Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger Returns: Life Received! The Earth's Monarchs' Decisive Battle! (帰ってきた動物戦隊ジュウオウジャー お命頂戴! 地球王者決定戦 Kaettekita Dōbutsu Sentai Jūōjā Oinochi Chōdai! Chikyū Ōja Ketteisen) is a V-Cinema movie for Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger. The direct-to-video film was released on June 28, 2017.[1]
Synopsis
Zyumans and humans now peacefully co-exist on Earth. It is then decided that they'll have a battle to determine who will rule the Earth, but a real danger lurks in the shadows. [2]
Plot
After the defeat of the Dethgaliens, humans and Zyumans live in an unified world peacefully, until one day, the Zyuohgers received an invitation to participate in a fighting tournament called "Champion of Earth", sponsored by a mysterious man called Pocane Daniro. Of the six invited, Amu and Tusk decide not to take part of it and cheers for the others along Perle. During the qualification match, Bud appears and takes Yamato with him, while Sela, Leo and Misao advance to the finals. Away from the others, Bud explains to Yamato that he is suspicious of Daniro and asks for his help to investigate him. Together, they discover that Daniro is holding a cassino where he takes the lives of those who end up in debt and transforms them into jewels. When confronted by the two, Daniro reveals that he is a former Dethgalien Player who became part of a space mafia and apparently turns them into jewels as well.
Meanwhile at the tournament, Sela and Leo advance to the semi-finals where they face each other. In the occasion, Sela insists for Leo to stop taking her lightly and fight for real, to which he agrees and the match ends with a double K.O. leaving Misao and Lilian, a rhinoceros Zyuman girl as the final contestants. As they tend for Sela and Leo, Amu, Tusk and Perle are found by Yamato, who reveals Daniro's plan and that he managed to escape with Bud's help. To infiltrate the casino, Yamato, Tusk and Amu disguise themselves by Perle's illusion power and use their abilities to win all the money from the players and house, then they reveal themselves to Daniro and bet all the money on Misao against all of the jewels in his possession.
Despite Daniro's attempt to cheat, Misao defeats Lilian. However, Daniro refuses to comply and tries to escape, in the occasion, the jewel containing Bud's life is broken and he is set free. When the seven Zyuohgers corner Daniro, he summons Naria and the three Dethgalien Team Leaders to fight by his side. While the other Zyuohgers defeat the reinforcements, Yamato and Bud are assisted by Cube Condor, who briefly fuses them into Zyuoh Condor, allowing them to overpower Daniro before he is defeated with the Zyuoh Special Final finishing move. However, Daniro enlarges himself with a Continue Medal, but is finally destroyed by Wild Tousai King armed with Cube Condor. As the Zyuohgers reassume their resolve to protect the Earth, Misao approaches the team and reveals that he and Lilian decided to go out, becoming the first human/Zyuman couple.
Continuity and Placement
- It takes place after the final episode of Zyuohger because humans and Zyumans are peacefully co-existing on earth.

Notes
- During his fight with Sela, Sendai makes a pose used by Change Dragon, in a reference to one of the various Red Sentai Kazuo Niibori was a suit actor for during his carreer.
- Both Yamato (Zyuoh Eagle) and Bud (Zyuoh Bird), as seen in the appereance, the Cube Condor fuses into a Violet / Purple Ranger to fight against Strongest oppenents. It is also X3 times stronger compared to Zyuoh Whale.
- Pocane Daniro has a symbol strongly resembling a Dark Magic Circle from Magiranger (only partially rotated and with the larger symbols changed) on one wall, best seen when Yamato and Bard confront Pocane about using people's lives to make money.
- This is the last episode and last time the Zyuohgers are seen together. Although the characters do reappear, there is no cross-over the next year due to Shinichiro Shirakura's decision for making VS Sentai (Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger) on TV instead to be released as theatrical films.
- Naoki Kunishima and reprised his role as Misao in Lupinranger VS Patranger VS Kyuranger two years later.
