Dark Specter's Revenge is the twenty-ninth & thirtieth episode of Power Rangers In Space. It is the conclusion of the five-episode story arc, leading to the debut of Cyborg Ecliptor & Cyborg Astronema. This also marks the first appearance of Zhane's zord, the Mega Winger as well as the Winged Mega Voyager.
Synopsis
Dark Specter wants Astronema back, and to accomplish this, he sends an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. Astronema sneaks aboard the Dark Fortress to divert the asteroid's course, but she is captured and reverted to being evil, while a returning Zhane assists the Power Rangers in destroying the asteroid with a new Zord.

Zords
Notes
- Karone being made an honorary Ranger unintentionally foreshadows her becoming the second Pink Galaxy Ranger next season.
- Bulk and Skull, along with Professor Phenomenus (last seen in "Always a Chance") appear in both parts, and are seen next in "Ghosts in the Machine".
- Karone's character in this episode (specifically, her being brainwashed through cybernetic implants to revert her to Astronema) is very similar to Tenaya's in Beyond a Doubt.
- This episode marks the return of Zhane since in Zhane's Destiny.
- Entirely original footage is used for the sequence where the Megazords push the asteroid away from Earth.
- Justin Nimmo (Zhane) does not appear in Part I.
- According to the End Credit Bloopers; part of this episode was filmed on June 18th, 1998.
Errors
- For some reason the Rangers didn't try using the Megazords to stop the asteroid before sacrificing Karone.
- During the attempt to move the asteroid, Andros is shown in the Astro Megazord's cockpit when he was actually piloting the Mega Voyager.
- Unusually there is a payphone in the middle of the desert.
- The shuttle is missing in the Megaship during the first scene.
