Synopsis[]
Tsubasa helps Sononi, who is entwined by a man. Sononi, who is interested about the feeling of human love asks Tsubasa about it, who has an important woman in his life named Natsumi. Tsubasa, who is chasing the image of his beloved meets Tsuyoshi by coincidence, the two unaware of each other's identites as Donbrothers and the striking resemblance between Tsuyoshi's wife and Tsubasa's beloved.
Tsuyoshi, who loves his wife Miho sympathizes with Tsubasa's feelings for Natsumi, and invites him over to his house and eat Miho's home cooking. Meanwhile, Taro encounters Sonoi, but they fail to come to terms and fight each other.
Plot[]
In the morning, Miho is cutting Tsuyoshi's hair for a meeting he has at work, and after he asks her if he looks cool, she tells him he always looks cool, making him cry tears of happiness. He promises to try his hardest to land the next contract.
Meanwhile, Haruka is serving customers at Cafe Donbura, where she finds a man named Sakaki drawing a picture. Suspicious that he is drawing her without permission, she asks Kaito if she can ask him to stop, and he says it's OK. As Haruka asks him to stop it, she finds that he's actually drawing a picture of Kaito. Though, he quickly becomes frustrated, saying Kaito's not the "ideal model" for him. Haruka offers him to try her, but he leaves after leaving money on his table.
Shinichi, meanwhile, is taking a walk alone, when he finds a kid's balloon stuck in a tree. He quickly morphs into Saru Brother to retrieve it for him. But after handing it back, the kid shakes his head, and reveals that he WANTED to let the balloon go. Shinichi then lets it go, and recites a haiku about it.
At a cafe, Sononi once again tries to understand the concept of love by interacting with a man. She once again finds the flirting of the person she is talking to boring when he proclaims his love and walks away, but he refuses to give up and grabs her, offering to drive her somewhere. Tsuyoshi stops the man and tells him to knock it off as he is clearly bothering Sononi. The man leaves and Sononi tries her routine on Tsubasa after thanking him, only for Tsubasa to be suspicious of her as he seems to recognize Sononi from somewhere.
Nearby, Tsuyoshi is stressing over his job while on break when he sees Tsubasa and recognizes him from the hostage situation a few weeks ago.
Sononi asks about love, to which Tsubasa says to understand it she must experience being loved by someone herself. He points out he already has a girlfriend, so he isn’t interested in a relationship with another woman. Tsubasa gets up and gets ready to leave when he sees a woman walking by who seemingly resembles his lover Natsumi and approached her. However, he apologizes to her when it turns out he was mistaken. Tsuyoshi then approaches Tsubasa…
Elsewhere in the city, Taro’s delivery van nearly falls prey to three thieves until he spots them. The thieves try to lie to him about borrowing the van but Taro can see right through their deception. Knowing that they cannot steal the van now, they ask if Taro has any money on him. Taro, unable to lie, says he has ¥533,000 on him from doing cash on delivery work. This motivates the thieves to approach Taro in an attempt to mug him. Sonoi, who happened to be passing by, is disgusted by the trio’s greed and intervenes. Sonoi effortlessly fights them and Taro restrains the third thief when he tries to attack Sonoi from behind.
The three thieves run away and Taro compliments Sonoi’s strength and thanks him. Sonoi thinks that Taro could have handled them on his own if he was serious enough to fight. Taro says he refuses to hit people, Sonoi is impressed with the delivery man’s pacifism and his humble occupation. Taro tells him he delivers joy as well as packages. Sonoi finds Taro odd but interesting, but excuses himself as he must go, though he has a strange and certain feeling that they will meet each other again.
In a park, Tsuyoshi talks with Tsubasa, first apologizing for misjudging him and not believing him about his innocence. The basis of his change of heart was Tsubasa talking about Natsumi, having someone he loves in Miho to relate to the fugitive’s feelings. Tsubasa reveals he has never left the city he is in because all the good memories of Natsumi are here as this is where they met. Tsubasa reminisces about meeting her, eating with her and proposing to her to be his wife, to which she said yes. Tsuyoshi shares his memories of Miho with Tsubasa, as he met her in the city too. The two compare their significant others, noticing some similarities. Tsuyoshi invites Tsubasa to his home to meet his wife and have a home cooked dinner with him. Tsubasa accepts the kind offer, saying it has been a while since he’s eaten a home cooked meal.
