Ep. 19: WhiteBurn with Two Hearts! (ふたつの心でホワイトバーン! Futatsu no Kokoro de Howaitobān!) is the nineteenth episode of No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. This is the conclusion of the second Gozyuger battle saga, featuring the debut of TegaSword WhiteBurn and the full debut of Universe Daizyuzin.
Synopsis[]
A mysterious woman, Mine Takanashi, suddenly appears in front of Hoeru! Invited by Mine, Hoeru plays badminton with her, eats her homemade lunch box, and is thrilled to be on his first date with her.... Meanwhile, Sumino, the "No.1 Meddler," and the others think that Mine is Hoeru's first love and secretly pursue them...?
Just then, Universe Daizyuzin reappears, and Hoeru and Mashiro battle with their new powers of "superhuman god unity"!
Plot[]
Continuing from the previous episode, Universe Daizyujin proves to be too much for both Hoeru and Kumade to handle. Before the amalgamative mecha is about to launch a second attack, Kumade and GoodeBurn decide to retreat for the time being by riding BearKuma50. Hoeru and TegaSword also retreat by hopping on top of GoodeBurn, much to BearKuma50's dismay as both mecha are too heavy for him. We then see that the pilot of Universe Daizyuzin is none other than Kuon, who smirks in annoyance upon seeing the Gozyugers retreat.

Hoeru meeting with Mine again
The next day, Hoeru is thinking about how to deal with Universe Daizyuzin while working as a clerk at a Honey shop. Kumade then appears to buy some honey, much to Hoeru's dismay. Kumade asks what's the Honey recommendation for today, and Hoeru simply says he doesn't care. An annoyed Kumade then explains to Hoeru that Honey comes in many different variations depending on the flower, time, and season, which Hoeru had no idea about since this is his first day working in the shop. Kumade asks what Hoeru's true wish, and Hoeru, after remembering the woman that told him to not have any wishes, says he had None. Turns out, the Honey shop Hoeru currently worked on is the one Kumade regularly visits, and the Manager ends up firing Hoeru for treating a VIP customer in a rude manner. As Hoeru simply spat upon his luck for being fired again, he suddenly hears a familiar voice calling his name. And to the Lone Wolf's surprise, the voice belongs to the woman who saved him in No One World years ago: Mine Takanashi.
Hoeru and Mine go to TegaSword Village, with Hoeru deciding to order them two cups of Coffee. Hoeru expresses his relief that he could see Mine again despite what happened in No One World, while Mine states that she was just recently able to return to Earth. Hoeru commented that she didn’t change a bit since then, but Mine replies that Hoeru had become a good looking man, much to his embarrassment. The other Gozyugers, witnesseing what they think to be a potential couple, can’t help but become Giddy upon seeing Hoeru seemingly feeling lovestruck for the first time, with Rikuo even suggesting to help the Lone Wolf. Kinjiro then volunteers himself to serve their coffee, before asking directly if they are a lovers. Hoeru denies this statement, and reiterates that Mine is also a victim who got spirited away to No One World, just like him, and that she helped him a lot when he was still a Kid. Unexpectedly, Mine is actually keen to the idea of them as a couple and immediately asks Hoeru for a Date, which the Lone Wolf awkwardly accepts as they leave the café. Sumino is excited upon seeing that Mine is Hoeru’s first love, and decides that as the Number One in being nosy, she can't let the opportunity to meddle with their date to slip.
Elsewhere, Mashiro enjoys some honey that he bought from the store and feeds BearKuma as well. Kuon sneaks behind them and raises the Dark WolfDecalibur50 to strike it at Mashiro, but he senses his presence and blocks the blade with his hand. Mashiro reprimands him for his manner of "greeting" people and asks him if he's the one who piloted Universe Daizyuzin, which Kuon confirms to be true. Mashiro asks him what a successful businessman like him is doing there, and Kuon answers that's he's currently acting as the Bridans' Ring Hunter, and asks Mashiro to stop collecting the Sentai Rings.
