Don 46: A Natsumi Night's Dream (なつみのよのゆめ Natsumi no Yo no Yume) is the forty-sixth episode of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. It features the final appearance of Miho Kijino & the Juto.

Synopsis

Noto Inspector Sonoshi, Sonogo, and Sonoroku appeared to execute Sonoi, Sononi, and Sonoza who were deemed to be dropouts by the Noto Council. Tsuyoshi, who was attacked by Sonoshi and disappeared, is said to be forever wandering in a dark space. Sonoi and the rest of the trio offer to team up with the Donbrothers. On the other hand, Taro wakes up in the Juto forest with an origami in his mouth after taking responsibility for creating the Juto as a member of the Don Clan. The Juto begins to copy Taro. When Tsubasa and the rest of the Donbrothers visit the forest, there is Taro who has become a guardian…

Plot

Continuing from the the last minutes of the previous episode, Tsuyoshi is banished to the pocket dimension again. Sonoshi introduces their comrades and declares that the Council has branded Sonoi, Sonoza, and Sononi as traitors of the Noto and that they must be executed. They fire a barrage of powerful beams while the Donbrothers and the Noto Trio dodge them.

Later that evening, Tsubasa is frantically searching for a way into the Forest of Slumber to find Taro. Jiro finds Tsubasa and wonders where Taro is, as he wanted to introduce him to Rumi. Tsubasa remembers seeing Jiro talking to himself along with Taro and tries to snap Jiro back to his senses, as Rumi does not exist.

In the Forest of Slumber, a bound Taro awakens to a horde of Cat Juto fighting each other to try and copy him. Taro says he doesn’t care who does it, but to hurry up. Mr. Terasaki appears, surprised that Taro is conscious and calls him a fool for eating the origami. Taro says both he and Jiro are Don Clan members so it should not matter who is taken. Mr. Terisaki says that is true, as the penguin is a symbol of the Don Royal Family. Those who are members of the Don Clan are also responsible for being guardians of the forest. Taro asks if the old man laying on a log was the real Terasaki and the Juto reveals the truth, saying that he’s going to die soon. Another Penguin Juto arrives and copies Taro.

Meanwhile, the Noto Trio are in their base and wondering why they have been considered enemies. Sonoi comes to the conclusion that Sonoshi most likely manipulated the Council, but they are shortly kicked out by Sonoshi into the human world with a huge hologram of Sonoshi, Sonogo and Sonoroku looking over them, laughing as they have taken over the Noto base. They go to Cafe Donbura and discuss with Haruka and Shinichi. Sonoi asks for an alliance but Shinichi doubts Taro would allow it, especially after all of their previous misdeeds they had caused and suggests doing something to atone for their crimes. Sononi asks Shinichi to teach her how to make a haiku. He was about to do it, but stops himself because he believed he was being tricked somehow. Kaito takes over suggests that money would suffice, but Shinichi disagrees.

Jiro shows Tsubasa Rumi and introduces her but Tsubasa doesn’t see anything and yet plays along. Tsubasa takes Jiro and asks if Jiro knows about the Forest of Slumber. However, Jiro doesn’t know and asks whether Miho or Natsumi even exist which irritates Tsubasa considering the person doubting the existence of his girlfriend literally had him talking to thin air just a second ago. “Taro” shows up and turns into his Penguin Juto form. The Juto fights Tsubasa and Jiro before he leaves to go make some deliveries. Tsubasa looks up at the sky and noticed a full moon. He notes it wouldn’t make sense since the day before was a crescent one.

The Noto Trio sit on a rooftop as the talk about their situation and try to talk about any money they could have but they all used it. Sonoshi and their allies come to fight, yet Sonoi holds them off and tells his comrades to run shortly before running away himself. He decides he needs to get to the Ring of Forgiveness. Tsubasa runs to the manga and sees that the moon is full in every panel as well. Jiro arrives and asks for answers and Tsubasa told him that it was because Taro protected him, leaving Jiro upset. Terasaki comes and says Tsubasa speaks the truth. Miho comes to “Taro” and notes that he became a Juto now. “Taro” asks if that’s any problem, to which Miho slaps him and asks if he knew his action's purpose. The Penguin agrees and thanks Miho shortly before asking why she is helping. She was about to answer but she then leaves. After leaving, she gets surrounded by multiple Cat Juto and questions why they hate her so much.

Terasaki reveals the origins of the Juto and what drove them to the Forest of Slumber. Jiro asks why he would tell him this and Terasaki reveals it was what he was raised for and that he and Jiro were the only ones living in the village and all his “friends” were hallucinations. Jiro was about to break down but Terasaki reveals he’s going to die and that Taro is in Jiro’s place, making Jiro fall to his knees. Tsubasa asks why the moon is always full and what it has to do with the forest. “Taro” arrives and takes Tsubasa to the forest. Leaving Terasaki confused. “Taro” and Tsubasa reach Taro’s body and Tsubasa goes to rescue Natsumi. They are joined by Sonoi, who somehow managed to get to the Forest of Slumber, being attacked by Juto. Taro asked why he is here but Sonoi says he would answer later. Taro and Tsubasa are attacked and start to fight again. They transform and fight the Juto. Terasaki asks what Sonoi is doing here and Sonoi asks for the Ring of Forgiveness. Tsubasa was about to call for Murasame but Taro stops him and turns into GolDon Momotaro, gathering everyone’s attention, destroying the Juto origamis and scaring off all the Juto. Taro detransforms and Sonoi goes to obtain the Ring, freeing everyone slain by the Noto Trio, including Tsuyoshi, the taxi driver, Yoshioka, Black Bear and Sakaki. Sononi and Sonoza fight against Sonoshi, Sonoroku, and Sonogo before Shinichi and Haruka are teleported to the battle and help in the fight. Tsuyoshi shortly joins the battle after being freed.

Meanwhile, Jiro is with his friends and asks if his friends being illusions were true, but his friends deny it. Jiro turns around and becomes his Dangerous counterpart before turning around and seeing that his friends are fading away. This hurts Jiro and makes him kneel on the floor in grief. Miho is still fighting the Cats and strikes one dead. This makes her realize that it was Taro’s doing and congratulates him. Nevertheless, she was distracted and was grabbed by a Cat Juto and was dog piled on by them and they had beat her death. Sonoi, Tsubasa, and Taro join the battle between the Donbrothers, Noto Trio, and Sonoshi’s team. They used their finishers and forced Sonoshi’s team to retreat.
