The Overweight of Fury (怒りの重量オーバー Ikari no Jūryō Ōbā) is the eleventh episode of Gekisou Sentai Carranger.
Synopsis[]
Yoko goes on an obsessive diet spree after an encounter with a number-crunching Gorotsuki makes her think she has gained too much weight.
Plot[]
In the city, Yoko is devouring ice cream and crepes as Natsumi tells her to slow down or else she'll get fat; which Yoko claims won't happen since she's active enough that it won't affect her; making Natsumi compliment her fearlessness. The duo discover swimsuits in a store window as Yoko imagines herself in a swimsuit making her imagine going on the beach, then becoming a model, commercial artist, a CD idol and even getting married to a handsome male from it....all until Natsumi tells her to come out to show off the same swimsuit that she's trying on. She rushes out as Natsumi shows off her own swimsuit which Yoko compliments, making Yoko worried that the swimsuit is making her look fat. As she hides away from the realization, Natsumi gets a call from Kyosuke that something strange is happening in the city.
Elsewhere, a man trying to figure out his budget suddenly has all his numbers from his checkbook stolen and given to another checkbook, shocking a woman as her savings went up by three trillion yen, making the two argue who it belongs to! Elsewhere, the price of cakes suddenly plummets making kids rush to buy multiple for a cheap price while the cost of healthy produce skyrockets. The Carranger notice the weirdness as they discover a Gorotsuki rushing away from the crime. The team transforms as they hit the Gorotsuki; Kyosuke wonders what it's doing as the Gorotsuki states that Earsh's numbers are too well-behaved and that he, PP Rappa, the "Best Wizard of Numbers", will make them misbehave, allowing for the Bowzock to conquer the planet amidst the chaos. The team kick PP Rappa away as the Gorotsuki decides to change the numbers on the meter of a passing truck to make it run amuck; he fires a beam from his staff, but it came back to him, confusing him as Pink Racer flies towards him with a kick; but PP Rappa trips on a rock he was standing on making Yoko fall on top of him! PP Rappa yells at Pink Racer to get off her being too heavy, shocking Yoko as the Gorotsuki complains that she was heavy; Yoko gets angry as she punches him away, forcing him to flee; Natsumi states that Yoko didn't finish him off as she worries.
At the Carranger Base, Dappu states that PP Rappa was a "lightweight", but Yoko claims that he was right about her being heavy. Natsumi tells her to forget what the Gorotsuki said as the male Carranger end up seeing a report about them on TV; a fashion critic named Mr. Hineta states he appreciates the team for protecting them but states that Pink Racer is a tad chubby and shouldn't be wearing pink as a result stating it makes her fatter. The other Carranger laugh as Yoko takes offense about how they're stating she's a "tad chubby", making all her dreams collapse along with herself.
On the Baribarian, Zonnette is fixing up PP Rappa's injuries; but Gynamo tells him to suck it up and not use his girl as his mommy. PP Rappa takes offense and tells them to stop laughing at him but Zelmoda says he should be "PP Ra-poop" for how he was defeated by Pink Racer! The Gorotsuki states the only reason he failed was that his remote control staff ran out of power; but Grotch states it should work next time as he replaces it's power with a powerful "jumbo battery" that will last a long time, hooking it up to a secondary power pack and allowing for it to recharge quickly, the Gorotsuki thanking the scientist for the improvement and he'll cause chaos next time.
Elsewhere, Yoko continues to worry about her weight as she leaves a sauna stating she's not fat as she checks herself on a scale, realizing the shock that she gained two kilograms! She decides to lose some weight to get it off, going on a regiment of exercise and ignoring sweets as best as possible to restrain herself; running, doing aerobics, bikes, weights and swimming to get her weight under control. Next she checks the scale, she is still at the same weight, making her continue to work out in a huge suit while working at the garage! The president brings in some cakes to share with the others, but everyone is watching Yoko instead; the boss wonders if she's undergoing some new fashion trend which she states she is; the boss states he figured she was trying to lose weight but laughs when he realizes it's just a trend. The Accel Changer alarm goes off making the boss wonder if that's a trend too as Dappu appears silently behind him with a sign of the Bowzock attack, making them agree and asking Yoko to join with as she keeps doing sit ups instead.
