Ep. 17: The Captured Tough Guy (囚われの猛者 Toraware no Mosa) is the seventeenth episode of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. It features the debut of SpinoThunder.
Synopsis
MosaRex has been captured at the hands of Wizeru and a revived Minosaur, forcing Canalo to ask Koh for help. However, Wizeru has hypnotized MosaRex and commands him to attack Canalo. Just then, Bamba makes his way to help save Canalo and MosaRex?

- This episode marks the return of KishiRyuOh TigerLance since its last appearance in Episode 4 and the return of Kishiryu DimeVolcano since its last appearance in Episode 13. Wizeru also returns since Episode 14.
- MosaRex and DimeVolcano are revealed to be brothers, making them the first Sentai mecha to be related to each other as siblings and inside their own series since Ninningers (since they also transform into their own mecha).
- Other known sentient mechas known to be relatives are Magirangers (who are siblings and family, as well as transform into their own mecha), Speedor, Bear-V, and Machalcon (who are parents and child, although Machalcon appeared on another series).
- The scene where Wizeru said "Muda" nine times is a reference to Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
- Coincidentally, Hikaru Midorikawa (Wizeru's voice actor) also voiced Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood.
