Synopsis[]
Tsuyoshi learns that Tsubasa has been released and decides to follow him. Sononi, who notices Tsubasa acting strange, realizes that he has been copied by the Juto. Haruka becomes acquainted with Natsumi, who is rehearsing a play in a park. Later, Taro fights Natsumi and Tsubasa, the two Juto, but then, Sonoza appears…
Plot[]
Tsubasa recaps what has happened to him and that he is now trapped somewhere in another dimension with the real Natsumi.
At Pheasant Consultant, Tsuyoshi has been released from jail and is now sulking in depression at work, looking at wedding photos of him and Miho on his phone. Yamada scolds Tsuyoshi for getting an estimate wrong but is ignored, he confronts him about it and is then the target of the man’s unbridled rage, telling Yamada it was a simple miscalculation and to do the paperwork himself. This scares Yamada so much he doesn’t reprimand Tsuyoshi for his outburst. Tsuyoshi gets a call from Haruka, who tells him to meet her at Cafe Donbura.
Upon arriving, Tsuyoshi discovers that the team has made a party for him to try and cheer him up. Taro has noticed Tsuyoshi’s behavior and thinks he is “worn out”, while Kaito and Haruka bring out a cart of ice cream parfaits for him to drown his sorrows in. Everyone says how tough it must be for him to balance a full time office job with superhero work. Tsuyoshi is touched by the kind gesture and thanks everyone. He is constantly praised by Haruka and Shinichi while eating and when Taro tries to say something, Shinichi stops him from being too honest about how he feels about Tsuyoshi.
Tsuyoshi apologizes for his behavior, recently an event has put him on edge and caused him to act irrationally. The conversation takes a turn for the worse when Haruka and the others mention Miho, causing Tsuyoshi to lose his appetite and leave. The others follow him as he comments to a police officer that it is great that Tsubasa is in prison, only to be told that the charges were dropped against the former fugitive and the officer is removing his wanted posters. Tsuyoshi is upset about the news and sees Tsubasa walking nearby, deciding to follow him to discover where Miho is, unaware that Taro, Haruka and Shinichi are following the both of them.
Fake Tsubasa enters a restaurant and proceeds to gorge on the food everyone else is eating, scaring some of the customers away. However, the disguised Cat Juto replicated Tsubasa’s form a little too well and considers the food to be trash due to Tsubasa’s more refined palette of taste in cuisine. One male patron named Kuga in particular considers the strange and tense situation an “emergency”. Fake Tsubasa then enters the kitchen and proceeds to cook a meal for the patrons and makes proper bulk portions of karaage, stir fry and pork for the captive customers. They seem to enjoy the meal despite being forced to eat, and Tsuyoshi gets dragged inside upon being noticed and force fed stir fry by the Fake Tsubasa. Taro rescues him by offering to eat the Fake Tsubasa’s food, though Haruka and Shinichi are oblivious and are jealous that Taro gets free food as both are hungry. Taro deems “Tsubasa’s” food to be terrible, way off from what Tsubasa normally prepares, this angers the fake Tsubasa.
Tsuyoshi sees “Miho” outside and tries to pursue, but trips over his feet. The Juto then tries to feed Haruka and Shinichi but they immediately notice something is off about him and try to run from him. Sononi observes this from afar and recognizes that “Tsubasa” is actually a Juto.
Haruka escapes from the Juto and ends up in the park with the amphitheater, witnessing Natsumi doing rehearsal warmups with Shakespeare quotations. Haruka thinks she is very pretty and goes up to talk to her, asking Natsumi if she is a famous actress. Natsumi says she is just a small time theater actress, Haruka awkwardly says that she was in a movie once…but the project got cancelled. Natsumi says while she was reciting Shakespeare, she secretly wants to be in a theatrical production of Beauty and the Beast. Haruka is unfamiliar with that story so Natsumi explains it to her. Haruka thinks that Natsumi would be a great Belle, only to be surprised that she would like to portray the Beast, it would be a challenge as she always gets typecasted as a beauty. Haruka thinks she simply doesn’t understand these “glamorous types” and is surprised when a man arrives to be Natsumi’s personal trainer as she spars with him in boxing.
Haruka becomes enamored with Natsumi’s activities as she follows her. She eats a gourmet meal at an expensive restaurant and a fan of Natsumi’s work pays for the meal. The girls then go clothes shopping for dresses and once again a rich fan pays for all their purchases, implying that Natsumi has a secret second life as a gold digger who manipulates men to buy her stuff.
Meanwhile, Rumi is getting Jiro back to full health at his home with a nutritious meal of stewed vegetables she brought from her garden back in the country. Jiro begins to shift back and forth between his two personalities as they argue who gets to enjoy Rumi’s cooking, which freaks her out a bit.
