Dramole is the mole monster, created by Finster who serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Return of an Old Friend".

Biography

Rita sent him to kidnap everyone in the Angel Grove Youth Center, where he kidnapped the parents and sent them to the Dark Dimension. The plot was to hold them hostage and then draw out Billy to brainwash him and bring Goldar the Dragon Dagger who could then summon the Dragonzord to attack the city. The Rangers would then try to respond but Rita could prevent that with the hostages. After kidnapping the parents, Dramole retreated back to the Moon Palace.

Later, Dramole encountered the Rangers at the quarry and took control over them too before he started to spray his gas over the city. Tommy, who watched it occur due to being re-powered by Zordon, knocked down Dramole which released the others from his control. Rita enlarged Dramole so the Rangers summoned the Megazord and Dragonzord and Dramole turned night to do. He proved too strong for them and took both down, forcing the Megazord to reboot so the Dragonzord had to fight the monster. The Megazpord quickly recovered so they quickly summoned Titanus and Dramole was finally destroyed by the Ultrazord. TV STORY-Return of an Old Friend

He was later recreated by Lord Zedd to guard the Rock of Time, but was defeated again by Billy and his Power Lance. TV STORY-Rangers Back in Time

In "The Wedding", Dramole was among the monsters recreated by Finster where he attacked the Rangers at the Spectre Theater and attended Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa's wedding. He was one of the six monsters who was grown to giant size after the Rangers escaped the Specter Theater. He attacked straight after Eye Guy and unleashed a bombardment of his mind altering smoke which blasted the Thunder Megazord but it recovered and took him down with it's smoke attack with Robogoat going next. He was out of commission for the remainder of the fight and was eventually destroyed again by the Thunder Saber. TV STORY-The Wedding

Dramole was seen amongst the monsters in the Machine Empire and General Havoc's army. He was presumably destroyed by Zordon's Energy Wave. TV STORY-Countdown to Destruction

Personality

Dramole was cunning, sneaky and unpredictable monster. As he managed to take control over the Rangers and nearly won. But he was also arrogant and stubborn and clever heroes defeated him. He also didn't talk, only spoke in roars and groars. During his third appearance Dramole was much more intelligent and could talk. He is also loyal to Rita and Zedd.

Powers And Abilities

• Strength: Dramole possess incredible strength, single slashes knocking back the Megazord and Dragonzord.
• Speed: Dramole can race around underground at amazing speed.
• Underground Digging: Being a mole themed monster, Dramole can quickly move under the ground.
• Mind Control Gas Spraying: Dramole's main ability where he sprays special white gas from his armpits that can control minds of people.
  • Sky Darkening-Dramole's mind control gas, when he was enlarged, could also make the sky turn pitch black.
  • Damage-When fighting the Thunderzords, the Dramole unleashed some of his mind control smoke which caused damage to the Thunder Megazord.

• Claws-Dramole has massive hands with razor sharp claws on them that he can use to smack and slash his enemies with.

Notes

Dramole in Storage

• Dramole comes from what is commonly referred to as "Zyu2" footage, and was not seen in the original Zyuranger. Dramole was intended to have been destroyed by the Megazord. However, it appears that the usage of the Dragonzord Battle Mode and Ultrazord in the battle footage was switched with Soccadillo.
• The second half of the Zord battle features artificially darkened footage done in the same way as in the American version of the Cyclopsis battle. After Green Ranger arrives, the sky brightens up, Dramole is seen looking up at the sky in panic and is noticeably weaker than it was previously. The normal footage can be seen in the stock footage battle used in "The Wedding".
