Dorotabou (ドロタボウ Dorotabō, 3, 4, Movie, 9) A cauliflower/scarecrow-like fame-driven Yokai whose kind is scarce due to Japan's modernization.
History[]
In the guise of the dead beat slob Mr. Dorota, Dorotabou became obsessed with TV. Using a news program to get 15 minutes of fame, Dorotabou ends up picking a fight with Jiraiya and Saizou before falling back. Upon learning that Jiraiya is on Super Battle Quiz, Dorotabo crashes the program and is challenge to a cage match to the death. After losing to Jiraiya in judo, swordsmanship, and boxing, an enraged Dorotabou enlarges. After being pummeled by Black Gammer, Dorotabou is destroyed by Muteki Shogun's Blazing Shogun Sword. 
TV STORY-Ep. 9: The Shocking Live Broadcast
Though unseen, Dorotabou's spirit presumably emerged within the Seal Door along with all the other defeated Yokai, after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Sealing!!

Design[]
- Dorotabou is a modernization of a Japanese mythological creature. The traditional dorotabou were transformed ghosts of old men who toiled in rice fields only to see them lie in waste by neglectful owners after passing on. Here, his design is depicted as resembling a scarecrow and a cauliflower.