She confesses how proud she is of him for following his dreams and successfully becoming a superhero. Jiro confesses it isn’t easy and stuff can get him down in the dumps sometimes. Rumi says if he ever feels doubtful or sad, he should look at the setting sun like they did when they were kids after a long day of playing. She remembers her grandmother telling her that like a disinfectant, the sunset heals all wounds in one’s heart. Jiro doesn’t quite understand what Rumi meant, but appreciates her trying to cheer him up.
The girls carry their shopping bags and boxes as they walk until Sononi and Sonoza show up in front of them. Sononi knows Natsumi is a Juto and seemingly prepares to attack her. Haruka is completely oblivious to what is going on, even thinking that Natsumi’s fighting stance is her audition for the role of The Beast. Sononi asks where the location of the dimension that links the human world to where the Juto are currently hiding is, but Natsumi doesn’t cooperate. Haruka is still oblivious, thinking an improvised play is taking place and the Noto are helping with the performance. Sononi and Natsumi fight until the latter retreats by leaping into the air.
Haruka thinks Natsumi is amazing, her training with the boxer is paying off and the “action scene” was impressive. Sononi asks Sonoza what is wrong with the human, to which he responds she is in a creative slump. The man from the restaurant earlier, Kuga, witnesses the fight and begins to panic.
Natsumi lands near a warehouse area, only to find that Taro has been waiting for her. He asks her about her relationship with Tsuyoshi and she replies that “Miho” is simply an aspect of Natsumi’s dreams of being a bride, reminding him that a part of her nature as a Crane Juto is to weave stories.
Fake Tsubasa finds them, and upon realizing it isn’t Tsubasa, Natsumi tells Taro where the real Tsubasa is and that removing him from the Forest of Slumber and returning him to the human world will remove his Juto clone’s invulnerability.
Fake Tsubasa lunges at Taro and Natsumi changes into her Crane Juto form for the first time to join in the fight and also attack Taro. Taro becomes Don Momotaro and Sonoza surprisingly comes to help him, while also delivering a message from Sonoi, who no longer wants to be involved in a relationship with Taro that is “too friendly”. Sonoza also delivers a speech to his enemies that Sonoi wrote, only to stumble and pause on every other word upon reading it. This frustrates Sonoi who is watching concealed from the two of them on a nearby roof. Sonoza also gets frustrated and discards the speech, activating his battle armor to fight the Juto.
Kuga once again stresses out upon seeing the fight between monsters and a Ranger and declares that it is an emergency, changing into the GoGoV Hitotsuki, Kyukyuki, after the Juto retreat. As he runs, he absorbs people to “rescue” them from danger and bumps into Haruka just as she teleports in, knocking her over. The other Donbrothers teleport in, including the fake Tsubasa who is transformed into Inu Brother. They all do a roll call and then struggle to deal with Kyukyuki while also dealing with the Ranger empowered Juto rampaging after Jiro comes back fully recovered to help. Kyukyuki traps the Rangers in a ring of fire, almost burning Shinichi in the process. Taro summons the Omikoshi Phoenix and equips his GolDon armor, then Avatar Changes into GolDon Zyuoh Eagle, using an enhanced Instincts Awakened mode to blow the flames out with his wings. After a few laser blasts, Taro reverts back to GolDon Momotaro and defeats Kyukyuki with the Festival End attack.
Kyukyuki becomes Kyukyuking, a monster that transforms into a corrupted version of GoLiner. The team combines into Toradora Onitaijin with the Juto Inu Brother trying to resist but unable to do anything. Toradora Onitaijin cleaves the train cars off Kyukyuking with the Pheasant Spear and then as Kyukyuking charges at them, Taro calls the Omikoshi Phoenix and forms the ultimate combination of the Donbrothers: Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami, though Jiro briefly complains about being relegated to an arm. Kyukyuking tries to attack the new robo with a Beetle Mars-like form but swiftly gets pushed aside, slashed with the spear and blasted by the team’s ultimate attack: Galactic Peach: DonBros Fantasia Supreme.
Kuga is purified and heads off for home while Fake Tsubasa inexplicably finds himself facing off against the real Tsubasa, who somehow escaped the Forest of Slumber. The two clash after the real Tsubasa regains his sunglasses and despite getting injured in the process, Tsubasa comes out victorious as the evil Cat Juto double is killed by his shuriken impaling its chest.
The episode ends within the Forest of Slumber as the vine that held Tsubasa had been cut by someone but the real Natsumi is still captive in the forest on a vine…
