Naughty!! The Future Child (腕白！！未来っ子 Wanpaku!!Miraikko) is the sixteenth episode of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. This episode introduces Mikio, a child friend and supporter of the U.A.O.H. heroes.
Synopsis[]
The musical abilities of a Machine Beast accidentally brings a 23rd Century boy to the present, forcing Shouhei to protect him while trying to figure out how to send him back home.
Plot[]
On an island, a Machine Beast named Bara Devil plays a piano on his body activating his "Devil World". The skies cloud up as noticed by Shouhei and strange illusions of crashing waves and exploding fire and magma appear around them confusing even the Ohranger as he's hit by the attack! Shouhei withstands the attack wondering what's happening while reporting that strange things are occurring around Point 8295.
At the Baranoia Palace, Buldont explains that Earth is experience the "virtual reality" Devil World, created by Bara Devil to cause devilish terrors to humanity, leading to praise by his parents. At Buldont's order, Bara Devil continues to unleash the power until he's spotted by OhGreen, forcing him to use Note Bombs with his music powers to assault him; but ripping a hole into the space-time continuum making a boy appear as a result and shocking him! Shouhei notices the boy while Bara Devil continues to threaten the "Devil World" playing his piano until the pendant on the strange boy repels the Devil World's power! The boy awakens, making the Machine Beast pursue him until Shouhei intervenes and transforms, but he's attacked until the other Ohranger arrive to assist in deposing the Barlo and Machine Beast. Shouhei continues to chase the strange boy while the other Ohranger fight off the Barlo on the island.
Shouhei continues to chase the boy asking him about the pendant, but another boy stops him and hides the strange boy, stating he is Mikio while the new boy introduces himself as Jun. Mikio asks why a strange man is chasing him and Jun is likewise confused; when asked about the pendant, Jun states his father found it on a trip in space and that he took it out to play without asking. As he did, he heard weird music from within teleporting Jun away to this place. Shouhei confronts Jun asking when he was born, the boy stating it was the year 2200, shocking OhGreen stating that he traveled from 200 years in the future!
On the moon, Buldont shows offense that some boy just traveled from the future and interrupted the Devil World with his pendant; but Bacchus Wrath claims no one cares about the Devil World anymore realizing that by combining Bara Devil's power with the pendant, they can control the means to travel through time; Hysteria adding they can use it to travel to any era in Earth's history, to the point of being able to destroy the Ohranger's ancestors and prevent them from existing! Bacchus Wrath orders his son to get the pendant, which he acknowledges. On Earth, Shouhei hears Bara Devil's music, forcing him, Mikio and Jun to run until it appears to try and get the pendant, causing it to react again to his music and cause chaos to occur within the area and allowing for another escape. Mikio notices the boy taking the knocked over food and steals it as he joins him, with Shouhei seeing their naughty actions.
At UAOH headquarters, Miura discovers the strange reaction between Bara Devil's power and the pendant and how it creates time travel; with Goro believing that Baranoia realizes it as well. Miura states they will analyze Bara Devil's power while instructing Jun to save the future boy and recover the pendant.
In the city, Jun compliments the stolen sweets stating he never had anything like them before; Mikio asks if they have cake in the future as Jun reveals multiple packages of tubes and gum, grossing Mikio out. The boys are soon found by Mikio's mother, who yells at him for pulling this and rushes back to the cake stand to pay off what he and Jun stole and forcing apology. The mother tells Mikio that she didn't get mad since she didn't like him but because she wants him to be a good boy; she also worries about Jun's possible mother and tells him to apologize to her as well as Mikio and his mother go home. Jun stands depressed until Shouhei finds him, the future boy crying he wants to go home as OhGreen tells him he'll get him back to his mother using the pendant.
Mikio soon rushes back to his friend, but Bara Devil suddenly arrives as a giant stating he will get the pendant no matter what, which Shouhei claims won't happen! The giant Machine Beast breathes fire as Barlo Soldiers descend on them forcing them to flee and forcing OhGreen to transform to fight them off. Shouhei alerts UAOH headquarters to get the Chouriki Mobiles to arrive at Point 8235, the team launching them immediately but attacked by Takonpas that must be avoided. Bara Devil continues to attack OhGreen, grabbing at him until Goro uses the Giant Roller Sky Shoot to attack the giant hitting his leg and allowing for him to remove the Barlo and save Shouhei from the attack and instructing him to get the pendant. Shouhei asks Jun to loan him the pendant to allow for the boy to go back to the future, which he agrees to. Entering into Gran Taurus, he alerts Miura to analyze the pendant back at headquarters, making him research while the team takes on the giant Bara Devil. Shouhei uses the Taurus Attack of the Gran Taurus while the other Ohranger use their weapons of their individual Chouriki Mobile before fusing into Ohranger Robo to combat it. Bara Devil uses the Note Bomb to attack Ohranger Robo, while Miura solves the time travel equation, realizing that the Machine Beast's music reverberates with the crystalline core of Jun's pendant allowing for energy to be emitted for space-time travel. Using the Horn Head, Shouhei pushes Bara Devil back with the Chouriki Taurus Thunder while returning the pendant to Jun to return home, which the boy takes back. Bara Devil begins using his music attack on the team as Barlo appear; Goro tells OhGreen to play Bara Devil's keyboard to activate the pendant energy, which he does by restraining Bara Devil to play the music while Mikio and Jun try to escape the Baranoia mooks. Jun runs from the minions while Shouhei continues to play the piano with Ohranger Robo, telling the future boy to withstand the pain until it's time. As the music continues to play, the core activates, the energy surrounding Jun as he says goodbye to Mikio and the Ohranger, successfully completing the mission. Returning to the Wing Head, the Ohranger fight off Bara Devil, hitting it until activating the Crown Final Crash to destroy the Machine Beast. Mikio thanks the Ohranger for their actions.
Later, Mikio admits he wishes he could see Jun again; Shouhei states that the boy came once so he's sure he'll meet him again. Miura wonders if he could meet Jun and ask a few things about the future as well.
