History
In Issue 32 of Go Go Power Rangers, The Power Transfer occurred as Jason, Zack, and Trini transferred their power over to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. While the new Rangers were training to get up to speed in combat, Jason, Zack, and Trini went up into space with the Blue Emissary and Kiya to take on The Empowered and become the new Omega Rangers.
One of the first fights for the new Mighty Morphin team was against the Danger Dingo as Lord Zedd summoned the monster to wreak havoc in Sydney, Australia. In the final moments of the issue, we see two battles mirrored side-by-side as both the Mighty Morphin Rangers and new Omega Rangers are fighting their own separate battles. Notes
- Despite its name, Danger Dingo has characteristics that match the Japanese fox yokai, the kitsune, including multiple tails and fire elemental abilities. This is most likely to fit the tone of the original TV series, which censored or changed things from its Super Sentai counterpart to make it more palatable to a western audience.
- This was common practice in the 1990s with imported shows, one notable example being the infamous scene from Pokemon anime English dub where Brock called a box of onigiri “donuts”.
