Doomsnake is a basilisk-themed Sporix Beast and the seventh or eighth Sporix Beast from the Sporix Army to awaken working under the command of Void Knight. He was a minor antagonist of the episode "Unexpected Guest".
Character History
Over 65 million years ago, Doomsnake and the other Sporix Beasts invaded Rafkon, the home planet of Zayto. He was first seen hatching on Rafkon with two other unidentified Sporix Beasts. Though he and his fellow Knights of Rafkon fought hard, the Sporix ravaged Rafkon and removed all traces of life from the planet. The Sporix then turned their attention to Earth but Zayto and the remaining Knights had managed to escape Rafkon and tracked the Sporix Beasts to Earth where they engaged them in battle with the help of the dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. Doomsnake was seen growing giant on Earth before firing at the Rafkon Knights.
After the Rangers fought against the Void Knight, Doomsnake was among the Sporix Beasts that escaped.
Sometime after he escaped, Doomsnake hatched off screen and allied with Void Knight, who used him as a sacrifice to battle the Rangers for his plan. Off-screen he had encountered the Rangers and grew giant which leads us to him appearing already giant sized and fighting against the Rangers in the Dino Fury Megazord Blade Formation. Although Doomsnake landed a powerful slash at the Megazord, the Rangers defeated him with the Mega Slash, reverting him back into a Sporix Cell. However, it seemed that his appearance was all but a distraction for the Rangers as Void Knight ordered Wolfgang to unleash his howl at the Megazord, completely dismantling it. Afterwards, Void Knight had Mucus collect Doomsnake's Sporix Cell to which she did and overheard Mick talking about the Nexus Prism before teleporting away.

Personality
It would seem Doomsnake in his short appearance was a brute who wants to "cut to the chase" before the Rangers destroyed him. Due to him appearing for a short time, he had the least amount of a personality shown unlike the other Sporix Beasts before him.

- Enlarging: Doomsnake can enlarge himself through the energy he gains in battle over time.
- Laser Vision: As seen in the flashback of "Destination Dinohenge", Doomsnake can fire red-orange laser beams from his eyes.

Arsenal
- Claws: Despite lacking weapons, Doomsnake can fight with his clawed hands.
- Energy Empowerment: Doomsnake can charge up his claws with purple energy for an increase in power.

Notes
- He was the first Sporix Beast to be grabbed by fellow Sporix Beast Mucus and the first Sporix Beast not to be a major enemy in the episode as he was destroyed rather quickly, having only about 30 seconds of footage.
- Doomsnake's Megazord fight was partially original. His Megazord fight footage is spliced with Ryusoulger episode 9's Megazord fight as his Sentai counterpart never grew giant and was destroyed very quickly. He is also the first and so far only Sporix Beast not to have an episode centered around him.
- Doomsnake was used to rectify a mistake in Ryusoulger. The Dino Fury Megazord Blade Formation's counterpart did not debut until after the destruction of Boomtower's Sentai counterpart which would not make much sense as Boomtower was defeated by the Megazord combining all Zords and showing the four other Megazord combinations except this one did not debut until later unlike the others. Due to needing to showcase this formation before they did the Warrior Formation, they spliced some footage from episode 9 of Ryusoulger that involved this formation to accomplish the original Zord fight.
- Doomsnake is easily the weakest of all the Sporix Beasts so far due to him not having powerful special abilities or the durability of the other Sporix Beasts before him as all he had were his claws and he was defeated by a single slash from the Megazord.
- Like Conwing from Power Rangers Time Force, Doomsnake's Sentai counterpart never grew giant.
- Doomsnake is the first Sporix Beast to be defeated by the Dino Fury Megazord Blade Formation.
