- Dinosaur Monster was designed by character designer Muneo Kubo.
- "This was one of the stock designs I had drawn early on, but I was told that the shape of the Noto Peninsula resembled the head of a dinosaur, so I used it. So the map on the chest was added later to match the scenario.” (Kubo)
