The Cosmic Dragon Zord was the second core Zord of the Cosmic Fury Zords system.

Overview

The Cosmic Dragon Zord is modeled after a mechanical Chinese dragon with a golden mask-like helmet. It has the ability to fly in space and wrap its body around opponents to crush them into destruction. Its signature move is the Cosmic Dragon Fire, where it releases a blazing attack from the mouth.

This Zord has two finishers: the Cosmic Dragon Charge (where it supercharges itself and rams into the opponent with purple lightning) and the Cosmic Blast (where it launches a powerful fireball).

History

A lost Zord of the Cosmic Fury system, the Dragon was buried on planet Akraal, which in modern times was captured by Squid Ink, Inc. and used as a mining colony. CEO Bajillia Naire crowed about her discovery during a livestreamed interview that the Rangers intercepted. The Rangers pursued her by staging a bogus rock concert and, when an evil Ollie Akana and Scrozzle were distracted while guarding the Zord, Zayto awoke it and took it to battle against Bajillia's forces, though not before Ollie planted a tracker on it in hopes of neutralizing the Rangers. TV STORY-Rock Out As the most powerful Zord in the fleet, it assisted the Rangers in several group battles with its constrictor attack and plasma breath. It combined with the other Zords in the system to create the Cosmic Dragon Megazord on several occasions. It was later destroyed along with all the other Zords by Lord Zedd after he absorbed all the powers of the Morphin Masters.

The Cosmic Dragon Megazord is the secondary Megazord of the Cosmic Fury Rangers in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. This combination consists of the Cosmic Grizzly Zord as the right arm and the Cosmic Scorpion Zord as the left arm.

The Megazord can perform the Cosmic Scorpion Venom attack, spraying the opponent with toxicant.

Its finisher is the Dragon Mega Blast, where it shoots a concentrated energy blast through the Cosmic Grizzly Zord.

This combination of the Cosmic Dragon Megazord consists of the Cosmic Shark Zord as the right arm and the Cosmic Chameleo Zord as the left arm. It can use the Cosmic Chameleo Lash to create a wire trap to trip the opponent.

Its finishers are the Dragon Mega Blast, where the blade of the Cosmic Shark Zord gathers energy from the orbs on its body to stab the opponent and the Dragon Mega Lash, where it releases a energized hook and uses the Cosmic Chameleo Zord's whip to grab it and swing it at the enemy.

The Cosmic Fury Ultrazord is the combination of both the Cosmic Fury Megazord and the Cosmic Dragon Megazord and consists of the Cosmic Shark Zord as the right cannon, Cosmic Chameleo Zord as the left cannon, Cosmic Grizzly Zord as the right arm, Cosmic Scorpion Zord as the left arm, Cosmic Bull Zord as the right leg, and Cosmic Wolf Zord as the left leg.

Its finisher is the Cosmic Ultra Blast, which involves the Ultrazord launching a powerful laser beam from the "mouth" of the Cosmic Dragon Zord's helmet on its chest.