In the city, PP Rappa decides to mess with the "meters of a vehicle" again as he uses his charged-up staff on a bus of kindergartners, making the bus' speed increase and stopping it's break. Dappu warns the team while Yoko decides to bike to the scene instead of driving with the others, telling them to leave her alone and that they need to fight it before it's too late. The team discovers the rampaging bus and transforms, while the untransformed Yoko has a harder time due to her workout suit not having sleeves to let her access her Accel Changer! PP Rappa appears behind Yoko telling her to join her friends in saving the kids before throwing a "Number Bomb" at her forcing Yoko to the ground and preventing her from moving due to back issues. The other Carranger continue to chase the bus of kindergartners as PP Rappa throws Number Bombs at them breaking the windows and forcing the driver down forcing Yellow Racer to take the wheel of the bus and the other Carranger to restrain it with their strength, making them realize that their opponent really is reckless! The Carranger start chasing PP Rappa and knock him down as they tell him he can't ruin the town any further and force him to fight; the Gorotsuki claims he isn't the same as before, but worries they're missing a member, making them realize they don't have Yoko.
At the Carranger base, Dappu is helping Yoko up as she apologizes for her performance against PP Rappa. Dappu wonders why Yoko pushed herself so far as Pink Racer states that the numbers on the scale went up and she needs to lose two kg so she can look good in a swimsuit! In the city, PP Rappa starts throwing "Scary Number Bombs", making Dappu worry back at base as the team realizes they underestimated him and the Gorotsuki pushes them to pull their Ranger Vehicles out so he can ruin them as well with his remove control stick. At the base, Yoko reasons that PP Rappa messed with her weight scale and that she isn't really that heavy, making her reason her means to fight as she decides to not let PP Rappa off the hook.
At the beach, the Carranger are knocked down as PP Rappa prepares a "Special Number Bomb" to blow them up until Yoko suddenly appears before them, stating that thousands of girls were depressed because of him, confusing the Gorotsuki as she states that her heart personally found this Road Traffic Act Number 1,102: "You shall not talk about the body weight in front of radiant maidens!" Transforming into Pink Racer, she kicks PP Rappa throwing the Special Number Bomb away as she tells him to observe the Maximum Loading Weight and she unloads on the Gorotsuki, kicking him about and withstanding his Number Bombs as she throws a Pink Flying Attack to knock him down and then the Pink Giant Swing to throw him down. Pink Racer prepares to punish PP Rappa for messing with girls' scales by unleashing the "Furious Pink Bomber Punch", uppercutting the Gorotsuki to the ground in anger. PP Rappa states he knows nothing of her scale claim as he eats an Imocho Imo-youkan and the team summons the Ranger Vehicles for RV Robo. PP Rappa takes out a "Number 1", which he states looks like a factory chimney, turning it into a chimney he fires like a cannon; then uses a "Number 2" making it into a duck toy that he fires until they use the Plugnado Spark to block it. He then turns a "Number 3" into a "baby ear" which is useless to him, leaving him open to a Pink Vehicle Punch as Yoko continues to show fury at the scale manipulation she accuses him of and forces him to take the RV Sword Gekisou Cut, dying as he keeps claiming he knows nothing about this accusation.
Later as Yoko and Natsumi go to the sauna, Yoko notice she didn't lose any weight as everything remained as it was, making her depressed as the male Carranger state that she's still a growing girl and that she's fine as she is. Excited, Yoko decides she wants to be treated to either a bean fruit sundae or a chocolate parfait since she no longer has patience after her diet worries.
