Ep. 24: King of the In-between VS King of the Abyss (狭間の王VS奈落の王 Hazama no Ō Tai Naraku no Ō) is the twenty-fourth episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.
Synopsis[]
Gira and the kings decided to hold a summer festival in Shugodom. While everyone is dressed in yukata, eating and playing at the food stalls, Dezunaraku VIII is working on a terrifying plan deep underground! Can the kings stop Dezunaraku? And what is the surprising truth that Jeramie discovers?
Plot[]
Dezunaraku tells Kamejim that he plans to destroy Chikyu and the already sent a monster to do it. Kamejim tries to object but Dezunaraku chokes the retainer, and he runs away fearfully. Jeramie meets with the emperor and tells him that it's been noticeably hotter. Dezunaraku and Jeramie battle while the kingdoms above are dealing with abnormal heat, the monarchs all contact Gira since the heat is affecting their kingdoms. Boone runs into the castle and asks Gira to go fishing but Duga tells him that he is king and Gira has to shoo away the kid, but an idea sparks among the monarchs to throw a festival in Shugodom. Jeramie and Geroujim continue their battle against Dezunaraku.
Jeramie tells the emperor that he knows his plan to destory Chikyu but Dezunaraku is not bothered by his plan's actions. Jeramie stops the fighting and asks to talk. Meanwhile, the festival brings with the monarchs showing off their parts of the festival to the kids. Gira hides away from his friends but the monarchs tell him that changing himself to be a ruler is not the way to rule. Jeramie asks Dezunaraku on why he has so much hatred for mankind but Dezunaraku tells him that there is no proof that the Bug Naraku were evil or invaded 2000 years ago but they were framed as the villains of Chikyu. Dezunaraku is angered by Jeramie and leaves his presence. Boone drops his ball, and Jeramie gets it for him, but the kid is in fear due to Jeramie being Bug Naraku. Gira arrives and tells Boone that Jeramie is a good man. Jeramie then asks Boone if he thinks the Bug Naraku are bad people and Boone responds with yes and that Gira told him so due to the legend of King-Ohger. Jeramie realizes that he had wrote out the Bug Naraku as the villains, making the prejudice and hatred that both species have for each other his fault.
Zarigajim appears in Shugodam and the King-Ohgers transform to fight him. Extreme King-Ohger is formed and the King-Ohgers are left with nothing to do since they'd have to wait for Zarigajim to appear from the ground before fighting. Gira is caught off guard when Boone joins the cockpit, and the child give Gira the idea to fish for the monster. King-Ohger uses God Kumo to hook the monster and pull him from the dirt. King-Ohger beats Zarigajim with the King-Ohgers visiting the holes the monster made. Dezunaraku appears and demands that they move before fighting them. The monarchs manage to beat the emperor down, but Jeramie stops the fighting and tells them that Dezunaraku and himself are related, thus not wanting to betray them.
Jeramie binds the monarchs with his webs and tells them Dezunaraku's plan. He calls Dezunaraku and tells him that there is still a chance for coexistence for Bug Naraku and humanity, asking to write a new history. Dezunaraku tells Jeramie it's too late and eats a bunch of Shugod souls before plunging himself to the hole that reaches the center of Chikyu.
