Design
- Don Murasame's design is based on a ninja and a shark.
- The Don Murasame Alter is a remodel of the Don Momotaro Alter.
Etymology
- Murasame is a portmanteau of Muramasa (村正 ), Murasaki (紫, Murasaki, purple), and Same (鮫 Shark).
Notes
- Aside from a shark, Don Murasame is based on Muramasa (full name: Sengo Muramasa), a legendary Japanese swordsmith who lived during Japan's Muromachi period. In pop culture, Muramasa and Murasame are often the names of cursed swords, derived from folklore that Muramasa was murderous and that this trait was passed onto his swords.
- Don Murasame's Avatar Change into AbareKiller has a white neck piece instead of black.
