The Enigmatic Giant Robo Arrives (謎の巨大ロボ出現 Nazo no Kyodai Robo Shutsugen) is the first episode of Chodenshi Bioman. In the Philippine English Dub, the title of the episode changed to "Fight with Your Destiny".
Synopsis[]
An assault on a peaceful city of technology by the evil Doctor Man and the Neo Empire Gear awakens an ancient robot, who chooses five humans to awaken into becoming Bioman to face the mechanical invaders.
Plot[]
In the Neograd Base, Doctor Man announces Kabuto Canth as the Mecha Gigan with the honor of their first invasion. In the control room, Doctor Man announces he shall prove to the world he is the best scientist in the world, and sets the scientific city of Technotopia 21 in Japan as the target. Sending out the Mecha Gigan and a squad of Mirage Fighters known as the Lightning Squadron, they begin their invasion. Meanwhile, a mysterious giant robot arrives on a mountain.
In Technotopia 21, a shuttle pilot named Shirou Gou jumps out of a pane when he was hit by a beam, giving him a headache. The Neo Empire Gear invaders have arrived, with Mason and Messerjū announcing that the city now belongs to Doctor Man. They order the Lightning Squadron to attack, while Mechaclone foot soldiers execute civilians. Messerjū joins the attack, picking up the shuttle pilot and tossing him away. Mason orders Kabuto Canth to attack, destroying various buildings. As Shirou runs, he sees a giant black and red robot arrive and pick him up its his hand. The robot also picks up a flutist named Hikaru Katsuragi, a car racer named Shingo Takasugi, a water sportsman named Ryuuta Nanbara and a camerawoman named Mika Koizumi. At Neo Grad Base, Fara and Monster are confused by the robot's sudden appearance, while Doctor Man gives the order to destroy it.
The robot drops off the people it picked up at a remote location, and an android named Peebo exits it. He explained that he came to Earth a long time ago and that the people that were picked up must become Bioman to protect the Earth. He materializes the Techno Brace on their arms, and explains them as devices they can use to transform. Peebo further explained that they were chosen as the power to transform is already within them, and the Bio Robo responded to said power. It is then Neo Empire Gear appeared and corner the group. They fight, and Peebo shouts for them to use their Techno Braces. Hearing Peebo, Shirou transforms into Red1, with the other four following suit.
Mason asks who they are, and Peebo introduces them as the Bioman. Mason orders the Mechaclones to fire at them, only for the Bioman to shrug off the bullets easily. They fight, with them using their new-found powers to dispatch the Mechaclones easily, shattering them into pieces in the process. Combining their powers, they used the Miracle Laser to blow Messerjū away. Seeing the result of the battle, Mason orders Kabuto Canth to crush them. Peebo tells the Bioman to board the Bio Robo, and they do. The Bioman initially have troubles controlling the mecha, but they get the hang of it after they calm down. They use the Super Maser to attack the Mecha Gigan, and finish it off with the Straight Flash attack. Seeing their defeat, Doctor Man vows he will find a way to defeat them.
Emerging from the Bio Robo, Peebo congratulates everyone on their victory while Mika searches for her camera. When she finds it, she's livid that it's crushed, and rips off her Techno Brace, before walking away.

- When Peebo turns to the Mechaclone behind him, two crew workers can be seen reflecting off his face.
- When Shirou destroys the Mechaclone, the head lands on its side but in the next scene it is now facing straight up.

- Viewership: 11.8%
- The scene where the scientists evacuate the building during Neo Empire Gear's invasion was used in the Day of the Dumpster pilot when Zoltar (Zordon in the aired version) explains to the Power Rangers about Rita's invasion on Earth. This was due to it being a leftover clip from the Bioman pilot.