Hoeru and Mine are walking around in a Japanese district, and Hoeru wonders what he should do on the date. Mine finds some Badminton bats and asks Hoeru to play with her, so they buy the bats and play Badminton. Sumino, Rikuo, Kinjiro and Ryugi (Who was dragged out by them) creep on them, and Sumino thinks that playing Badminton is too casual for a date. She asks Kinjiro, the Party People Number One, to intervene and spice things up. Kinjiro, now suddenly dressed in a flashy party outfit, greets the two and challenges Hoeru for a Badminton match. If he fails, he'll have to dring from an extremely spicy drink. Before Hoeru could react to that, Kinjiro hits the Shuttlecock at him and declares victory. He then asks Hoeru to drink from the spicy juice. Hoeru sneezes from just smelling the bottle, but after Mine wishes him luck, he becomes motivated and drinks from the bottle. His face instantly turns red and he spits a long flame out of his mouth, much to Mine's amusement.
After that, Hoeru and Mine go to a restaurant to eat, with the other Gozyugers continuing to spy on them. When Hoeru drinks Matcha from a cup, Ryugi realizes he's doing it the wrong way and decides to go and confront him about his manners. Ryugi shows him how to turn the cup properly while drinking. When Hoeru asks him why are they following him, Ryugi says that he doesn't care about his date, but as Number One in Manners, he cannot let Hoeru's bad manners slide. He then shows Hoeru how to slide the cup, but accidentally cracks his fingers during the process.
After that, Hoeru and Mine watch two children catching fish from a lake. Mine notes that when she last met him, he was just as old as these kids, but unlike them was lost in No-One World. Hoeru says that it's okay, and that if it didn't happen, he'd never meet her. Mine tells Hoeru that she has something to confess to him, and the other Gozyugers think that she's going to confess her love to him. Rikuo, the Number One at Charming, decides to help Hoeru by showing him signs with words that he should say to Mine. Hoeru notices him and calls him, but stops Mine from turning around when he almost blows his cover. When Rikuo shows him a sign that says that he should hold Mine, Hoeru takes her hand and runs away from the garden with her, while the other Gozyugers follow suit.
Meanwhile, Mashiro follows Kuon, realizing that he seems to be in a hurry because of the scar he has on his back, startling Kuon over the fact that he somehow knows about it. He tells Kuon that as a "god", he knows everything. He knows that Kuon fears the scar, and that his only hope lies in Hoeru, but hope can be painful too. Kuon gets angry, and both of them transform into Garyudo and Gozyu Polar to fight. During the fight, Mashiro sends his GoodeBurn at Kuon's Dark WolfDecalibur50, causing a shockwave that sends both flying and results in them losing the Ninninger and Gekiranger Rings to each other. The Gekiranger Ring turns into a Polar Ring in Mashiro's hand, while Kuon restores the Ninninger Ring after collecting it. Mashiro calls him out for stealing from a "god", but Kuon says that he believes in no god. He only believes in his angel, Hoeru, who might become a fallen angel soon enough. Kuon leaves the fight, making Mashiro wonder what he's trying to do.
Hoeru and Mine arrive at the beach. Mine tells Hoeru that she enjoyed their date, but he says that he felt that they barely had a moment for their own because of his teammates. Mine, however, says that his friends are nice, and his happy to see that he has company. Mine suggest that they have lunch, and the other Gozyugers find them and keep spying on them. Hoeru and Mine sit down to eat, and Hoeru enjoys the food as Mine feeds him. Mine gets up and decides to say her confession to Hoeru, but before she could even say a word, someone shoots at her and she collapses! The Gozyugers see Kuon, already transformed into Garyudo, and realize that he's the one who shot her. Kuon reveals Mine's true fate to Hoeru: She was possessed by a No.1 Monster and died before she could be freed. Kuon revived her since she had a wish to sees Hoeru once more, allowing her and Hoeru to reunite, but he tells Hoeru that it seems that he failed to save her again. The other Gozyugers are disgusted by Kuon's cruelty and transform to fight him.

Mine makes a promise to Hoeru before her death
As the Gozyugers and Kuon fight, Hoeru tells Mine to hang on. She regains her consciousness and tells Hoeru that she realized that she's not really alive, but still wanted to see him and tell him something. She confesses that she feels regretful over the fact that she told him to never have any wishes, but Hoeru forgives her, figuring out that she said that so that he won't end up possessed by a No.1 Monster. Mine continues her confession and tells Hoeru that she's happy that he was able to continue his life. In her dying moments, she asks Hoeru to find a wish, now that he's not at risk, and raises her pinky. The two of them do a pinky promise before Mine fades away.
