the ending of the first arc of the King-Ohgers Saga[1], featuring the debut of Tarantula Abyss[2], the death of Naraku King Dezunaraku VIII, who will return 22 episodes later, and Prime Minister Kamejim's true agenda and apparent death.
Synopsis[]
King Dezunaraku VIII is the king of the Earth Empire Bug Naraku, whose first priority is the destruction of mankind, but he does not think about the future of his country. To Dezunaraku VIII, Jeramie proposes a one-on-one battle to decide the true king of the Earth Empire...? The 2000-year battle between mankind and Bug Naraku comes to an end, and the sixth kingdom of Chikyu is now born!
Plot[]
The King-Ohgers battle against Dezunaraku and the Bug Naraku. Jeramie and Gira try to talk to the emperor and Jeramie offers a duel for the throne of the Bug Naraku. As a sign of trust, he gives Dezunaraku the Kumonoslayer before making himself and the monarchs disappear. In the castle, Jeramie bows and apologizes for his selfishness, but he tells them that he wants their ears: In the event that he becomes king by beat Dezunaraku, that the Bug Naraku be recognized as the sixth kingdom of Chikyu. All in agreement, Gira, Rita and Jeramie travel to Bug Naraku territory. Hymeno tells everyone that Bug Naraku genes are similar to human genes, meaning that they're closely related to humanity.
Jeramie shows the dead bodies of the Cicada Shugods that ravaged the world during God's Wrath. Concluding that since the Bug Naraku have been eating the souls of Shugods for 2000 years, it altered their appearances. Rita suspects it was to battle humanity, but the Shugods allied with humanity to protect themselves and the Bug Naraku was at a loss. Some Sanagim try to fight Dezunaraku for the throne, but Dezunaraku beats them effortlessly. Geroujim reveals that eating Shugod souls are dangerous and that Dezunaraku is probably nearly at death. Everyone listens and sees a little spider Shugod. Jeramie tells Gira, that he was brought to ask why the Shugod doesn't leave despite the risk of it being eaten.
The Tarantula Abyss
Gira tells Jeramie that Dezunaraku protected it the entire time. The Shugod goes to a weak Dezunaraku, with the emperor tempted to eat it, but he refuses and shoos it away while Jeramie believes that at his core, Dezunaraku is a kind man and wantws to live in peace with the Shugods, but the Bug Naraku's hatred of humanity and conflicts made the dark emperor of today. The day of the duel comes with the monarchs watching behind Jeramie and Dezunaraku's battle. The battle eventually goes to the surface, with Jeramie trying to convince the emperor to change his ways. Dezunaraku shuts down Jeramie's attempts at peace, telling Jeramie to kill him or that he'll simply kill Jeramie whenever he has the chance. This forces Jeramie to prepare to finish the battle, but Gira stops him.
Gira talks to Dezunaraku and realizes that what matters most in honor is who apologizes first. Gira apologizes for humanity's actions and the cycle of hatred that has gone for thousands of years, wanting to end it. Dezunaraku is touched, realizing this is how the war ends. but before Dezunaraku could say anything, a staff strikes him right in the heart. Kamejim walks in and is disappointed in the war ending as a draw. He reveals that he orchestrated the war between humanity and Bug Naraku. Jeramie tries to save Dezunaraku from death, but Dezunaraku gives Jeramie words of wisdom and shoves him from the blast, killing the former emperor. Kamejim declares that the war of hatred will continue as he grows giant.
The King-Ohgers, resolved to beat Kamejim, transform and summon God King-Ohger. With its power, the monarchs are triumphant and Kamejim is beat. Later in Gokkan. the monarchs' approval is needed for the sixth kingdom to officially be born. Thankfully, the monarchs agree and the Bug Naraku are made the sixth kingdom of Chikyu. Jeramie then makes a proclamation to the world as king, he simply asks that the story of peace between humanity and Bug Naraku be spread from country to country so that man and Bug Naraku can join hands. The world is in shock, no applause or celebration but Jeramie notes that it'll do. Tarantula Abyss leaves flowers at Dezunaraku's gravesite while Jeramie narrates that he is prepared for the next step in his journey as king but that their adventure doesn't end here.
