Ep. 16: The 10-Year-Old Chief Justice (10才の裁判長 Jūsai no Saiban-chō) is the sixteenth episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. It features the only appearance of Tarantula Knight with Pede Chainsaw & Cicada Blade.
Synopsis[]
Rita became King and Chief Justice of Gokkan 15 years ago at the age of only 10. Rita became king because the previous king and chief justice was killed by a man. The assassination actually involved the "Wrath of God"...? The truth about 15 years ago and Rita's mysterious past will be revealed!
Plot[]
Rita Kaniska is watching Moffun while talking with their giant sized Muffon about the premium series Muffons. Morphonia asks Rita if they would like to go to Ishabana for Premium Mini-Moffuns to treat themself since it's the 15th anniversary of Rita becoming Supreme Justice. Rita turns it down due to it being the first day they passed judgement on someone. A trial is later held on the man of the Lost Scales incident. Rita questions why he would murder Karras when she was the man's husband and former ruler of Gokkan and asks for the location of the body, but the man simply states he killed her, nothing more. Rita looks back on the incident especially since the time of Karras' death was also when God's Wrath happened. Outside, Morphonia is leading the prisoners that are moving snow out when Rita threatens the prisoners that yelled at their retainer. Morphonia is worried that she won't be able to lead Gokkan considering that she might be next in line to rule and that the prisoners frighten her, asking why she was made a retainer. Rita explains that they were made ruler at 10 but never got an answer themself.
At Shugodam, Kaguragi discusses about the events of the negotiation with the Bug Naraku with Rcules, who tells him it was just as one who would expect: Peace. Jeramie also discusses with Gira and Yanma of his accomplishments in getting Bug Naraku and man closer. Gira simply states that Jeramie is being naive and that he shouldn't trust Rcules. Kaguragi believes that something had to be gained on both sides for negotiation, so he wonders what the Bugs asked in return, but Rcules simply says that was all that was traded was peace. Jeramie is a little upset but tells them that he won't allow any disturbances in reconciliation before Yanma shows Bug Naraku in his kingdom and the president tells him coldly that if anything happens to his people, he'll be the first to go down. Jeramie simply leaves in disappointment and Yanma asks what Gira plans to do after beating Rcules. In Ishabana, the Moffuns have been sold out and Morponia is distraught while Rita hands a premium Moffun from a previous case to Hymeno though Rita seems hesitant to let it go. Rita brings up the Wrath of God and tells her that something has been bothering them, the fact that the previous Justice was killed 15 years ago as well. Rita hands the queen a sample of the toxin used to kill Karras to be analyzed.
Rita and Hymeno talk more, where Hymeno says that they may be more alike than let on. Rita is almost touched but shuts the conversation down quickly because they need to be impartial, and they can't allow themselves to engage in idle chat before leaving. Kamejim talks with Wogerajim to stop the release of Shiron while Jeramie walks in and asks about the peace negotiations. Kamejim just assures that the ordeal is a personal matter and nothing more before leaving. Rita trials Shiron again but calls Hymeno to the case and the venom is the same as the one that was used on Hymeno's parents meaning that Shiron is connected to who killed the former queen and king of Ishabana. Rita demands the truth while N'Kosopa is being attacked which forces Yanma to fight with Gira joining quickly after. Shiron finally talks. The event that ravaged the world was caused by someone, but the crime could not be judged in a court of law, so Karras stepped down by faking her death and imprisoning the man that caused the event, intending to stay there until she dies. Hymeno asks for the location of the murderer, but Shiron does not know and states it was done to maintain the neutrality of Gokkan and kept secret. They had agreed to tell Rita the day they figured out where the venom came from. Shiron gives Rita a necklace from 15 years ago from Karras, showing her trust in Rita. Shiron is then pronounced innocent.
Shiron leaves to go look for Karras and says goodbye, but Wogerajim appears to stop him. Rita, Hymeno and Wogerajim battle with the Ohgers beating the monster easily. Wogerajim returns to Kamejim, apologizing for failure to kill Shiron. Kamejim is not bothered since Shiron doesn't actually know anything but simply allows Wogerajim to grow giant just for the sake of killing of the rulers. Jermaie, appearing out of nowhere is upset at the Bug Naraku for trying to disrupt the peace and summons Tarantula Knight, beating the monster. Later, Rita is watching a commercial of the Premium Mini-Muffon but they're interrupted by a knock on their door. Hymeno was the knocker and thanks Rita for proving that God's Wrath was caused by a person. She tells Rita that she's been alone for a while and that people thought she was being silly or delusional, but Rita helped out, so she gave Rita a gift, which Rita initially turned down to be neutral. Hymeno simply leaves it and says that it might as well be thrown away, Rita finds a Premium Mini-Muffon as Hymeno walks away and Rita thanks her from a far. Meanwhile, Gira and Yanma continue their battle but the Sanagim tell Yanma that Rcules wants to talk and a meeting between the king of Shugodam and president of N'Kosapa begin.
