Ep. 18: The Crown of Beginnings (始まりの王冠 Hajimari no Ōkan) is the eighteenth episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. It features the debut of the Ohger CrownLance and its associated forms, King Kuwagata Ohger and King Ohkuwagata Ohger, as well as the completed Extreme King-Ohger.
Synopsis[]
After saving Yanma from a great crisis, Gira is once again battling with Rcules. Wrapped in a golden glow, Rcules hunts down Gira with his new power and his jet-black guardian deity...! Which is the true king, the king of evil or the king of evil and tyranny?!
Plot[]
Kaguragi watches Gira's "revival" and applauds the prince. Rcules and Gira begin their battle. Though Daigorg tries to intervene, wanting the glory of taking Gira down but Rcules pulls out a crown that Gira recognizes from childhood and uses it to transform into King OhKuwagata Ohger. He forces Daigorg down and then begins to fight Gira, beating the prince with ease but he saved by a fog from Jeramie. Yanma is hospitalized and Jeramie brings Gira on his back to be hospitalized as well. Rita goes to Shugoddam, claiming that his conspiracy to assassinate Yanma was the final straw for Rcules' arrest, but Duga defends his king, along with his knights to stop Rita from entering. Rita leaves while in the castle, Kaguragi congratulates Rcules on the battle and the crown Rcules had, asking what it was. Rcules tells him that it was passed from Shugodam's royal family since ancient times and that it holds incredible power. After Kaguragi takes his leave, Boshimerle asks if he had handed more infomation than he should have, to which Rcules notes that he's become less wise when Kaguragi is around. Duga tells Rcules off the monarchs meeting in Ishabana and Rcules tells the Bug Naraku. Meanwhile, as it turns out, in a gift from Kaguragi there were some of his servants in it.
In Ishabana, Rita authorizes Gira to take down Rcules since he controls King-Ohger ZERO. Hymeno asks about crown and Gira explains to them that it's the Founder's Crown and Rcules showed it to him as children, telling them that it's powerful. They think of overwhelming him with Legend King-Ohger, though without Kaguragi it won't have its full power. Gira leaves and the rulers think of Jeramie's God Tarantula, but Jeramie is in a depressive state because his plans caused the whole situation in the first place. Gira calls Kaguragi, telling him a secret he hasn't told anyone: When he was trying to save Suzume, he heard her crying but could tell she was there for a reason. Kaguragi assumes this a trade of information, but Gira doesn't want anything, simply telling him that they plan to fight Rcules and that they may not talk anymore. Turns out, Kaguragi is in Shugodam's castle and is sneaking around looking for something. Kaguragi was caught and was almost captured but Suzume arrives and has her brother act as a beetle to be forgiven. As everyone laughs, Kaguragi notices a button on the throne..
King Kuwagata Ohger Debut
Meanwhile, Ishabana is under attack. The King-Ohgers already fighting off the Bug Naraku. Gira in King-Ohger deals with the giants but it quickly thrown out by the appearance of King-Ohger ZERO. After Rcules mocks the King-Ohger's helplessness, Kaguragi appears in Rcules' cockpit. Rcules asks what he wants and Kaguragi pulls out OhgerLance and upon seeing Rcules' reaction, knows it is important. Kaguragi reveals that he attempted to use King-Ohger ZERO before, but it never moved, assuming there was a key to control it. Rcules realizes that everything Kaguragi has done was simply to steal power from him. Kaguragi then steals the crown and hands it to Gira, who transforms into King Kuwagata Ohger.
Complete Extreme King-Ohger Debut
With this newfound power, Gira summons a complete Extreme King-Ohger. The royal brothers of Shugodam do battle while Gira asks him of what happened to the Rcules that believed a king should protect his people. Rcules states it to be nothing more than a childish fantasy and he is then defeated by the power of Extreme King-Ohger. With the Bug Naraku, Dezunaraku claims Shugodam to be his as Rcules limps to his throne and the Bug Naraku take over Shugodam.
