Doodrip is a cybernetic Kukulkan/Quetzalcoatl/dragon-themed general under the service of Lord Zedd who is responsible for turning Ollie Akana evil again. He first appears as a minor antagonist in the pilot episode of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, "Lightning Strikes", and later on the main antagonist in the next episode after that "Beyond Repair", being the very first monster of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.
History[]
After losing two monsters during the battle of Zordnia, the first sent into an unknown location with a Copyguard and the second destroyed by the Rangers, Squillia calls Doodrip for reinforcement. After Izzy mocked him because of his name, Doodrip fires a blue slime at the Rangers, explaining that it will bend them to Zedd's will. Angry at his underling's ignorance, Lord Zedd explains that the poison was intended only for the Blue Ranger. While most of the Rangers are unaffected by the slime, Ollie is corrupted and turns evil. Now Zedd's devout minion, Ollie creates another Cosmic Gateway and Zedd blasts Zayto into it, the portal closing on the Ranger as Aiyon fails to save his friend. Amelia and Javi restrain Ollie and take away the Cosmic Dino Key before he can use it again. Amused, Zedd congratulates Doodrip for his work, but fires him all the same. Doodrip is taken away by two Zentinels while Zedd returns to the fight with Squillia and the rest. TV STORY-Lightning Strikes
Later, Doodrip goes rogue by stealing Squillia's Mega Squidrill and sending an incoming message to Bajillia, Squillia, Inkworth and Lord Zedd whereas they are on Bajillia's Mega Squidrill. He states his intention to prove that he can defeat the Rangers and finishes the transmission. Enraged, Zedd decides to follow Doodrip to Earth, hoping to steal the credit if the general succeeds or finish the Rangers off if he fails.
Approaching the Earth, a Zentinel warns Doodrip of the Rangers' arrival in their new Zords. Overconfident, Doodrip sends Squidrones, but the Rangers destroy them and attack the Mega Squidrill. Doodrip sends a message to argue with them as being their new nemesis, but the Rangers ignore him and form the Cosmic Fury Megazord. They launch their Cosmic Mega Blast and instead of ejecting, Doodrip argues with them about Zedd's arrival and the Mega Squidrill explodes, destroying him and his crew. TV STORY-Beyond Repair
Legacy[]
Despite Doodrip's destruction, his corruption of Ollie was proven to be powerful. Ollie would continue to serve Zedd until his Tricera Statue was destroyed, freeing him from the corruption but at the cost of losing his original Dino Fury powers. TV STORY-Switching Sides
Personality[]
Doodrip was a loyal but dimwitted servant to Lord Zedd, most notably forgetting that Zedd's poison could only turn Ollie evil when he attempted to turn all of the Rangers evil. He is also very prideful, taking his firing personally and stealing Squillia's Mega Squidrill to prove to his former employers that he was capable of destroying the Rangers. Both of these traits would lead to his destruction, as he would continue to monologue to the Rangers just as the Mega Squidrill was about to explode instead of ejecting from it, leading to him getting caught in the explosion. He is extremely trusting of Zedd, believing the Emperor of Evil would help him destroy the Rangers after his defeat when in reality, Zedd planned to destroy him and take all the credit for himself had he succeeded in destroying the Rangers.
Powers and Abilities[]

- Driving Proficiency: Doodrip is shown to be an expert at driving a Mega Squidrill.
Weaknesses[]
- Vulnerability to Cactus: Doodrip is shown to be vulnerable to cactuses.
Arsenal[]
- Claw Bazooka: Doodrip can equip a large bazooka with a four-sided pincer claw over his left arm which he can use in combat.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- Doodrip is voiced by Mark Wright.
Etymology[]
- Doodrip's name is a possible play-on words for "do", which means to perform an action and "drip", which means to let something drop as seen when he hit Ollie with his poison. In their battle, an enraged Amelia puns that he's about to be "Dood-R.I.P."
Notes[]
- Doodrip is the second/last villain to turn Ollie into an Evil Ranger, the first being Sizzurai. The difference is that Ollie is cured long before Sizzurai's death but remained evil even after Doodrip's death until his Tricera Statue was destroyed.
- Unlike his Sentai counterpart, Doodrip is a minor antagonist.
- Doodrip is very similar to Shockhorn from the previous first season of Power Rangers Dino Fury since they are both the first monsters of their respective show, are themed after a mythological creature (Shockhorn: Unicorn, Doodrip: Dragon), and have weapons which they hold with their arms (Shockhorn: Rapier, Doodrip: Claw Bazooka).
- Additionally in their respective shows, they both appear in the first episodes as a minor antagonist, but become the main antagonist in the next episode.
- Doodrip is the first general to be destroyed in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury with only two appearances.
- While Doodrip's costume comes from the Kyuranger character Kukuruga, his role in the season's story is more akin to Kyuranger's Akyanba. They both begin multi-episode arcs where a team member is brainwashed into joining the villains.
