The TDF agents sent to the past are all new recruits chosen by Captain Ryuya.	The Time Force agents sent to the past are a quartet of agents who witnessed Ransik's escape from custody.
Don Dolnero is prevented from being cryogenically frozen by his partner Gien attacking the prison.	A combination of Nadira and Frax allow for Ransik's escape from a road transport.
Yuri had no personal connection to Ryuya.	Jen and Alex are engaged to be married with Alex killed by Ransik during his escape.

Tatsuya Asami is only recruited by chance due to his ability to unlock the Timeranger powers for the TDF agents in 2000.	Wes Collins is initially recruited but doesn't initially join the Time Force until he decides to defy his father; but has his morpher taken once the team's powers are unlocked.
