Synopsis[]
Shoko is so worried about Ryugi that she has become Boso Red Racer! The runaway Shoko recalls her and Ryugi's childhood. What are the precious memories of Ryugi that she cannot forget?
Shoko, who wants to keep her master safe, and Ryugi, who wants her to understand that "faith is the key to life", eventually clash violently. What will become of their feelings? Then Bridan intervenes, and a terrible situation arises...!
Plot[]
Continuing from the previous episode, Ryugi returns to TegaSword Village with the other Gozyugers after Shoko transformed into Bōsō Red Racer. Both Hoeru and Ryugi wonder what happened to her after her unexpected transformation, before Saori points them out to the TV broadcast. No longer than she said that, the news immediately shows Shoko running around town in a berserker state, crushing several roads that trapped several cars in between while rambling about Traffic Safety in delinquent-esque manner. While the Gozyugers realize that Shoko is as dangerous as a No.1 Monster, suddenly TegaSword possesses Saori's body and tells them that the Carranger Sentai Ring has gone corrupted because Shoko's innate desire and frustration had caused it's power to go overdrive. TegaSword even admitted that this is the first time this scenario even happened to those who bore the Ring Contract before he left Saori's body. The Gozyugers are perplexed by this sudden turn of event, while Aori finds the situation cool. Aori asks her to do it again, but she apparently had no idea what he's talking about and asks him to do his homework, while Ryugi glances worriedly at the TegaSword figurine in the café.

Ryugi learning about TegaSword
After the commotion had settled down, Rikuo asks Ryugi about his relationship with Shoko. Ryugi tells him that she came here to take him back to the Bakugami household, but he refuses to return because he feels that his parents only view him as a puppet and a heir to the Bakugami line of doctors, limiting his freedom. One day, while looking at the library as a child, he finds a book about TegaSword containing a prophecy: The world is corrupted and full of lies, but if TegaSword was to regain his full power, he would transform the world into a paradise. From that day, Ryugi decided to devote himself to TegaSword, so that he could help him attain a paradise and free people from problems weighing them down, exclaiming this particular goal as his wish. Unexpectedly, Sumino then realizes that Ryugi is rich, and starts to suck up to him to get some clout from him, with Kinjiro also calling Ryugi with his own nickname, much to the monk’s chagrin. Rikuo then senses Shoko around with his super hearing and informed the Gozyuger members about this, prompting Ryugi to face her alone to settle things once and for all.
At a roadside, Ryugi confronts Shoko, who asks him to hand her his Sentai Rings, but he refuses. The other Gozyugers arrives as well but there are several other civilians at the scene as well. Kinjiro suggested Ryugi that they should find a way to move the battlefield out of the city as to not endanger civilians, an idea that Ryugi agrees with. The Gozyugers start running away from Shoko, who yelled at them that running on the streets is dangerous. However, she started throws nails from her Kugimagic Bat instead, forcing the Gozyugers to evade them as it destroys the road behind them, and Sumino yelled that they naturally won't stop running if she going to keep throwing nails at them. Kinjiro notices a banana peel on the road, so Shoko jumps at the Gozyugers, telling them that slipping on a banana peel is dangerous and promptly destroyed the very same road instead, with Rikuo dryly commented that Shoko should get slipped instead. The Gozyugers avoid a biker, which Shoko hits with a kick and drops the rider from his bicycle, claiming that riding next to Ryugi may put him in danger. Shoko hijacks the bike by force, while the Gozyugers continue running away from her, and Hoeru screaming that she's the most dangerous factor that gonna harm Ryugi this way.
Somewhere else, Mrs. Sweet Cake is weeping. When Mr. Shining Knife asks her what's wrong, she blames him for carelessly losing the Gingaman Sentai Ring to Sumino, and swoons over Kuon for saving them from Rikuo's attack. Not long after, Kuon appears and tells Mrs. Sweet Cake that he'd never let a pretty face like hers get scarred, while unknowingly placing his hand on Mr. Shining Knife's face, annoying him but charming Sweet Cake. Fire Candle appears and reminds all of them to focus on collecting the Sentai Rings.
The Gozyugers arrive at an empty quarry, which would be suitable for fighting Shoko without endangering innocents. Hoeru asks Ryugi if he knows if she has any weaknesses, but when Ryugi tells him he doesn't, Hoeru calls him useless. Shoko then attacks the Gozyugers, claiming that friends who insult you are dangerous, and uses her Stop ability to freeze all but Ryugi. Because of her transformation into Boso Red Racer, the Gozyugers remain permanently frozen this time. Ryugi demands Shoko to stop, else he'll get angry. Ryugi's anger momentarily reverts Shoko back to normal, and starts to remember a memory from their childhood: A young Ryugi found Shoko crying after she broke a plate and got yelled at by his father. Ryugi cheers her up by putting a flower crown on her head. Back in the present, Shoko tells Ryugi that as a child, he made her feel safe, so now she wants to ensure his safety in return. Ryugi tells Shoko that while both of them used to cry a lot as children, it can't be applied to the present, as Ryugi now become stronger as TegaSword’s devoted follower. Shoko tells him that the world is dangerous and that he can't trust anyone he sees, but Ryugi answers that it was his faith in TegaSword that gave him a purpose in his life, and to prove his point, he'll stop her.

