Damus (ダムス Damusu) is a Space Beast of the Great Star League Gozma.
History[]
An octopus-like Space Beast with a mouth on top of its forehead. Its main ability is the creation of "Devil Doors", which become portals that allow it to transport anyone it wants within to another world of its choosing. These Devil Doors can either be created out of thin air, or are transformed from doors in the real world. Damus also can shoot fireballs from its top mouth and lasers from its eyes.
Inspired by Hayate playing hide-and-seek with a group of kids, Shiima and Ahames use Damus to create doors on Earth with the intention of splitting off the Changeman and picking them off one by one. When a child Hayate was playing with enters one of the extra-dimensional doors, Change Griffon ends up running and searching through various doors until finally tracking him down, dealing with the Gozma attacks as well as random encounters with Ghost Giluke severely hurting him. After retrieving the child, the Changeman face Damus, who sends them through various worlds that each member destroys with one of their powers until finally eliminating the last Devil Door and destroying Damus with the Power Bazooka. The Changeman have some further difficulty after Damus is rebuilt, but hurt it with the Dengeki-ken's Whirlwind Cut before destroying with the Super Thunderbolt.
