Ep. 12: The Sixth King (6人目の王様 Rokuninme no Ōsama) is the twelfth episode of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. It features Jeramie Brasieri's first transformation into Spider Kumonos.
Synopsis[]
The man in the spider mask, Jeramie Brasieri, suddenly appears before Gira and his friends. He claims to be "the king who rules over everything" including humans and Bug Naraku. The mysterious Jeramie confuses Gira, the four kings, and even King Dezunaraku VIII...? Jeramie's purpose and the power of Spider Kumonos will now be revealed!
Plot[]
Gira runs to Jeramie and demands to know what has happened to the Shugods. Jeramie simply states that he'll rule all. The others appear and surround Jeramie and he shoots a web at Hymeno's mouth, telling her to remain quiet. Jeramie then states the legend of King-Ohger, asking if they know it and then he reveals that he was the one who made it as a prophecy of his.
Gira believes that this means that he was pulling the strings the entire time while Yanma doesn't buy a single word of it, Hymeno backing him up. Meanwhile, Rita puts Jeramie under arrest, the storyteller irritated that they "can't read between the lines" and goes with them to see if they're worthy of their thrones. Gira joins the two to go to Gokkan. Meanwhile, Kamejim is seething in anger because of Jeramie's plan but Dezunaraku tells him that as long as the souls are returned to the bodies of the Shugods, the world is theirs. Gira and Morphonia watch as Rita judges Jeramie. Morphonia asks his reason for being here and Gira states that it's because Jeramie has stated the same thing that Rcules Husty has said: Wanting to rule all. Rita begins by asking Jeramie to state his name, nationality and motive for his crimes though Jeramie doesn't take the trial seriously, testing the King's patience. Jeramie continues with cryptic talk about stories and Rita's had enough, calling him guilty but Jeramie continues, asking the king a question: Why was God Scorpion's Shugod Soul in Gokkan? This caught everyone's attention and Rita tells their retainer to get the Thundercracker ready.
Meanwhile, Kaguragi is telling Rcules all about Jeramie and Rcules simply states that he be brought. Kaguragi asks why the king would have any interest in Jeramie, but Rcules doesn't answer due to his suspiciousness and states that Kaguragi should learn more from his sister about trustworthiness. Kaguragi asks if she's okay and Rcules confirms she is, though it can change if Kaguragi doesn't stay in line. Rita, Jeramie and Gira are now in N'Kosopa to get the truth. Yanma allows Gira to wear the lie detector as a test run which ends with Gira getting electrocuted for lying. Jeramie is put under it next and asked questions through there is no reaction. Shiokara tests it to make sure it isn't broken but gets electrocuted. Rita believes the machine could simply be wrong, but Yanma denies that, not in his country. Jeramie then brings up Gin, Yanma's old mentor. Jeramie admits that he taught Gin, which in turn makes him the reason why King-Ohger can be controlled. Jeramie then tells them that he gave humans hints on how to revive King-Ohger while he gave the Bug Naraku the whereabouts of the greater guardians.
Rita asks why to leave any hints at all and Jeramie, cryptic as ever asks what HIS motive was. Yanma is tipped off and demands to know Jeramie's deal, but Jeramie is swiftly taken away by Ishabana servants. Jeramie is presented to Hymeno as Gira and Yanma follow quickly after. Hymeno tells them that she simply wants Scorpi back but Jeramie questions if that's all she wants, somehow managing to put Scorpi's soul on her dress as a gift of gratitude. Rita appears and tells everyone that he is the phantom known as the "spider man". He was seen decades and centuries before present day, confirming that he is older than he looks, Kaguragi appears and says that he is a Bug Naraku agent and that lies cannot be played as when he had appeared to destroy Dezunaraku, he came out not even looking slightly harmed. Gira states that this means that he is the enemy and should be put down. These words upset Jeramie but before anything could be done, Bug Naraku are attacking Ishabana, making Jeramie vanish. The crew then finds Jeramie in the city fighting Bug Naraku, with Jeramie stating that this is their last clue, but they don't get it and simply say it's infighting,
Jeramie continues his crpytic speaking but loses his patience as Gira states they don't understand, Jeramie rather upset that no one has been able to tell who he is by now and tells them they should not be royalty. Jeramie then reads the story of King-Ohger but then tells the truth... of a sixth hero that was erased from history because of a forbidden love of a Bug Naraku and human. This love gave birth a being of both worlds and in order to protect the child's happiness was forced to wear a mask to conceal his "curse", this child was Jeramie. He tells them that inbetween the kingdoms there are those that live like the rest but aren't treated as such and says that everyone will join hands. The rangers all state angrily that he should've just said that, but all understand that Jeramie simply doesn't want both races to fight and that he too should to learn to read between the lines. The kings soon get a little testy, with Hymeno and Yanma arguing, Kaguragi trying to split the two, Rita trying to leave and Gira stopping them. Jeramie looks with pride but then Dezunaraku appears, and Jeramie says that he'll handle it. Jeramie asks the emperor how he feels about the coexistence of both races with Dezunaraku responding that humans have no right for survival especially a Halfbreed like Jeramie.

Spider Kumonos' debut.
Jeramie then states his goal as the king of the in-between and then transforms into Spider-Kumonos, shocking everyone. The new ranger and Dezunaraku battle with Jeramie beating the emperor and forcing him to escape. Jeramie then continues his narration as the episode ends.