Ryugi saving Shoko
Ryugi transforms into GozyuTyranno to fight Shoko. As the two are fighting, Shoko tells him that people only use faith to avoid responsibility. While the two are evenly matched, Shoko starts shooting nails from her Kugimagic bat, which Ryugi avoids. Ryugi asks Shoko if there's no one she has faith in, and she tells him she only wants him to be safe before enlarging her Kugimagic bat and swinging it at Ryugi. Ryugi prays for TegaSword to strengthen him, and with a hit from his TyrannoHammer50, he successfully destroys the Kugimagic Bat. He then attack Shoko with a palm strike, detransforming her and purifying her Carranger Ring, subsequently also frees the other Gozyugers from her Stop ability.
The Gozyugers had no time to rejoice however, as Fire Candle, Mr. Shining Knife, Mrs. Sweet Cake and Kuon/Garyudo appear to take the Gozyugers' Sentai Rings. Sweet Cake swoons over Kuon, but Shining Knife tells her that he's only tricking her and wouldn't hesitate hurting her. Fire Candle also doesn't want Kuon to steal the spotlight, and his personal rival, GozyuWolf. Ryugi asks Shoko to run to a safe place, refusing her plea to come with her once again, as the other Gozyugers transform to fight the Bridans. While Shoko is worried about her master’s predicament, Ryugi tells her that he has faith in his teammates’ strength. Kuon summons clones of Red Falcon and Hurricane Red, and the fight begins.
Hoeru faces his rival, Fire Candle, who challenges him for another fight. Kuon also wants to fight his brother, so he turns Hurricane Red into his Hayatemaru and wields it. Kinjiro and Sumino confront him, and the latter decides to use her newly-acquired Gingaman Ring, transforming into Ginga Red. As she starts fighting Garyudo, Sweet Cake cheers on him but Shining Knife wishes both of them to lose. Sumino uses UnicornDrill50 and the Starbeast Sword in tandem to launch a powerful flame attack at Kuon. Realizing this, Kuon hides behind the Red Falcon clone and uses it as a meat shield against the attack, which results in the clone's destruction. Mrs. Sweet Cake is shocked that Kuon did that to an ally. Kuon then gets bored and decides to leave, but not before using Shining Knife and Sweet Cake as meat shields to protect him from Kinjiro and Rikuo's attacks.
After Kuon retreats, Sweet Cake apologizes to Shining Knife, telling him that she didn't know that Kuon was THAT cruel. Shining Knife forgives her and announces himself as the winner of a Lovey-Dovey battle. The two of them then enlarge themselves with the power of Love Big Wave. As Fire Candle retreats from the battle, Shoko warns Ryugi to back away, but he summons TegaSword Yellow and is teleported inside its cockpit alongside Shoko. Ryugi tells her to watch his faith in TegaSword and starts fighting Shining Knife and Sweet Cake. While he manages to lend a few hits on them, their love allows them to grow even larger than TegaSword. The two attempt to crush TegaSword Yellow under their foot, worrying Shoko that they won't win at this rate. Ryugi replied to Shoko to believe in him, as she remembers all of her childhood memories with Ryugi, she changes her mind and starts cheering for him. As if to answer the duo’s conviction, TegaSword calls Ryugi by his name and asks him to fight together, something which Ryugi gladly does so, singing praises that he'll follow TegaSword anywhere. The two of them use Lord TegaSword : Praising Dinosaur Palm finisher on Mr. Shining Knife and Mrs. Sweet Cake, tearing a hole in their body before seemingly destroying them. A victorious Ryugi then announced himself as the Number One in having a Believing Heart before happily praising TegaSword once more. Subsequently, he's announced at the winner of this No.1 Battle as Ryugi Bakugami instead of GozyuTyranno.

Ryugi and Shoko going their separate ways
After the battle, Shoko realizes that Ryugi doesn't need her protection any longer, and gives him the Carranger Sentai Ring. She promises to have more faith in Ryugi and try to convince his father to do the same, with Ryugi also telling Shoko to take care of herself. A saddened Shoko and the resolute Ryugi then goes their separate ways as the other Gozyugers looks on...
Back at TegaSword Village, Ryugi is decorating the TegaSword shrine out of increased excitement. The other Gozyugers find his decorations unappealing, but when Ryugi asks TegaSword what does he think about them, the god animates TegaSword figurine and hesitantly lies to him that it looks great. The other Gozyugers are amused by this turn of event, with Hoeru even commented TegaSword is quite capable at telling white lies, while Ryugi thanks TegaSword and blesses him once more as the episode ends.
