10 Pyramids!! The Maze of the Golden Mask (10ピラミッド!! 黄金仮面の迷路 Ten Piramiddo!! Ōgon Kamen no Meiro) is the twelfth episode of J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai.
Synopsis[]
Goro suffers through various problems and trauma to protect a golden Egyptian mask from CRIME forces.
Plot[]
An exhibition of African gold has just ended in Tokyo. However, upon receiving a tip that CRIME was after the the golden mask of the pharaoh, Cultural Minister Carmen came up with a plan to secretly move the mask from the exhibition site to Onigawara Airfield and requested J.A.K.Q. to transport it here. Carmen explains those two are imitation and this one (the number 3) is a real mask, and must be protected at all costs. Ace will not let CRIME to get their hands on it, as he trusts to Minister Carmen.
Ace, Jack and King all set out on different routes toward Onigawara Airfield. However when Minister Carmen returned to the embassy, he was intercepted by the Crime Boss alongside Devil Sphinx who later knocks him. The Crime Boss traces Minister Carmen's track via headphones, showing the proof that the number 3 is the real mask, as the two were imitations, realizing that was Ace's voice. It was decided that Ace was the one who bring the real golden mask afterall. During his trip, Ace contacts Joker that he is moving from 689 to 341, as the drones attack after Ace. He later climbs into the cliff to spy onto CRIME who get on the way. Ace is contacting by Joker that Jack and King are not being followed, with CRIME follow after Ace. He struggles to drive at the mountain until Joker warns Jack and King regarding CRIME's pursuit of Ace, telling Queen to take participation. Ace shots CRIME's van with Spade Machine's gun, driving while dodging the minefield, and protecting the golden mask. With the CRIME on the way, Ace fights the Crimers, taking back the golden mask, and in the end, he was abducted by the Crimers instead. When Jack, King & Queen call for Ace, he is not here.
At the secret laboratory, Ace had been abducted by CRIME and was injected with a teeth serum. Ace feels that his body like it's made of a lead. thinking about retrieval of the golden mask as he answers nothing, supposing Ace has transported it to Onigawara Airfield. The Boss told Ace what Ace has done with the golden mask as he didn't know where Ace has hidden the mask. Back to CRIME HQ, Iron Claw realizes that they've been asked by a wealthy European collector to get that Pharaoh's golden mask, and would pay us handsomely for it. The Boss says that he will come up with something to get Ace to talk. The Boss continues to torture Ace with teeth serum and raising the voltage, telling about where is the pharaoh's mask is, with Ace answering "he doesn't know" to him. As the Boss eaises the voltage, Ace's body nuclear reactor is began to explode, and he escapes from Devil Sphinx. Ace runs from the CRIME, and as he is on the bridge, he was shot by the Crimers, falling into the river, reflecting CRIME's victory.
Jack, Queen & King find Ace stranded in the river, rescuing him later to be hospitalized. As the fake Carmen comes, he visits the hospitalized Ace and asking where the real golden mask to him. He claims that if he doesn't have a mask, he won't return back to his homeland. Joker clarifies that he was tortured by the Boss. Joker begin a sensory response test to try and restore Ace's memory. Jack thinks that Ace's condition began to improve. When he remembers the mask, he has no memory after all. Joker sure that Ace didn't tell them where he hid the mask while he was being tortured, with the location being wiped from his memory. Due to his response, Joker's next step is to recreate the scene of CRIME following Ace up the mountain road, and nothing seemed to bring back Ace's memory, though. Minister Carmen continues to ask Ace, and Ace doesn't respond about abandoning his car. Ace get off from the car, picking off the flower and blow it, indicating Ace was crazy to him.
CRIME, knowing that Ace had lost his memory, went on a bold crime spree. Jack, Queen and King comes to stop CRIME's scheme, fighting the Crimers off. When Ace returned, Jack reports that Ace hasn't his memories returned yet. Joker asks them to open the doors to Ace's memory. Queen remembers that Ace is the one who saved Queen during a car crash, pointing it to create the accident, with Joker tells that was too dangerous. Joker commences Queen, Jack and King to take an accident prediction as the car exploded and Queen needs Ace to save her. Finally, Ace's memories were restored, with Joker, Jack and King congratulates them.
Next day, Ace, Jack, Queen and King went to the place when Ace was tortured. Ace and Jack digs the stones, finding the precious golden mask. Ace tries the fake Carmen to wear the mask, indicating that was the Boss who disguised as Minister Carmen, with the real Minister Carmen is in Sky Ace, landing as he has the real Minister Carmen after Joker rescues him from a hostage. Joker says that he is look a like Minister Carmen, revealing him as the Crime Boss. The Boss takes the mask, and J.A.K.Q. began to rampage, fighting to pursue Devil Sphinx and the Crimers, and executing them with J.A.K.Q. Covack after. When the Boss returned with the golden mask, Iron Claw claims that is was a fake mask. Iron Claw executes him as the failure. Back to the garage, Ace and Jack inspects inside the car, indicating that was a real golden mask hidden inside the car's engine. Joker find that golden mask, retrieving it to Minister Carmen. Through any kind of tough situation, J.A.K.Q. will accomplish their mission. Ace's sense of responsibility is tougher than a steel, and it's what helped keep the golden mask safe.
