This page highlights the differences between Messiah and Evox.

Messiah Cell
Evox

Differences

Messiah Evox
Messiah originated from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. Evox originated from Power Rangers RPM as the Venjix Virus.
Messiah originated as a computer virus that was mutated by Enetron. Evox originated as a computer virus created by Doctor K and was later revived by Nate Silva.
Messiah presents itself as a deformed, holographic skull. Evox presents itself as a monstrous, holographic cobra.
Messiah was the first, central villain of the Go-Busters and was succeeded by Enter. Evox is the central villain of Power Rangers Beast Morphers and is only succeeded by Scrozzle for the Halloween and Christmas special. Scrozzle goes back to his secondary antagonist role once Evox reveals his survival.
Messiah (as Messiah Cell) is resurrected temporarily as Neo-Messiah through Neo-Geildon using Messiah Card 13. Snide never assumes the form of Evox.
The name "Messiah" references the name of the savior of the Judeo-Christian religion who was coincedently born on the same day (Christmas Day). Aspects of his character are based on the Devil. i.e; his character design, apparatus, and corrupting the first humans.
Messiah created Enter and Escape from the amalgamated data of the scientists captured within the Enetron core. Different traits are taken from different captives; neither of the two is based on any single person. Evox corrupted Blaze and Roxy into his own evil Rangers by infecting the Morphin Grid.
Was not responsible for Hiromu, Ryuji, and Yoko's weakpoints. Devon, Ravi, and Zoey gained their weakpoints due to his virus corrupting the animal DNA they were infused with.
Messiah's ultimate goal is to steal the Enetron to gain so much power that he would be unstoppable. Evox's motivation is to take over the Morphin Grid so that he could render all Rangers across every dimension helpless and eradicate all of humanity forever.
Messiah's first recorded appearance was 13 years prior to the series, assimilated an entire Transport Research Center and was teleported away by several scientists who sacrificed themselves to contain Messiah. He spent 13 years building an entire army before sending them to the human world. Following his defeat as Venjix, he stayed inactive for nine years before being reborn as Evox. He then appears on the present day but his only success was copying two Ranger candidates into his avatars. Once being teleported to Cyberdimension, he took over Scrozzle's faction as his own and arranged the attack on human world in an instant.
Has a raging, childish, destructive personality. Has an intelligent, manipulative, power hungry personality.
Messiah has a Father-Daughter relationship with Escape. Evox only sees Roxy as his subordinate.
Messiah's design is similar to Power Rangers characters such as Zordon and the Venjix Virus. Evox's design is similar to Venosnaker from Kamen Rider Ryuki/Dragon Knight.
Messiah does not have a connection to Beet J. Stag Evox intended to take control of Steel as his new body to escape the Cyber Dimension, however could not possess him because Steel has human DNA.
Did not have Danganloid as a general. He recruited Vargoyle to be his fourth general.
Messiah evolved with the materials used to create his body, Messiah Cell, which lasted only two episodes. Evox required enough Morph-X to create his robotic body, which became his default form.
Has demonstrated the ability to assimilate buildings and organic life to form his giant body. Has demonstrated the ability to grow to giant size on his own due to accessing the Morph-X within his body.
Only revived Cutterloid, Parabolaloid, Forkloid, and Keyloid. Not Burnerloid, Tireloid, Dumbbelloid, and Bulldozerloid. Revived Slicertron, Antennatron, Spiketron, and Keytron, followed by Cycletron, Infernotron, Dumbbelltron, and Bulldozertron.
First defeat came when Hiromu destroyed the computer that was his brain. Was first defeated when Devon blew up a Morph-X tower, the explosion destroying his body.
After his core was destroyed, he was rebooted in the form of the Messiah Cards to insure his resurrection would be complete. After his body was destroyed, he escaped and has inhabited Mayor Daniels's body as his new vessel to take control and continue his evil plans.
The Messiah Metaloids were created from his remaining data before his eventual brief return while Enter takes over as the main villain. No Robotrons were ever created from Evox since he is still active as the main villain while Blaze and Roxy's clones have been revived by Scrozzle.
Did not use Masato Jin for any of his plans. Had used Nate under the control of Controlatron to program a malware virus for his master plan.
Was not responsible for the creation of Tategami Lioh. Was responsible for the development of the Beast-X King Zord while masquerading as Mayor Daniels by manipulating General Burke and Megan into helping him with the project. All part of his master plan to attempt to mass produce the Zord so that he can infect them with the malware virus and destroy Grid Battleforce.
Physical form was granted through Enter using a special program on his data. Physical form was granted through a special machine that Scrozzle designed.
Never killed any of the Rangers. Killed Steel who saved his brother from a devastating finishing attack.
Assumed his final form after a Delta-type absorbing Messiah Card 06 and later absorbed Messiah Cards 09 and 12 to restore Messiah's mind. Assumed his final Gigadrone like form by absorbing as much Morph-X as possible.
Final form was called Messsiah Reboot. Final form was never named.
Final words were him arrogantly claiming that he would rule until he exploded. Final words were him being horrified that human DNA had been inserted into him and that it was corrupting him before cursing the Power Rangers and exploding.
Messiah had no relation to the Banki Clan Gaiark. Evox was formerly the Venjix Virus from Power Rangers RPM.