The artist is wandering the streets alone, frantically searching for a model for his sketches. As his desire grows, the artist sees Miho walking home from work and his Hitotsuki begins to awaken….
Later that evening at Tsuyoshi’s apartment, Tsubasa is eager to meet Miho and Tsuyoshi begins to worry as she should have been home by now…
Miho wakes up in the artist’s studio, bound in ropes so she can’t escape. She wonders where she is as she gets up, only for the artist to demand she stops moving as she is his ideal model for his work. The shadow of the Hitotsuki fully forms into Mashinki and the artist bursts out in insane laughter. Miho becomes terrified as he laughs.
At an apartment complex, a fire is blazing with people trapped inside. Taro and Sonoi arrive on the scene and both race into the burning building, then split up to rescue people, changing into their respective alter egos to get through the fire. Once they carry all the people near to the exit, both revert back to human form just before they meet up so neither reveals their identities. They are all seemingly trapped though once the flames spread higher and further…
Tsuyoshi excuses himself as he goes out to look for Miho, but Tsubasa decides to leave as he admits the two of them are complete strangers and its awkward to be let into his home when they don’t know each other.
Miho is being sketched by the artist when she sees he has long hair. She manipulates his vanity by offering to give him a haircut as a service since she is a beautician and a soon to be famous artist should look his best for his adoring fans. The artist falls for it, though threatens to kill her if she tries anything. Miho cuts his hair and turns it into a makeshift rope to tie his hands behind his back and runs to escape. Tsubasa just so happens to be nearby but missed Miho by focusing his attention on picking up a wanted poster of him on the ground and crumpling it up.
As Miho runs, she finds her husband searching for her and tries to explain what happened but passes out from exhaustion and her injuries from her attacker. The artist catches up to Miho, transforming into Mashinki as his desire to have her for his art reaches its final stage. Tsuyoshi changes into Kiji Brother in a furious rage, determined to make the man pay for hurting Miho.
As dawn begins to break, the people from the fire have all been rescued and are carried out by paramedics. Sonoi and Taro compliment each other’s heroism on a job well done. Sonoi says he thinks all human lives are irreplaceable, but only conditionally. He thinks that vile human greed will destroy the world one day. Taro doesn’t entirely disagree with that and the two part ways.
An enraged Tsuyoshi fights Mashinki and the Anoni when the trio of Saru Brother, Oni Sister and Inu Brother teleport in. Sonoi arrives on his motorcycle just as the four Rangers begin fighting together and transforms, knocking Haruka to the ground with his bike earlier. Before he can even attack, Don Momotaro makes his usual bombastic entrance and stops Sonoi from harming Mashinki by dueling him. Don Momotaro Avatar Changes into Zyuoh Eagle and flies around in Instincts Awakened mode, blowing dust in Sonoi’s face and switches to ToQ 1gou for a surprise strike, then into Patren 1gou and Lupin Red during the fight to keep up with Sonoi. Don Momotaro then Alter Changes, using the Ryusoulger Alter to become Don Ryusoul Momotaro Alter to drive Sonoi back.
Don Momotaro then tries to use the Don Blaster for a powered up finisher but Tsuyoshi, still bitter on Mashinki for hurting his wife, to push Don Momotaro aside so he misses Mashinki. Taking this opportunity, Sonoi reappears and successfully imprisoned Mashinki with a slash of his sword. Then, Sakaki’s soul suddenly appears in a dimensional space inside a cube, screaming in pain as it cracks and then shatters to Sakaki's ill fate. The team wonders why Tsuyoshi did that as they all teleport out of the battlefield.
Kaito is shocked to see the Kiramager Avataro Gear suddenly appear in the cafe.
At Tsuyoshi’s apartment, he makes omelette rice for himself and Miho, narrating the artist deserved to "die" for hurting his wife and coldly believes the world is all the better "without" him in it. Miho compliments Tsuyoshi’s cooking as delicious to his joy. Tsuyoshi narrates to the audience he will do anything to keep Miho safe, no matter who is against him or what he has to do to them. An ominous wind blows in, ending the episode.
