Icon-battlefeverjThis article is about an army of grunts in Battle Fever J.

The Cutmen (カットマン Kattoman) are minions that serve under Egos. Variants include captains with uniforms similar to German S.S. soldiers and scientists with white lab coats.

History[]

The Cutmen were responsible for the death of the first Battle Cossack, Kensaku Shiraishi. Without access to his Battle Suit, Cossack was shot down by the Cutmen while saving Mayumi Mimura. Tvicon TV STORY-Ep. 33: Cossack Dies for Love

Kousoku Sentai Turboranger[]

The Cutmen appear in the clips from Battle Fever J seen in the first episode of Kousoku Sentai Turboranger.

Several Cutmen were part of an army of past enemy grunts that were fought by the Gokaigers in Los Dark's ghost dimension which housed the 1500 spirits of the villains defeated by the Super Sentai. After losing some of their number in an initial skirmish, the remaining members from each grunt group merged to form the Combined Combatant. Though the stronger opponent, the Combined Combatant proved to be unstable due to internal conflicting among the grunts composing him over who got to finish the pirates off. Taking advantage, the Gokaigers used the Battle Fever J Ranger Keys to destroy the Combined Combatant with the Penta Force cannon. Design[]

  • Cutmen were designed by character designer Muneo Kubo.
  • "I designed the mask with the intention of making it abstract, with just vertical lines. But I wasn't thinking about Nozoki, so when we did the first photo shoot, the actor who came in had to paint his face and go through a lot of trouble. So we decided to use the same material as Spider-Man and have him wear the eyes. That's why his eyes have the same shape as Spider-Man's." (Kubo)