Mashiro approaches Hoeru and proceed to curse Kuon for using the feelings for someone Hoeru's love to torment him, which Mashiro deems as a nasty move. He tells Hoeru that if he prays to him, he'll beat Kuon for him. Instead of answering, Hoeru gets up and munches on the lunch that Mine prepared, finishing it with his trademark howl. He tells Mashiro that he's not going to pray or take orders from him or anyone, and that no matter how many times he'll lose, he'll fight again and again. Hoeru also declared that he'll take what he wants for himself, immediately demonstrating that declaration by snatching Mashiro's honey bottle from his hands. After drinking from the bottle, he says that he's Hoeru, not a Second Generation as Mashiro calls him, and goes to fight his brother. BearKuma calls Hoeru stupid, but Mashiro says that he can see why TegaSword chose him to become the second GozyuWolf.
Kuon summons clones of GoggleRed, Red Turbo and FiveRed to fight the Gozyugers just as Hoeru arrives to help them. He swears to keep his promise to Mine and transforms to fight with Kuon. While the two are fighting, Kuon notes that Hoeru has become strong emotionally, since he expected him to cry over Mine's death, but tells him that he cannot protect anything, not even his own wishes. Hoeru ignores him and summons the WolfDecalibur 50 to fight back. He manages to get the upper hand on Kuon and sends a flurry of attacks on him. The FiveRed copy sees that and goes to help Kuon, but Rikuo stops it. Sumino and Ryugi group the clones together, and Kinjiro uses his finisher to destroy all of them.

TegaSword WhiteBurn's first apperance
With his Ranger copies destroyed, Kuon summons Black Daizyuzin, once again combining it with parts of GaoKing, EngineOh and ShinkenOh to form Universe Daizyuzin, and teleports to the cockpit. Hoeru summons TegaSword Red to fight them back, but before they could fight, it starts to snow. Mashiro arrives with GoodeBurn, holding a comically gigantic umbrella to shield his father from the snow. Mashiro says that he knows that Hoeru didn't want his help, but sometimes god works in mysterious ways. GoodeBurn also agrees to help them since that is what Kumade wished for, and walks with TegaSword under the umbrella. Suddenly, the umbrella flies up and reconstruct into a Dome, and the father and son mecha combine with each other under Kumade's command of "Godness Gattai". Hoeru is startled to see himself sharing the cockpit with Mashiro, who says that that his appearance is a blessing rather than a curse. The two finish the combination, forming TegaSword WhiteBurn!
Kuon isn't faltered because he has the power of four mecha in his disposal. He uses a corrupted version of EngineOh's Go-On Grand Prix on WhiteBurn, but they fend off the attack and keep going. TegaSword WhiteBurn launches their finger missiles to attack Universe Daizyuzin. Kuon says that no matter how much he attacks him, Mine wouldn't be brought back. Hoeru affirmed that statement, and exclaimed that while he regrets not being able to confess his feelings in time, but he's looking forward instead of regretting what's already done in the past. After Hoeru declared himself as Broken Hearted Number One, TegaSword WhiteBurn launches their finisher - TegaSword Heart Breaker - firing all of their weapons at Universe Daizyuzin while photorealistic polar bear and wolf charge at it. Kuon activates his Robo's own finisher, Black Animal Heart, and sends the individual Mecha that form Universe Daizyuzin at WhiteBurn. WhiteBurn's bear and wolf collides with Universe Daizyuzin's components, but instead of attacking them, they free the animal Mecha from Kuon's control, sending them to attack Universe Daizyuzin. Kuon retreats to No-One World as Universe Daizyuzin is destroyed, still in disbelief that Hoeru actually bested him Again.
At night, Hoeru is sucking the honey of a flower, sombrely still remembering Mine and his promise to her. He feels regretful that he couldn't save her, but Mashiro says that he thinks that she's happy for him, claiming that he knows that as a "god". While saying that, he calls him by his name instead of calling him "Second Generation", which catches Hoeru by surprise. He takes the flower from Hoeru, who tells him to give it back, and the episode ends with them arguing over the flowers.
