Don 45: Laughing Village, Rugged Village (カカむらガガむら Kakamura Gagamura) is the forty-fifth episode of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. It features the return of Sonoshi since their last appearence in episode 37 as well as the first appearances of the Penguin Juto, Sonogo and Sonoroku. It also features the debut of the primary King-Ohger mecha prior to its debut in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger and currently the only appearance of Don King-Ohger.
Synopsis[]
After discovering that Inu Brother is Tsubasa, the Donbrothers are finally all together. When Tsubasa hears that Taro is going to Jiro's hometown, Kakamura, he offers to accompany him. Tsubasa, who was reading a manga manuscript left by Naoki Shiina, seems to have something to do with the name "Kakamura". The three arrive at Huaguo Village, but are unpopular with the village. Taro finds origami at the house of Terasaki, a police officer who acts as Jiro's father.
Plot[]
The episode opens with the Donbrothers celebrating the revelation of Tsubasa’s identity as Inu Brother. Though, Tsubasa does not seem interested as he reads Future Haruka’s manga. Taro notes that it reminds him of her last words before leaving. Tsuyoshi walks in and is upset at Tsubasa for the events of the last episode and storms out saying he hates everyone. Jiro tells everyone that he will be leaving but Tsubasa joins, Jiro while happy that Tsubasa would join, questions why. Tsubasa lies and Taro joins them too. On the bus, Jiro talks about the village and Taro asks about the manga. Tsubasa notes that the situation of the manga resembles theirs with the Juto.
Meanwhile, the Noto Trio are thinking about their situation with the Donbrothers. Sonoza and Sononi consider teaming up with them so that they can both complete their wants with Haruka and Tsubasa respectively. But Sonoi does not want to hear any of it and as the elevator they are on comes to a stop they get squished by people coming into the elevator.
Tsubasa, Taro and Jiro get to Jiro’s home and do not find Jiro’s father. Jiro goes to look for him and Taro and Tsubasa look around for the fridge that was in the manga as “the portal to the demon world”. Tsubasa tries to get in, with Taro trying to force him in, leading Tsubasa to throw a fit but Taro tells him to transform so it could be easier. Tsubasa told him that he does not being told what to do and Taro asks kindly, making Tsubasa do it but Taro just ends forcing him again but no avail.
Meanwhile, Sonoza and Sononi are met by Sonoroku and Sonogo respectively. Shortly after, Tsuyoshi is upset about Miho abandoning him again and allows his desires to take over again and turns into the Gaoranger Hitotsuki, Hyakujuki.
The Penguin Juto
Jiro’s father shows up and treats them with food. As they are eating, Taro sees a penguin origami and reveals that he is a Juto. Jiro’s father also notes that Taro is part of the Don Clan. Jiro’s dad asks for a massage. Taro jumps in and asks Tsubasa to help, which he regretfully does. Jiro’s father explains his role as the guardian of the Juto portal and he tells Tsubasa to keep rubbing his foot which makes Tsubasa angry and he leaves. He eventually reaches a park, where Taro confronts him about his plans of rescuing Natsumi. Tsubasa says that he plans to destroy all Juto with Don Murasame but Taro tries to stop him, starting a fight but they stop when they hear Jiro.
The duo spy on Jiro, where he is hanging out with the his “friends”. “Rumi” tricks him into closing his eyes and tries to feed him the penguin origami but Taro interferes. Mr. Terasaki comes in, disappointed. Taro eats the origami since he believes a member of the Don Clan should take the responsibility of guardian. He walks outside and Tsubasa follows with Taro being sucked into the portal while Tsubasa could only watch.

Meanwhile, Haruka and Shinichi come to face Hyakujuki, but the Hitotsuki is too strong for them plus Sonoi shows up and starts to fight them. Eventually, Hyakujuki grows into Hyakajuking and since neither Don Onitaijin nor Toradoragonjin can show up due to Tsuyoshi being a Hitotsuking (a fact that Hyakujuking acknowledged) and Jiro being far away (along with Tsubasa and Taro), it seems hopeless until a mysterious mecha shows up and defeats Hyakujuking, reverting Tsuyoshi to normal. This leaves both the Rangers and Sonoi who witnessed the battle surprised. Sononi and Sonoza show up but to warn Sonoi as Sonoshi shows up and attacks Tsuyoshi, with their allies, Tsuyoshi is defeated and imprisoned. Meanwhile, Taro is trapped and captured in the Forest of Slumber.
